Happy Friday, young lady! 🙂 Greetings from the past — YES, the past.
Okay, not exactly. I scheduled this post before I left for the airport this morning. Right now I’m probably somewhere over Greenland begging a flight attendant for another small bag of pretzels and nuts (I just love those damn things).
Speaking of nuts, one of the things I’ve never wanted to be: a stuntwoman.
Sure, I’m down with heights, and I like fast cars, but why would I ever leap from a building onto a speeding train in three-inch heels?

The closest I think I’ll ever get to stunt-work: the new Chanel Rouge Allure Lacque in Stunt ($32).
It’s a cute creamy plum lipgloss, one of the limited edition goodies in the Chanel SoHo collection. For full coverage color with lots of shine, slick this densely pigmented gloss on sparingly because a little goes a long way (thankfully).
I like the slick, smooth texture. It’s thin and feels non-sticky on my lips, and Chanel didn’t weigh it down with a flavor or scent, either, which I like. As far as wear time, I get from 3-4 hours with it on — pretty good for such a super thin gloss.

I love plum lips! First impression is that NARS All Night Long might be a good alternative for those who don’t want to break the $30 barrier.
Soooo pretty on you! The more I see of this collection, the more I want to get it! I haven’t tried the Rouge Allure Lacque lip products yet. I might have to make a stop by the Chanel counter this weekend if I get out (caught DS’s nasty cold).

Ooooh, that’s pretty! Kinda reminds me of the colour of a Neutrogena gloss I picked up back in high school. I actually end up liking alot of the Chanel colours, I just can’t afford them. 🙁

I love this plum gloss. It reminds me of an old MAC lipglass called ElectroLush that I used to use all the time. I may have to spend that $32…LOL.

That’s a great color. I would have loved to have been a stuntman when I was younger, but I’m getting a little less reckless with age. Plus, I think you have to be a little crazy to do that long-term (see Stuntman Mike from Grindhouse). Wow, sorry about all the movie references today.
Kinda reminds me a lot of the new lipstick/lipgloss “Color Zoom Liquid Lipstick” from Smashbox.
