Um…no, I did not have an extra big breakfast today.
As you may have just guessed, based on what looks like the watermelon I’m hiding under my dress, it’s only a matter of days (possibly minutes!) before Baby Girl officially arrives and I have another employer to boss me around. My hospital go-bag is packed and waiting by the door.
I’ll still be around during my maternity-ish leave, but while BG and I get to know each other over the next few months, these six talented, lovely makeup-loving ladies will also be helping me (and you) get my (your) MBB beauty fix.
Please make them feel at home, and give ’em a warm welcome. 🙂
Adia is a lawyer by day and a beauty blogger by night. She believes that makeup should be fun and simple, but she also likes multi-step skincare routines (she’s complicated!). Adia loves the sight of a brand new highlighter, and she’s constantly looking for the perfect concealer. Follow her beauty adventures at Adia Adores (formerly beautyluxelife) and on Instagram.
Anna is an illustrator and designer from Atlanta, GA. Her work focuses on fashion, beauty, and awesome women. A former tomboy, Anna now happily embraces all things pink, glittery, and floral scented. See her illustration work at helloannaoh.com and on Instagram.
Hey, ladies (and gents), it’s Carolina here, reporting live from Bologna, Italy, to bring you the latest and greatest in beauty from the good ol’ continent! For an extra dose of that timeless Italian glam with a touch of humor and self-irony (because, you know, laughter is the best makeup), come say hi at carolinapage.eu and Instagram.
Hi, beautiful! I’m Jen from Jen Leigh Beauty. Now, rather than just talking to myself about makeup, I write it down in a blog. Besides being madly in love with anything I can smear on my face (and sharing pics on Instagram), I’m more in love with my hunky husband, my sweet 2-year-old, and my fluffy fur baby. Thankfully, they put up with the madness.
Marcella Yakalis is a freelance writer living and working in Brooklyn, New York, with two cats, one snake, and one very patient boyfriend. She writes about family, relationships, and oppressive retail culture. See what she’s been up to on Twitter and Instagram.
Nicole was born a red-headed fairy child and nothing has changed. Ditching the mountains tucked away in East LA for the mountains in Oakland, she became a photographer with a flair for too much glitter. You can check out her work and follow her adventures at nicolefraser-herron.com and at @elephantinfantry on Instagram.
