What’s making me happy is that it’s time to go home! (5 oclock) Yea! I’m going to Mexican food and margaritas with my best girlfriend. Have a good night Karen!
Mine today wasn’t all that great, but a two days ago, it was: homemade steak and ratatouille, hanging out with friends while listening to one of them play the Amelie soundtrack on piano.
Yum! Passion tea lemonade is the bomb. Is that what you are drinking? I work right across the street from a Starbucks and one of the awesome baristas made me a passion tea apple juice with raspberry syrup. It is soooo good!
What made me happy this afternoon? Booking a wine tour with 4 of my friends for August. We will be visiting the oh so lovely Napa Valley.
I had the best organic-peanut butter sandwich a little while ago. I’m skipping class today to finish a huge French essay off - I have an hour before I have to dash and hand it in, and then I can relax all weekend!
It was just the passion tea. I’m going to try that with lemonade the next time I get it (LOL, tomorrow). I swear that Starbucks puts crack in their drinks.
How fun! Which tour are you taking? I’ve been wanting to take one of those. I like so close to wine country, yet I haven’t done the whole wine tour thing.
I have 4 drive thru Starbucks near me so I am at Starbucks at least 4 times a week.
I have gone on wine tours before which are structured and dont really like those. My friend has a customer who owns their own limo biz so he is hooking us up with a driver, lunch and limo and we get to pick which wineries we go to. I think we are hitting Vianza which is the first winery on the way to Napa from the race track.
The warm weather outside is making me happy…oh and people finally responding to me emails! Not going to stress this weekend I am just going to chill and play with the kitties!
First things first TGIF, seriously I’m at a miserable job that I hate and long to do something in the skin care and makeup fileds and I think that I have been motivated by today to get that new gig goin even if it means I have to suffer financially for a little while because ultimately I want to ,ove what I do!!!
I think the Aveda people did a good job with my hair. I did not style or blow dry at all, just left it as is. Why my friends think it’s cute I have no idea!
Wow! It sounds like it’s a time for a change. I have been in the same spot, girl. Just remind yourself that it’s only temporary, and that you’ll get through it.
Well don’t know if you go back into old blogs but just wanted to tell you that I got an interview with a spa around where I live!!! I’m too excited!!! And I met the owner just on a whim, and she seems to like me!! In case you’re wonderin, I’m the one that was b****in about her job in an earlier post. Thanks for your encouraging words about things being temporary, because you’re right it doesn’t have to be forever!!!

Woot, girl! Have fun with your homegirl and drink a margarita for me (on the rocks with salt, por favor).
You have a good night too, Jess!

Pork buns and this taro cake thing that my co-worker got from Chinatown! It’s that time of the month so I’m on an eating rampage.
July 24th, 2008 at 5:45 pm
Hi Tatiana,
Ahhh, I know what taro cake thing you speak of. I love those!
My stomach is totally rumbling right now.
July 24th, 2008 at 5:50 pm
Yea they’re gray, not the most appetizing color for food but I love them.
July 24th, 2008 at 5:55 pm
They are so salty and good. I love eating them and also having a really cold Coke with lots of ice to wash it down.
July 24th, 2008 at 6:23 pm
looks like you were at Starbucks?
I was quite happy today
couple of friends really notice my new hairstyle which I got it done about a month ago!

Was your hair looking cute?

Hi Betsy,
LOL, brownie bites for everyone.
How fun! That sounds like it was a great day. You know, I’ve never had ratatouille. I just googled it and it looks good though!

Hi Chess,
It’s a brownie bite. SOOO GOOD!
Your peanut butter sandwich sounds good. I love peanut butter sandwiches on really soft, fresh bread, with lots of sliced bananas thrown in the mix.
Good luck finishing your essay! Oui, oui!

Hi Marisol,
Wow! They sure are making it easy for you to get addicted.
Your trip sounds like it’s going to be fun. I am going to lobby for something like for my friend’s bachelorette party.
There’s a ton of yummy places to eat up there too. Plus, the weather’s gonna be nice!

That’s the *best* when you can have hair that’s just wash and go! I am totally jealous!!!
July 25th, 2008 at 11:38 am
That looks like a Passion Fruit Iced Lemonaid from Starbucks that you have there! I could use one of those.
July 25th, 2008 at 11:44 am
Hi Tekoa,
Me too! That’s where I’m going after lunch. I will try to refrain from the brownie bites but I feel like my resistance levels are looooow.
Happy Friday!
July 25th, 2008 at 1:20 pm

July 26th, 2008 at 8:10 pm
Hi Kelly,
Nope, it’s the plain Passion Iced Tea.
Gosh, I love Starbucks. Seriously, they put crack in their drinks!
