Vegas, baby!
Famous last words. 🙂 But we’re not actually gonna get in the car and drive nine hours to Vegas, no! We’re gonna teleport and get there instantaneously with the new $45 Stardust by Vegas Nay kit from Too Faced and glam Instagram makeup artist mega star @vegas_nay, also known as Naomi Giannopoulos.
I don’t know if you follow her yet on Instagram, but you should! She does beautiful makeup, and I learn a lot from her feed in terms of getting ideas for doing big glamorous makeup. And that theme — big glamorous makeup — and the makeup she likes to do and feature, translates into the Stardust by Vegas Nay kit.
You get a ton of stuff with it for $45, including a palette of 12 powder eyeshadows in shimmer and matte shades.
You also get a deluxe-sized Better Than Sex Mascara, a Shadow Insurance Primer, a cute, little loose glitter pigment AND, because it’s helpful to get roadmaps sometimes, there are also these little cards with helpful pictorials, so you get steps to follow for six different looks. They’re very handy.
Stardust by Vegas Nay is a beautiful kit for big glam looks, and I think it’s also a good value.
It’s available now online for $45 and coming September 6 to Ulta stores.
Check out the video at the top for more details and a closer look.

Before I even watched your video, I was thinking the same thing- Too Faced bigger palettes do seem to be repetitive, this one looks very similar to the ones released for Christmas last year. I much prefer their smaller palettes but I do think the quality is def there!
That glitter though…:)

Hi Agata,
Yup, I agree with you. This one’s not a bad deal at all for $45. I like this one for the value and the colors, but they aren’t groundbreaking or anything.

It seems like a deal at $45 with everything you get. I’ve never used Too Faced shadows before ladies, are they as good as Urban Decay?
Karen says
Hi Sarah,
I think they’re comparable. UD’s are slightly more pigmented, but I think Too Faced does more wearable palettes in general. You can’t go wrong with either one.
jessica says
yes they are very high quality, on par with UD
Erin says
I’d rather get UD Smoky!

I saw this. Meh.
Too Faced does make a good product though. I have their ugar Pop palette, which I thought was unique enough to get, and I wear it a lot.
This one is not so unique.

I’m beginning to feel like I have sooo many palettes, so it’s becoming hard to justify another one. Unless of course, it rocks my socks off. Loved watching your video.

it’s a nice set but the colors are nothing too different. I’m skipping this

Mine arrived a couple days ago. I really love the colors, though some of them have more fallout than I’d like. I can deal with it. I think they go together well and blend nicely. I’m a sucker for sparkly, though. I’m pretty happy with it.

Stop making me broke! I have soooo many pallette but I just can’t stop! However, I’ve never used too faced shadows so I’ll check it out in Ulta!
