I let her pick out her outfit today, and this is what she came up with. The bows, the Hello Kitty backpack, the flower-print hoodie — everything, all her.
This is so absurdly cute I don’t even know what to say. The whole get up is head explosion worthy, but I think the thing that gets me the most is those tiny jeans. Just ridonk. So, so cute!!!
She’s growing up so fast. I forgot how quickly that happens when they’re so young. Enjoy the ride. She has a wonderful sense of style! Too stinking cute. I predict a lot of teenage boys hanging around your place when she gets older and lots and lots of texting or snap or whatever else they come up with by then.
Ahh, I can’t deal with that! I know she’ll probably be boy crazy at some point but part of me also really hopes she’ll be a tomboy who only wants to play soccer. LOL
Sunny day up here. We just got back from an early lunch at this french bakery called Rustic Bakery, and I found out that Connor loves cornichons, go figure. How’s your day going?
I can’t believe that she’ll be starting pre-school soon! The time really has gone by fast.
Any signs of spring yet in your neighborhood? I drove by the gardening store today and I think if the weather’s nice this weekend, I’m going to grab a few plants for my deck.
Yes we finally are out of the 40’s and into the 50’s for high temps. Still too early to plant anything but that doesn’t stop me from going to Lowe’s and making gardening plans! They have these square plastic planter boxes with wheels for $20 that I am going to use for cucumbers. I think if I put a tomato cage in it the cucumbers will climb it.
She is too adorable! She looks deep in thought in the top picture – what do you suppose she was thinking about? Love the outfit, especially the hearts on her knees. Very stylish!
I hope you’re having a great day so far, Bebe. It’s Thursday, just before noon here in Northern California, and I just got back from an early lunch and trip to the library with Connor. What have you been up to?
I never doubted that girl’s fashion sense! I see she has the ubiquitous 2yo forehead boo boo. One of the boys had a combination of bruises or cuts for about 10 years. :/ And, come to think of it, he broke his kneecap last year. So, make it 14 years. HAHA!
PS I think Connor looks a lot like you in the 2nd pic. 🙂
Priceless!! Although, this could turn on you in about 8-ish years. It took us half an hour to get my 11 year old niece out the door this afternoon to go to the grocery store. The hair always takes the longest. Then there’s the fact that no one in that house ever does laundry, so the three clean shirts she had left didn’t match her only clean pair of shorts. Then she had to find a pair of socks that didn’t match (yes, matching socks is a serious middle-school faux pas). And she suddenly hated the pair of tennis shoes she’s been wearing non-stop for the several months.
Can’t believe she’s starting preschool soon!! She loves her perfectly color coordinated outfit, you can see how proud she is ? Great job picking your outfit Connor Claire!

Hi Sarah,
I know! I get a little emo thinking that someday she won’t fit into them. I’m such a sap, LOL.
I hope you’re having a nice Thursday so far. We just finished having an early lunch here and I’m getting set to do some writing. How’s your day going?
Sarah says
Day ended up being ok!! Weather is crappy here in CT but hopefully will be better tomorrow. We haven’t really had a spring yet so I’m ready for it 🙂

I’d like to think she was planning her next move on how to befriend the neighborhood cat, Harris. 🙂 He lives near the area where she likes to play.
I hope you’re having a great week so far. Did you ever get the chance to make the brownies, by the way?
Linda Libra Loca says
More style than I have apparently.
Karen says
You and me both. My uniform these days is anything that I don’t care about getting food on, LOL! #momlife

It all works…especially the heart-shaped knee patches! I love how kids that age just do what feels right without a care on the world.
Ilene says
I love her! She’s adorable and already exhibits excellent fashion sense!

I dig it. Following in her big brother Tabs’ footsteps.

I’m pretty sure he’s her #1 inspiration!
