When It Comes to Burnished Brows and Long-Lasting Formulas, Giorgio Armani Beauty’s Eye & Brow Maestros Give a Command Performance

20-pound tabbyOK, don’t worry. We’re going to get through this. You’re going to put down the 20-pound tabby, and step away carefully…

Not yet! Wait for me to give you this signal [I demonstrate a gesture with my hand].

I know, it’s hard because he’s so soft and cuddly, but you have to trust me on this. He really likes his deep-tissue kitty massage, and if you stop abruptly, he could just go off, and no one wants that.

Alright, are you ready? Don’t worry, it’ll all be over soon, and then you’ll be able to devote your full attention to this thought: shiny eyebrows.

Yup, you heard me. Shiny eyebrows.

Kind of weird, right? You wouldn’t think it would work…but it does when Giorgio Armani Beauty does it.

Unlike most brow fillers, their nine creamy new $34 Eye & Brow Maestros have the slightest hint of a sheen. The sheen is supposed to get brows looking as natural as possible by simulating your hairs’ natural shine (as in the hair on your head!).

Oh, and they work, man! Not only do they fill the dickens out of brows, they can also be used to line and shade the eyes, contour cheeks and even touch up the hairline (they’re also waterproof).

As for that fun glittery golden shade, something tells me I won’t be using that one in my brows…unless I get a job walking the catwalk with Tabs, or finally get that Vegas showgirl gig I’ve always not-so-secretly wanted. 🙂

Barring either of those occurrences, I’ll probably just use it to accent my lids or highlight a couple of pieces in my side-swept bangs.

I haven’t tested just how waterproof the formula is yet, but I can already tell that it lasts a long time. I’m talking 10-12 hours.

Then, when it comes time to remove them, I don’t need a jackhammer, which is always nice. They slip off easily with soap and water.

The $34 Eye & Brow Maestros are available now online and at Giorgio Armani Beauty counters in the following shades: 1 Jet Black, 2 Wenge Wood, 3 Acajou, 4 Ambre, 5 Auburn, 6 Copal, 7 Almond, 8 Greige and 9 Gold.

PRICE: $34 each, available in nine shades
AVAILABILITY: Available now online and at Giorgio Armani Beauty counters
MAKEUP AND BEAUTY BLOG RATING: B+ (they’re expensive, yo!)

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

P.S. I can’t believe I almost forgot to say…

I didn’t see these yesterday at the Armani counter. Maybe it hasn’t made it’s way to Canada yet…

I like the concept! Have to say Wenge Wood looks great in your brows. I was a little worried about the purplish tones when I saw the swatch but it looks very natural on the face. What lipstick are you wearing here Karen? It looks great on you!

I actually like shiny brows! I top mine with Smith Rosebud salve when I do a full face that’s a bit more matte. My eyebrows are kind of shiny anyhow and were more so when I was young so I think it adds a youthful quality to a look!

Umm, excuse me, I got lost when you said you could use the gold color for your side swept bangs. Am I the only one who looks for eyeshadows that can double as hair color/hair chalk?

Granted, $34 is a lot to spend on a product just to use it up in my hair, but a girl just wanna have fun ☺️
