For a Limited Time, Eyes Will Smile from a Mile Away with the New 15-Piece Estée Lauder Pure Color Cyber Eyes Collection

October 28th, 2011 by Karen 26 Comments

Estee Lauder Pure Color Cyber Eyes

My, oh, my, what’s this I spy? It looks like the new Pure Color Cyber Eyes collection from Estée Lauder is here.

Rich pigments and metallic finishes define this 15-piece limited edition release for eyes. With the collection, which is coming soon to Estée Lauder counters but available now online, EL introduces a completely new line of all-in-one liquid/powder/gel eyeshadows. The Pure Color Gelee Powder EyeShadows ($24 each) have an amphibious formula designed to be worn either wet or dry.

The release also features six new shades of the company’s Pure Color Intense Kajal EyeLiners ($20 each) and three jewel-toned Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Mascaras ($23.50 each).

For a second there with Cyber Lilac I thought I was looking at foil wrapping paper (so pretty).

What do you think of EL’s attempt to cyberfy our eyes?

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

Wow, normally I just feel meh about Estee Lauder, Elizabeth Arden, and Lancome together for some reason but this might change my perception of EL all together. Want those eyeshadows….bad! Please talk about the texture and application please!!

Yes, how is the wear of the shadow and liner. Do you think there’s a dupe or at least a similar color for the cyber lilac?

The eyeshadows remind me of seashells in their design – very pretty! I’m also intrigued by the copper mascara..

I love Cyber Lilac shade! definitely gonna get a couple of the eyeshadows when they are launched next year in the UK. Yep, that long we have to wait. It will launch in Harrods earlier, but I am nowhere near Harrods!

Love the design a lot also! Ester Lauder is really getting better and better! This month alone, I found 2 of their new lippies that I am so in love with!

I’d love to see what the teal mascara looks like on actual lashes. You can count me in the group giving Estée Lauder a second look after seeing this collection.

I think I’d have to wait for swatches of the eyeshadows, though they look really pretty in pan. I already have a lot of options for eye shinies in my collection, from drugstore to higher end, so they’d have to be amazing. (I kinda hope they are!)

The swatches of mascaras are bloody gorgeous but I am afraid they won’t look that nice on the lashes…

Oh, my. Those powder gelee eyeshadows look so amazing! They look 3D-ish. Is that pretty shine an overspray though? EL used to be an old lady brand. Love that they’re revamping and actually being more modern!

My Mom basically raised me on Estee’, because when I was younger, EL makeup was the only kind I could wear because it was not oil based and it had sunscreen in it as well back in the 80’s. So, she was always getting the specials and I would try them out ususally I had a whole bag of stuff just from the specials EL would run. Love this collection!!! I want those eyeshadows and eyliners!!!
