They never sold Ice Cream at the drugstores in my town but we have this ice cream/refreshments drive up by the beach that has so many flavours! Every time I go, it’s cotton candy all the way – you can get your cotton candy fix without going to the fair!

Ironically, I got two out of the four items on my previous visit to the grocery store. Firecracker’s green and pink are no where near as pigmented as I like when using my brushes but they’re okay if you use the spongey applicator thingers that come with them but hate blending. The other one I’ve used only one of the colors but are much more pigmented. I’ve been spoiled by HiP. >.<

But, who can say “no” to free make-up? Not me!

The first thing that came to my mind when I saw this post was the pistachio ice cream from Thrifty’s – it was the first ice cream I ever had from my first visit to California (visiting family in LA) and I’ve always loved their ice cream ever since! I didn’t get to go to a Thrifty’s on my last few visits, though, but I have fond memories of that pistachio ice cream.

Current favorite ice cream flavors: Chunky Monkey and Rocky Road.

I remember when Rite Aid used to be Thrifty. My favorite drug-store flavors are strawberry and rocky road. Mmmm. It makes me salivate thinking about it. High end ice cream stores can’t beat RA’s $1 double scoop!

Moose tracks! I have trouble finding it at my grocery store all of the time, but when I do.. Delicious vanilla with fudge swirls and mini peanut butter cups. I don’t think they ever sold ice cream cones at the drugstores I went to, but they did have those prewrapped ones… my favourite was always the Haagen Dazs ice cream bar, vanilla with the crunchy chocolate (I don’t remember what they put in it to make it crunchy).

Oh!!! My favourite is Ben and Jerry’s Pistachio! It’s so light and nutty, not too dense or sweet on the palate … I love its soft green and the frozen pistachios embedded in the ice cream. The weather here is hideous, it’s like 95 degrees, and I can’t find this flavour here at all ..
