This blog is about two posts away from becoming the Makeup and Beauty and Trader Joe’s Blog.
Yo, I go there almost every day!
In my defense…it’s only a few minutes away, and the parking’s really easy. And they have things like Chocolate Chip Frozen Waffles to rock my carbohydrate-loving world.
Last time I was there I checked out the holiday beauty products, and this year their stocking stuffer game is totally on point.
There were so many gift sets! And most of them are less than $10 each.
I can totally vouch for this trio of body butters. I got a set for myself (merry Christmas to me!), and I love it. They’re moisturizing enough for my dry heels and scary winter cuticles.
The Coriander one is my favorite, which I didn’t expect. I thought it would make me smell like a Chipotle burrito (they put cilantro on everything, am I right?), but nope. It smells sweet, herbal and fresh — kinda like that Gap Grass perfume back in the day.
Next time I go, I think I’m going to get a few of the grooming sets for El Hub, my brother and my dad. Then I might just steal the shave cream from El Hub’s set to keep for myself, haha.
No shame, no shame. 🙂
Have you tried any of the beauty products or toiletries from TJ’s? Am I missing out on anything great?
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

We dont have Trader Joes here in Germany, but they seem to sell almost everything. What kind of store is it? Drugstore, supermarket, food or beauty related?
MelodyJ says
It’s a grocery store not big enough to be a true supermarket. I think it can be categorized as natural or specialty.

Trader Joes is owned by Aldi and it’s very similar. But you have a bit more products and variants of flavors. I also feel that the interior is nicer than Aldi.

Those look awesome and reasonably priced! And such unique scents! I went to TJMaxx last night and they must be stocked up for Christmas because there was sooo much to look at! I managed to stick to my list though!

Your Trader Joe’s seems to be better stocked than mine. Mine doesn’t have all of this cool stuff. 🙁

Hi Karen, I feel the same way you do about Trader Joe’s, quality food and goodies at awesome prices. It is my neighborhood’s grocery store, and I am always going in there. Thank you for taking pics of these items. I have seen some of them in the store and I have to say the face clays are calling my name 🙂 I hope my store will stock them soon. I also loved how you made a reference to the old Gap scent. I loved it and I wish they still carried those scents. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Look forward to all of your posts 🙂

The jojoba oil is a great makeup remover and I use the mango shave cream for my legs. Thanks for the body butter tip. Saw that and wondered. Live three blocks from a TJ.

OMFG. Why no TJ’s in Hawaii???? :’-((((

I think your TJs has stuff that my stores don’t have. I’ve seen some of those things you show but not all — like that body butter trio. I haven’t seen that in my store 🙁

I’m very upset I didn’t get more of the candles and they sold out! For $4 you can beat it at all! I also went deep into body butter stock. I bought 4 of the little tins and 4 of the big seasonal one.

Our Trader Joe’s has the WORST parking lot ever, which is a contributing factor to my not going there very often! It’s such a mess. I thought maybe all TJ’s had bad parking, LOL.

The mango shave cream is the bomb! I also love the All-In-One facial cleanser. I’m on, like, my 5th bottle of it.
