Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

My new hairP.S. How was your afternoon? We made it over the hump, so from here on out it should be smooth sailing until the weekend. Here’s a phone pic of my new ‘do. I went pretty short, taking off about six inches, and I got bangs!

What’s on the agenda for tonight? Right now I’m just playing around on Facebook and Twitter. Tabs and I are going to watch the latest episode of Glee.

  1. Elizabeth D. says:

If I have puffiness, I wrap two ice cubes in a damp dishtowel and hold it on my undereyes for about a minute to get the swelling down. Also, peach eyeliner on my waterline (white is too harsh for me!) and champagne eyeshadow!

  2. Jenny says:

I would conceal any imperfections, under eye bags, etc. Then I would use a brighter, vibrant off white frosty color to brighten the inner corners of my tear ducts & 2/3 of the lids. Then would contrast the depths of the outer V with a darker shade of my liking that day depending on mood. Follow by eyeliner, mascara, maybe simple falsies would wake up the eye a bit :) Bronze up the face a bit, highlight here and there, shape the brows, and all the other face routine you may desire. All done! ;)

  3. Basak says:

Hi Karen! Thank you for the “good luck” in Turkish :) I start with Laura Mercier’s Secret camouflage under my eyes. I then use Rubenesque paint pot on my lids and top it with with Stila Kitten on the inside corners, a darker brown at the outer corners and blend the crease by Soft Brown. Smudged brown kohl pencil as eyeliner. Then a peach blush and bronzer. I also try not being grumpy :)

  4. Shannon says:

I rarely have bad dark circles, but when I do, I’ll use a little bit of foundation that’s just a *bit* too orange for normal use. The slight orangey color combats the purple under my eyes, and makes me look like I got a full night’s sleep, lol. :)

  5. Lisa says:

I use a light cream-colored eyeshadow (matte or shimmery) in the inner corner and browbone.

  6. Jule says:

I use Benefit Erase Paste under my eyes – then I put Bare Escentuals Well-rested around my tear-ducts and a little under the eyes – I also put a light brushing of NYX highlighter under the the middle of my eyes and a little down the cheeks

  7. Olivia says:

I layer on the concealer, skip any harsh liner (though sometimes I pop Urban Decay in Yeyo on my waterline), add a shimmer light neutral on my lid (I love All that Glitters), and mascara on the top lashes only. Ta Da!

  8. Heather T. says:

Peach eyeliner, and white eyeshadow on lid and perhaps a brownish color in the crease (if i didn’t get enough sleep i am assuming there isnt much time to prep)

  9. janine says:

Oh my gosh, all these lovely ladies have such great tips! I definitely curl my lashes and put on bronzer, I have an unused white liner from ELF (for maybe 1.5 years!) and I may open the seal and try it (hopefully it hasn’t dried out…)

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  10. ritadebora says:

I use Make Up For Ever Lift concealer.

  11. LeahG says:

After a late night out, my three step go to makeup fix is 1) detox my face with icy cold water and Clearasil Ultra Scrub, 2) banishing any sallowness with a bit of foundation and loads of Nars’ “Deep Throat” blush, and finally 3) curling my lashes and swiping on some Diorshow. Somehow simply applying mascara always perks me up!

  12. Sally says:

When I didn’t get enough sleep, I use Painterly PP all over my lid, like normal, but then I also sweep a thin line under my bottom lash line. Then, I use Benefit’s Eye Bright pencil. It works wonders!

Then, I drink two large coffees! :]

  13. Diane says:

When i don’t enough sleep, i use one of thebalm concealer to conceal the under eye so that i look more awake.

  14. Michelle says:

I put some white eyeliner near the duct area and smudge it in — then pat a shadow like MAC Vanilla over it — instantly gives tired eyes a brighter look!

  15. Toni says:

When I don’t get enough sleep, I use my highlighting shadow all over the lid with a medium shadow in the crease (using a very light touch). I put on one coat of mascara and skip the eye liner. I try to put a little more color on my lips and cheeks to de-emphasize my dark circles and bloodshot eyes!

  16. Monika says:

I wear any bright colored eyeshadow’s to make my eyes pop since i really want to just fall asleep all over the keyboard. Add concealer underneath my eyelids and a colored eyeliner instead of black. I may not feel awake but at least Ill look as though I am

  17. Breanna says:

i add a little foundation under my eyes

  18. Lauren says:

Hey Karen! I love your new hair do’! Thanks for the giveway!
When I dont get enough sleep (it happens a lot) I first wash my face with clinique 3 step skin care system (which i love!), then i let the moisturizer kick in. after that i prime my face with smashbox photo finish, and stipple in my mac studio fix fluid for a face that doesnt look all red. then i conceaal my dark circles with cover blend (which brightes my eyes up so much) then i use a white eyeliner on my waterline, usually nyx pencil in white (it is so smooth). after that i prime my eyes with urban decay primer potion. then put mac paint pot in rubenesque. then on the lid i put on mac honey lust, then put on a darker color toards the outer V, usually amber lights by mac, and in the crease, a dark bronze color, usually macs bronze. then i put a shimmery white/ champane color in my inner tear ducts and browbone to brighten my eyes up. then i put on mac fluid line in black track on my upper lashline, and mac kohl pwer eyeliner in feline on my tight line (sometimes). then use estee lauders eyebrow pencil to fill in my brows! Then finish it off with ysl golden gloss, and nars orgasm on my cheaks! it brightens my face up a whole lot! :)

  19. Vickie says:

When I look like I didn’t get enough sleep, I sweep MAC’s Fairylite (or Naked) pigment on my lid up to my brow bone, and sweep some Soft Brown in the crease. I follow with Rimmel’s Sexy Curves mascara for a nice, bright, awake-looking eye. I also try to put on a thin, even layer of foundation, just so my skin looks nice and fresh. Takes me about three minutes!!

  20. Gina says:

i use a lil extra concealer… but i need a new eye cream!

your new hair looks soooooo cute!
Gina’s last blog post… Give Thanks

  21. Diana says:

I use Benefit’s eye bright and boing to conceal my dark circles and Smashbox’s eye brightener on my waterline :)

  22. Vero says:

I tend to use a good concealer, Taos on my cheeks and a luminous eyeshadow as Honey lust.

  23. Nancy says:

I wear white eyeliner on my waterline (I love Rimmel’s white eyeliner) and add a light colored shadow like Phloof! to the inner corners of my eyes. I also use Rohto eyedrops if my eyes are red!

  24. Liza says:

    Concealer and curled eyelashes :)

  25. Wendy says:

I generally try to keep my eye makeup in lighter colors and I will skip eyeliner and just use mascara. Also, I will use an under eye concealer and eye brightener on any dark circles that developed overnight to help cover them. Usually, before all of this, I will use one of my face cleansers that has the tingle thing going on, just to help me wake up!
Wendy’s last blog post… Request: Carrie Underwood Play On look

  26. Rochelle says:

I brighten up my beautiful sleepless eyes (hahahaha lol) with a nice champagne colored eyeshadow and use a really awesome eye cream…. :)

  27. DiAni says:

Concealer under my eyes, then Benefit’s Eye Bright in the corner of my eyes, and on my water line. I don’t use white eyeliner because stark white doesn’t work for me, I look alien :( Then MAC Painterly on the entire eyelid up to brow bone, and a wash of light shimmery color. Curl my lashes two coat of mascara, a bright pink blush to warm up my face, and lip balm.

  28. Natalia says:

I touch it up a bit more with concealer and highlight my inner corners with a light colored shadow AND I also apply a nude eyeliner to my waterline to make my eyes pop up even more, instead of white so it looks a lot more natural.

  29. Tay says:

White eyeliner on the water line, white eyeshadow around the tear duct, and shimmery neutrals on the lid. Boots no. 7 concealer pen also does the trick for dark circles!

  30. Pat says:

Being a partial insomniac, I live by 2 things:

    Skin Actives Eye DePuff :http://www.skinactives.com/product/detail.aspx?prodID=40

    and MUFE’s Lift concealer: http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P12661&categoryId=S10520&shouldPaginate=true

…and drink a good deal of water that day!

  33. Gina says:

I tend to put on darker eyeshadows for a smokey look so that my tiredness appears intentional and somewhat edgy.

  34. Elizabeth says:

When I don’t get enough sleep, concealer is my best friend! To cover those nasty dark circles, I use MAC Studio Finish Concealer (melted a bit with a blow dryer to make application easier). Then set it with a brightening powder or a matte white-ish colored eyeshadow like MAC’s Blanc Type (actually that is a Matte²).

  35. Sarah V says:

I tend to go lighter on the makeup, especially since my eyes are irritated when I don’t get enough sleep. Mostly I do some champagne colored eyeshadow and a little mascara. It makes me look much more alive.

  36. Thais says:

If I don’t get enough sleep, I feel like the simpler and cleaner my eye make up is, the better. So I just put a bit of Stila Kitten smudge pot on the lid, and that is it. But what REALLY helps me look fresh and awake is to make my lashes all curly, long and flirty. I have super straight lashes (I mean, flat iron- straight eyelashes!!!!) so my magic potion is to curl them right at the base and then apply a coat of Shiseido Lasting Lift mascara. This is the one and only mascara that holds the curl on my lashes without a primer, and it also makes the lashes long and well defined. LOVE IT.

  37. Susie Guttman says:

Three words … Benefit Eye Bright!!!

  38. Gracie says:

I put some concealer on, then use MAC Rubenesque paint pot which will also cancel out some gross puffiness. Then I use a light shimmery champagne color on the lids, and i CURL MY EYELASHES! I can’t tell you how much that helps, it just makes me look so much more awake. Mascara finishes it off. Actually, this is basically what I do everyday….hmm I’m always tired, so that explains it! :D

  39. kelly says:

I use a good undereye concealer and also use stila eye kajal liner in topaz to line the waterline and inner cornors. Thanks for the contest!

  40. bagaela says:

I use a lots of de-puffing hydrating concealer, a double coat of concealer (a salmon and a natural one), a lemony-coloured concealer on my lids (not only my undereye araea, but my whole lid is darker when I don’t sleep enough) and use a ligh-coloured shadow on my lids, a little contour and mascara. And I also use a light, popping blusher, my mother always sais that my face tend to turn’greenish and pale and I look a little like a zombie. :)

  42. Lauren says:

trish Macevoy concealer, YSL Touche Eclat brightener, Nars Orgasam the Multiple, Dior Iconic Mascara

  43. Linda says:

This is about every week day for me! Erase Paste all the way! It’s makes me look like a human again, and I use benefits eye brightening pencil on my waterline as well.

  44. shiny922 says:

I always look like I didn’t get enough sleep even if I slept for 10 hours because I have permanent dark circles.. so I dont do anything special other than using concealer under my eyes and using a good blush for a healthy glow. That draws the attention away from my eyes, i hope!

  45. pinksoysauce says:

Your new hair is awesome! I want to do something dramatic, maybe like getting bangs. I’ve never had bangs. :)

When I don’t get enough sleep (which is often; oh, the joy of being an IB student!), I use a skin-toned eyeshadow with shimmer, which brightens up my eyes considerably. If I have puffy eyes, usually I wear glasses to hide them, since I don’t want to sacrifice sleep to look like I didn’t sleep lol. :) The rest of my face is usually okay to go natural with, but if I look particularly icky, I use a bit of Benefit’s BadGal brightening face primer in problem areas with some Bareminerals on top.

  46. J says:

I pile on a tonne of salmon/peach coloured concealer under the eye, and on the inner corner/sides of the bridge of my nose, and then apply a wash of a light shimmery eyeshadow all over the lid, and a little on the tearduct/inner corner. Then I apply white liner to the waterline. And of course curl lashes and add mascara! :O

For cheeks I make sure to apply a nice peachy pink blush that makes me look healthy, and a similarly coloured gloss :D

  47. Sofia says:

When I feel like I haven’t gotten enough sleep (and look that way as well), I use some concealer under my eyes and just some mascara to open them up. That’s about it really, sometimes I apply some champagne colored eyeshadow as well.

  48. Courtney says:

    benefit’s highbeam <3
I also like to use NARS Scorching Sun duo eye shadow.
It brightens my eyes but also makes me feel happier x3

  49. Lulee says:

i wear glasses to hide my sleepiness!

  50. Christina says:

OMG i never get enough sleep… i work 2 jobs, study and i’m a single mum… First things first… MAC Moisture lush eyecream, it works well to reduce the puff bags under my eyes then concealer first a colour correcting one then i use one 3 shades lighter then my skintone, i slather that baby all around my eyes till i look similar to a panda! then i line my waterline with white liner, the rest of my eyes i keep bright by using light shades (MAC: shroom, vanilla or rice paper) and soft brown for the outer V, then a coat of mascara and i’m done. As for my face i use Makeup Forever HD foundation… no matter how crap i look in the morning that always makes me look refreshed… it fools the eyes i tell you…. i look like a actress but underneath i’m all monster!

  51. blu3 says:

If I’m wearing glasses that day I use a brightening tinted moisturizer / foundation to perk up my complexion. Also undereye concealer. If I’m wearing contacts then I’d highlight the inner corners of my eyes as well.
    blu3’s last blog post… 2009 IMATS haul!

  52. Sandy says:

I use ELF’s duo brightening concealer under my eyes, then apply a shimmery, golden color like Fyrinnae’s Polar Bear on the inner corner of my eyes. I also make sure to curl my lashes and apply tons of mascara to open my eyes up.

  53. Melody Lai says:

when I look like I didn’t get enough sleep, I put on an eyecream and brighten my eyes with a lighter eyeshadow color and pat that all over the lid.
I usually use like naked lunch or all that glitters.
    it really works (:
    thanks for the giveaway !

  54. Bomi says:

I use my concealer and cream foundation to cover any circles or blemishes then use a pasty white cream shadow to highlight the ball of my eyes and my browbone. I also hilight the area right about the eyebrows. It helps give depth because my face is sort of flat (ahaha…) and putting on too much concealer and foundation makes my face looks 2-D because you can’t see any shadows. :]

  55. Apple says:

I wear Benefit’s Bright Eyes to make my eyes look all sparkly even without sleep. :)

  56. Christy says:

Concealer is a definite must! When I am  super dead tired, my undereye circles become even more pronounced than ever so I spackle on that concealer! I use an all over wash of the eyeshadow Sahara from the Sephora natural palette, curl my eyelashes, and give it a good lashing of Cover Girl LashBlast. Lastly, a pop of Urban Decay Quickie blush to give me that pop of ‘oh! I am SO TOTALLY AWAKE’ colour and voilà! I am awake, or so you may think.

  57. Brittany says:

Oh man…where to begin. I wear a lighter shade washed all over the lid, I use a lighter eye liner, usually brown instead of black, and I only line the top of the eye. A light brush of mascara is also key for me.

  58. Rhiannon says:

I use MAC concealor, line my wetline with white, curl my lashes and put on mascara

  59. Patrice says:

I wear lighter eye shadows and make my lips bright and shiny.

  60. Kasey says:

I use a Lancome eyeshadow in a color called “drape.” It’s a sheer white but it really makes my eyes look brighter!
    Kasey’s last blog post… Update

  61. Jessie says:

I wear a bit of gold eyeshadow, white eyeliner in the inner corner and on the waterline, and mascara. For the face I keep my cheeks rosy and for the lips probably just a bit of lipgloss.

  62. Laura says:

When I don’t get enough sleep I use concealer to cover my dark circles and a shimmery beige eyeshadow to brighten up my eyes. I also curl my lashes and apply mascara so that my eyes look a little more open and awake. If I have time I’ll put on some pink blush and a sheer lipgloss.

  63. Mimi S says:

When I look like I don’t get enough sleep (every morning) i use a beige or honey eyeshadow on my lids to wake up my eyes.

  64. jessica says:

concealer, eye brightener, visine, and a grande caramel macchiato! nothing beats beauty sleep though. =)

  65. peach says:

concealer under the eyes and a thick line of liquid eyeliner with curled eyelashes to make me look a little bit more… awake!

  66. karlenma says:

  69. nicole says:

When it looks like I don’t get enough sleep, I use some concealer in the under eye area and white liner on the waterline, curled eye lashes and a couple of coats of mascara.
I usually add a peachy or pinky blush to brighten up my face and give me a *fresh* look :-)

  70. Melissa says:

I never get enough sleep! :) I swear by Benefit’s Eye Bright. I use it on my waterline and on the brow bone, make sure to do my brows with Smashbox brow tech, wear mascara, and use Benefit creaseless cream shadow in Recess. It is a creamy neutral color on me, and I apply it from lash to brow. It helps me look more awake and evens out discoloration, without drawing attention or making tiredness look worse. Definitely great ways to fake a good night’s sleep!

  71. Erica says:

when I havent had enough sleep I avoid mirrors at all costs. I usually just touch up concealer, but without sleep I hardly care if my face looks busted. :) Hence why I give myself plenty of sleep!!

  72. Natalie says:

I usually use a shimmery color on my tear ducts, like MAC’s Dazzlelight, and line my waterline with Rest Assured by Tarte. I also make sure to use a bright pink blush to warm up my complexion!

  73. Cindi says:

Happy Holidays! I like to use Chanel’s Quick Cover for undereye dark circles.
    Many thanks, Cindi

  74. Tina says:

I’ll wear my cream MAC concealer, and Benefit’s Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow pots in Recess (light-natural color) and MAC’s Prussian powerpoint eye pencil to make my brown eyes pop! A layer of mascara.

  76. Yao says:

When I don’t get enough sleep, which is often thee days as the semester winds down, I use cover-up under my eyes and only mascara and a bright lipgloss. I figure minimal make-up and some color will distract people from how tired my eyes look!

  77. Oraiba says:

I like using an NW shade to conceal undereye circles on a bad day because I’m probably not in the mood to touch up on it every couple of hours. An NW shade manages to conceal until it fades unlike an NC which can start looking cakey if you don’t maintain it. I also like using a lengthening mascara instead of a voluminizing one.

  78. helenlam says:

I like to put on a little bit of blush, swipe on some foundation under the eyes as concealer and top with gloss on the lips

  79. Amber says:

a concealer and white kohl eye pencil does the trick for me!

  80. Mia says:

Currently I use Dior Skinflash to give me an awake look. But still the same like a lot of sleep ;)

  81. Phoi says:

Hi Karen! I don’t usually get a lot of sleep, and even when I do I have genetically dark and puffy under-eyes, so I always need concealer. I use MAC’s studio sculpt concealer. Then I use NYX’s jumbo pencil in Cottage Cheese (a shimmery white) to highlight the inner corners of my eyes. I curl my lashes and apply mascara to open up my eyes and give the appearance of bigger and brighter eyes.

  82. Julie says:

i soak two cotton balls in iced camomile tea, leave it on for 5 minutes, then YSL touche eclat on darkest part of dark circles and inner corners, mac studio sculpt concealer, make up forever smoky lash mascara,a little bit of white eyeshadow in the inner corners and brow bone and finally mac russian red lipstick to draw attention off my eyes to my lips

  83. Jill says:

I use concealer under my eyes and line my lower waterline with my white mac kohl pencil. And I try to stay neutral with the makeup on my eyelids by using mac vanilla as a base color and a light taupe or brown to define the crease.

P.S. I love that you said “good luck” in Turkish! =) Where did you learn it?

  84. Jessica P says:

I use benefit eyecon under my eyes and then put some of my urban decay 24/7 over on em. Well usually the concealer then the benefit.

  85. Aslıgül says:

woow i’ve been looking for kalahari but its all sold out in İstanbul :(

So here is my hint: YSL Tuche Eclat and a shimmery soft white or Nars ashes to ashes (depends on the mood) on the lids with a volumizing mascara.

    İyi Şanslar !!! :) ))))

  86. Aniroc says:

Love the new doo, Karen! You rock bangs, girl.

When I haven’t gotten enough sleep, concealer is my best friend. Then I make sure that apply highlights to other areas of my face to draw attention away from my eyes if they’re looking heavy and dark still.

  87. brittany says:

    LM brightening powder!

  88. Jenn says:

I keep it simple. I use simple matte, nude shadows, mascara and skip eyeliner altogether. It keeps my eyes more “open” looking. Concealer is a life saver too :)

  89. Krystle says:

I’ll apply bare study p/p all over my lid, curl my lashes and add mascara, and use concealer under my eyes.

  90. Caren says:

Visine, then concealer and neutral eye shadow with brown eyeliner. Then on to liquid foundation on my face and cream blush on my cheeks for a rosy glow, and finally, a nicely defined lip with natural liner and a medium intensity lipstick. Nothing says “all nighter” more than red eyes, pasty skin and colorless lips.

  91. Kailey says:

When I don’t get enough sleep (which is quite often, I have a 9 month old, haha!) I use either MAC Fascinating Eye Kohl, or Stila’s Kajal eyeliner in Topaz. Those babies are my lifesavers!

  92. afroditagirl says:

the concealer will be my best friend ;) I retwitt @afroditagirl

  93. Rosemary says:

I first conceal my under eyes then brighten my them by using a light shimmery shade on my lid; this also helps make my eyes look bigger since mine are somewhat small. I also use a flesh colored eyeliner on my waterline and a shadow that’ll make the inner corner of my eyes pop.

  94. Jaime says:

Hi Karen! Love, love love the new hairdo!

When I’m tired (which is all the time, as I have 2 jobs right now), I use Patricia Wexler’s eye de-puff gel – it really gets rid of the puffy eyes fast. I could use this duo though – to put over top of the gel – it seems like it would be a better eye brightener than the shadow I’m using now. Thanks for doing the giveaway! :)

  95. Megan **** says:

Wow, this post sure did rack up a lot of comments! Lol. Unfortunately, I *ALWAYS* look like I didn’t get enough sleep. Whether I get 2 hours or 12 hours of sleep, I have some mean looking dark circles under my eyes. I use the MAC eye cream & the little tube of concealer from MAC under my eyes. Then I use a pretty shimmer on my lids with a light, neutral brown in the crease. I still look a little sleepy, but it’s better than my Zombie eyes I was naturally cursed with..

I am going to have to try that Origins GinZing eyecream soon to see if it helps me out any.

  96. Hazel says:

I don’t use eye cream because my lids are oily :(
What I do is brush my brows, curl my lashes, highlight under brow bone, inner corners, and top of cheeks (even though it makes me look oily then I already am :P ), put a coat of mascara on, sometimes I’ll put eyeliner, put a little blush on, then use a tinted lip balm :)

This is a lot for some people! LOL

Thanks again for another great giveaway! I don’t have good neutral eyeshadow so this would be perfect for me~

    I retweeted too :D

Hey Karen! Please enter me into the drawing.
I use bobbi brown concealer under my eyes and I use the built in powder underneath to make my eyes seem more open. I also use one of my MAC matte e/s colors in light beige or brown family and then a highlight color in my crease and then presto! That’s all it takes. I like to use gloss to finish the look up. Mwah!!!

for crying out loud am I late? I have no idea about your time matching ours!!! well as far as the question is concerned I only use some powder and a little bit of blush. makeup doesn’t look good on me if I didn’t get enough sleep plus just-got-out-of-bed is a favorite look of mine :)

  101. martan says:

    Lots of concelear and mascara.

  102. Caitlin says:

Whenever I look like I haven’t got enough sleep I tend to pile on concealer around my eyes and then I usually stick to light eyeshadows ( my favorite is urban decay midnight cowboy).

    Hiyas~!

I use my Physician’s Formula light concealer stick underneath my eyes, a nice pink eyeshadow quad from Lancome to brighten up my lids and NARS orgasm/laguna blush/bronzer on my cheeks and face to look more alive =D. Happy Holidays~!

  104. Beckie says:

When I’m late, and I look like all hell, I exfoliate the crap out of my face, tone, moisturize to brighten, and put a thin layer of cell food for skin on my face to tighten skin and de-puff eyes. I go light with the makeup, just a bit of rosey blush, and make sure to swip either studio 54 white glitter eyeliner in the waterline, and blackout mascara by Dior, to make eyes pop, a little Dazzleglass and whalah! Fresh awake look. Even though I still feel like crap, I don’t have to look it!

  105. Michelle says:

I put my eye makeup and cream in the fridge so it goes on COLD. Helps me look more awake! THANKS!

  106. Eva D says:

I use concealer and try to use more mascara or a darker lipstick to try to take people eyes to my lips not my eyes

  107. Lesley says:

I use an orangey-pink blush – such as NARS Orgasm or MAC Springsheen – it gives my face a glow that makes me look awake and ready to go!

  108. Dawn H. says:

I just use extra concealer in hopes that will perk my look up a bit!!

  109. Kim says:

I usually do a neutral eyeshadow to tone down the red eye.

I use Armani corrector in the reddish shade, topped by Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage concealer and Secret Camouflage powder on top.

  111. kimberly lageman says:

I like to use bright colors when I haven’t had enough sleep…it’s the makeup version of “Look over there …it’s Elvis!”…..no one notices the bags and circles when I wear purple or green eyeliner/eyeshadow.

  112. Connie says:

I use concealer, a peach liner on my waterline, light shimmery eyeshadow, and mascara on curled lashes.

  113. Daria says:

I use a sweep of powered mineral concealer under my eyes to hide any discoloration without highlighting them too much. Follow that with a generous sweep of Bare Escentuals eyecolor in Nude Beach from lash line into crease, with a fade up into the brow bone. I use a liquid eyeliner on just the top lashes and wing it out. This way I avoid any potential flakes or over the day smudgy-ness that might settle into under eye circles, plus the line is so clean and dramatic that one focuses more on the top part of my eyes than my tell-tale puffy under eye. Finally, I use LashBlast in sparkly navy blue mostly on upper lashes to keep the focus on the top part of my eye, and the blue helps keeps my eyes looking bright ! To finish the look I put on peachy blush and either go with naked lips or just chapstick to go for an over all fresh, easy going look.

  114. Corinne says:

I wear concealer under my eyes and white eyeliner on my water line

  115. Marisa Lopez says:

when i didnt get enough sleep i put brighter eyeshadow on or more makeup.

  116. Evian says:

When I am lacking on sleep I usually use a light gold eyeshadow with a bronze eyeliner. I avoid dark colored eyeshadow or eyeliner to keep my eyes from looking too heavy.

  117. Kayte CookWatts says:

Usually I do something with a little glimmer to put the focus on my skin., and keep the eye makeup rather minimal so I don’t draw attention to the bags.Chugging endless cups of coffee also helps.

  118. Celine says:

Anything light and shimmery like kitten eyeshadow or golds! Really brightens the eyes. But first, I start out with the Garnier caffeine roll on for the eyes, it eliminates excess puffiness.
