Ooh it’s great to have some ideas, but I am so lazy with styling my hair! I just got a Remington Spin Curl dryer which makes it curly as it dries, its pretty good :)

  2. Sarah says:

    Hey Rowena!!
I saw the Spin Curl dryer and was very intrigued. Do you think it’s worth it? Is your hair already curly?

    Great ideas, karen. love it.

  3. Sarahc says:

Oh my God that was fun!

    Thanks Karen. :)

  4. Karen B says:

Wow, that is one big list of tutorials. I’ll have so much fun trying some of these out!

      Hi Karen B.,

Yah, me too! I want to try a few of the retro looks, like the victory rolls.

And is it weird that I’m kinda excited about big hair coming back into style?

  5. Sarahc says:

Hey Sarah, I have the Remington spincurl dryer. It really works. My hair was curly in a past life, I mean it there are loose curls in it, but the weight of it usually keeps them down unless it frizzes out when it rains or there’s humidity. The spincurl builds up my curls 100 times over. You will love it!

  6. H. says:

ooooh… what great vids! i`ll definitely be trying some of these *is excited*.

i have a youtube link for you that im sure you’ll love. its a bunch of makeup tutorials by two professional make-up artists (they’re sisters). they are brilliant, have awesome tips and their own blog as well. go check it out: http://www.youtube.com/user/pixiwoo

    cheers!

  7. Rowena says:

    Hi Sarah!

Yep it worked! Did you see the video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EDbYiqViXY – its also on my blog – sorry for the plug in your comments Karen!) its shows you how to use it on there! I was soooooo dubious and ready not to like it but it really does give a curl and dries quickly too.

    Hey Karen!

Well I tried it without curling product and the wave still stayed in but it was a much looser wave. With a bit of curling product it just stays in my extremely stubborn asian hair untill I wash it again (which is more than can be said for curling tongs!) :o)

  8. Dao says:

I want to try the victory rolls also. I think it would look nice now that I’m back to dark chocolate brown. Retro hair is awesome. We had a retro-chic party two weeks ago and I put my hair up in this 50s hairstyle, it was so cool!
