A New Friend

Published in: Daily Beauty

A family of birds has moved into the oak tree just outside my living room deck. There’s usually at least three or four of ‘em hanging out on the branches, so of course, on the day I had my camera handy, only one bird showed up for the photo session.

Thanks, Bonnie. I’ve been wondering what type of birds they are. I’ll try to take pictures of the whole family if I can.

And thanks for the tip about the seeds. :) There’s a shop in my town that sells bird-related things so hopefully I can find those there!

Too cute! I love those pretty little house finches – they hang out in my neighborhood sometimes too – along with some yellow-colored finches. The one in your pic looks nice and round!

Such a sweetie and I like the reddish feathers this bird has. My bird constantly “talks” to the outdoor birds.

Awww! He looks so plump and happy! :) The boys and I were dive-bombed this weekend by a swallow that’s made her nest on top of the garage door opener. I won’t let the Hubs remove it in case she has some eggs in there. It should keep us on our toes all summer as we go in and out of the garage!
