A fountain in front of a winery in Napa, California. I had one too many glasses of vino when I took this picture and can’t remember the name of the winery… oops.

This is a beautiful photo, Karen!
If only I could have alcohol. My mom tried giving me a tablespoon of wine (she measured it, I kid you not) and I was already tipsy. One adult dose of Nyquil makes me positively piss drunk and I had the low-alcohol version. My mom gave me one dose of the stuff when I had an 104 degree fever (so I was dizzy as is) and had pneumonia and she had to hold my shoulders and guide me up the stairs to my bedroom I was so drunk! So, even when I can legally drink, I can’t drink. Ha ha ha!
I have a friend who can’t drink alcohol either. She’s sensitive to it, like you, but in a different way. She gets an allergic reaction after drinking — she totally passes out! Now she’s always the designated driver, which I’m guessing will be your role, too, when you go out with your friends. 😉
Happy Anniversary, Karen! This picture is gorgeous! Our family spent a wonderful anniversary (when my hub and I first met 12 years ago) on the 4th by going to our favorite restaurant in Toledo, Carrabbas. I love italian food, it caters just enough for our 2 young daughters (5 and 8), but it’s still reasonably priced and “fancy” enough to warrant getting dressed up. Came home after for the fire pit on the deck and smores for dessert! 🙂 Sure wish we had places around here such as where you and yours went! Thanks for sharing!
Your anniversary outing with your hubby and girls sounds like it was a lot of fun. I bet your lil’ ones got a kick out of getting dressed up and then making s’mores afterwards. 🙂 (YUM!). Congrats on your anniversary, and have a wonderful week!
I am a lush cause I know what winery that is. hahahaha! That is Franciscan winery. I am part of their wine club. I love their wine! I went wine tasting in Healdsburg on Sunday. Such a nice day!
