Magic Makeup GPS

Have you ever used one of those GPS devices in a car to help you get where you were going? Well what if there was a special makeup GPS that helped you find exactly what you were looking for?
What if you had your very own Magic Makeup GPS?
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

Ohhh something to tell me how to sort out my skin would be amazing!
I dont have th worst skin in the world and im not even sure it would qualify as Acne but I have been having breakouts around mu mouth and chin area pretty much constantly this year and it is driving me to distraction!!
I have always had pretty good skin really but it seems like suddenly someone has flicked a switch and my skin went super oily and prone to breakouts! It has improved now due to a change in medication and now isnt too oily but im still suffering the breakouts, im just desperate to find the magic answer to sure it!
I was actually thinking about looking into Pro-active when I am in the U.S.A. next week, have you had any experience with the products either positive or negative!

I’d be able to type in a keyword (acne, eyeliner, eyeshadow, oily skin, etc.) and then get various options like – places to find acne treatments, solutions for acne.
Hope that makes sense! Basically I want my Magic Makeup GPS to do it all!

Hi Holly,
The Pro-Activ worked great for me. I had really bad acne along my chin area a few years ago and it was the only thing that cleared it up. I don’t use the entire system any more (just the BP lotion when it gets bad). The cleanser is just OK (I ended up ditching it and using a gentle cleanser), and the toner is pretty good (I ended up ditching that too and just using one from Clinique which is *fantastic* called Mild Clarifying Lotion). If you can find a self-serve kiosk in a mall here then you can just pick and choose what you want to buy instead of having to buy the entire set. But yah… if BP works for you I highly recommend the Pro-Activ’s BP! Works great.

Hi Shefali,
OoOO — good idea! I want my GPS to find me anti-aging skin care that actually works!

thanks Karen,
I know a mall in the city which had a kiosk last year so im going to go along and hope its still there! I tend to find cleansers and toners that specifically target acne really harsh so that would be great if i could get hold of just the lotion! Thanks for the tips!!

This would be great if it would happen.
Maybe I could put an idea in for that. I work as GIS technician and I go to GPS conferences all the time. I wonder what the nerds would say to this suggestion!

My Magic Makeup GPS would give me the best concealer for my Skeletor-Marc Anthony-panda bear rings that seem to change every day. They go from reddish-purple to dark blue-black and I feel like the texture of the skin in that area changes as well. And on top of all that I recently restarted my daily retinol and after that first layer of skin came off it’s like the skin in that area feels so thin. I have tried everything and I haven’t found my miracle. Maybe it could be called the Miracle Makeup GPS.

Definitely something for acne…I’ve had a mild case of it for awhile, but my skin is so sensitive. I really started doing different products this year and god bless the person or people who invented spot treatment gel! :0)

The best treatment for acne is definitely up there but if such a wonderful device were ever to exist… I want my perfect no smudge, no flake, no clumps, with crazy length, volume, staying power and at the end of the day not be hell to take off, mascara.

Hi Holly,
You’re welcome!
Lemme know if it ends up working out for you. *crosses fingers*

Hi Nessa,
LOL, I will keep my fingers crossed and hope that the nerds will be able to work this one out. I’d be eternally grateful!

Hi Kelley,
Aye… I feel your pain with the Skeletor rings. Currently mine are a lovely shade of purple.
What concealers have you tried? Are there any that you like?
14. Karen said, on December 31st, 2008:
Hi Daya,
I hear that. What treatments are you using? Are you doing BP or salicylic acid?
15. Karen said, on December 31st, 2008:
Hi Brenda,
Ohhh, good call. Although if the Magic Makeup GPS found the ultimate mascara then I wouldn’t have an excuse to try new ones… HMM!

Hi Jojoba,
Right? I would want mine to take me to the 50% sales right as they happened so I wouldn’t miss out on the good stuff!

Um, I would love it if this thing actually existed!! I’d never miss out on a sale or that perfect foundation shade that’s out there for me. It’s really hard for me to find a good shade of foundation for me that also has good coverage. I have to use mineral make up because of my very sensitive skin and since I have light Asian skin it’s hard to get my undertones just right… *sigh*
And of course, the unicorn mascara, the one that does it all… if only (stares out the window with a hopeful gaze).
C’mon you tech people out there! I want me a makeup GPS!!

What I wouldn’t do to find the perfect foundation. I am satisfied with MAC SFF but I think I could find better.
