** THE GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED **
This giveaway is closed, and the winner has been contacted (CONGRATULATIONS, RACHEL!!!), but check back next Saturday for another giveaway.
Rise and shine, pal o’ mine! It’s (MAC) Caturday. 🙂
So how was your Friday night? I spent mine with a Martian…
Good movie! Yes, I’m a sucker for sci-fi, but I really enjoyed it. It’s beautiful, sounds great (both the ambient space sound effects, and it has a cool disco soundtrack), looks amazing (the great vastness of space, the breathtaking Martian landscape), has some complex, interesting characters, and not just the character Matt Damon plays. Jessica Chastain does really well, too.
I did realize while watching it, though, that I am so not cut out for space. I’d be all, “NASA, could you please send up some more Fix+? Mkay thx bye.”
I’m still getting myself situated this morning, so I don’t really have my weekend plans worked out, but whatever you’re up to, I hope you have a rock ’em, sock ’em weekend. I’ll talk to you soon, my friend.

Do kids trick or treat in your neighborhood?
yep,
When was the last time you made anything arts and crafty with your hands?
Painting. I painted a bit the other day.
Have you ever used a bow and arrow?
yep,
If you were to start a blog, what would it be about?
Already have one. I’m not really sure what it is about though. lol
I’ve been rambling on for ten years about pretty much nothing.
Maria says
I have been trying to figure out how to post a comment on this page for the past 20minutes. I was using my phone before where I couldn’t find any option to post a comment. So I decided to visit the site from an actual computer and here I saw a link at the top which said ‘leave a comment’..which brings me down to the comments section where I can NOT find a place to leave a comment. Except leave a REPLY to one of the comments. I am not sure if this will be an actual comment or a reply to someones comment. But… I hope Karen includes it as an entry.
So we were supposed to leave any random comment here right?.. I think I used the word’comment’ probably 100 times in here… ! lol
Agata says
I am not sure if kids do trick or treating in my new neighborhood. As you might remember i never had any trick or treaters at my old home.
Favorite store? Target! Sephora being close second.
Have a great weekend, Karen!
Vidya G says
I love your blog! After reading so many blogs and watching so many YouTube videos over the past 6 years, I finally decided to start a blog of my own, especially since no one I know is as makeup obsessed as I am – it’s great to be able to talk to others through the internet beauty community! Thanks for having this giveaway!
Elena says
I just made a bow tie for my dog the other day. I “started” a business and that was going to be one product I sell- but right now I am testing designs and throwing em on my dog to see if they hold up!!
I randomly blog about beauty but I have been so busy lately it hasn’t been happening!
Tiffany says
I’m starting a blog reviewing restaurants within an hour of my hometown! Have a wonderful weekend! ?
Aj says
Do kids trick or treat in your neighborhood?
Yes, they all look so adorable!
What was your best hair/makeup day this week?
Haha, nope not this week. Ponytail all week, and just mascara, blush + powder. Midterms coming up = much less sleep.
What’s your favorite store at the moment?
Marshalls/TJ Maxx – I spend way too much there!
Have you ever used a bow and arrow?
No, but I would love to!
Jacque says
bes hair/makeup day is today! I’m going to a Harry Potter wedding!
Maddy says
My best hair/makeup day this week is today actually, I just got a haircut! Wearing a burgundy lipstick too and feeling fall appropriate.
joan says
Kids do trick or treat in our neighborhood and my best hair/makeup day was Tuesday I think? I did the red lips classic thing and gave my first Naked palette a run (it’s the 3). I have a blog, and it’s about Korean beauty products.
Sierra says
My favorite store right now is gorjana. They have gorgeous pieces.
Tatiana says
OMGosh! You saw Martian?!!! That’s one of two movies I want to see this week. That and Crimson Peak. Not sure how to squeeze them in this weekend. Dear Husband and Dear Daughter are running the Bridge to Bridge on Sunday and I’m their support/cheering team.
Nora kitty has been ill this week and has been to the vet twice, so I want to keep an eye on her as well. She’s been having a really hard time keeping any food in. The vet keeps running tests. I’m hoping they can figure this out and make her better. She’s only 11 yrs. old.
Other than that, they opened a new SpaceNK store nearby and I’d like to go in and have a look around.
Rachel says
So excited to see a question about using a bow and arrow. I have been so obsessed with Robin Hood and the legends and stories that surround him ever since I was little and it has made me fascinated by archery and all things bow and arrow related. Any make up or jewelry or fashion in any way related to archery comes home with me!
Maria says
I am so excited right now because I’m kind of a crafty person but I recently move from another country and had to leave all my stuff back home. So, the exciting part of the story is that I’m buying everything new, and it’s just perfect! I make jewelry using polymer clay, and it’s really cool to have the chance for the first time in my life of going to a huge store and choose all the materials I need. I couldn”t do that in my country, we don’t have big stores like here XD. So now I will start to work again with my crafts and feel creative and relaxed :)… For me, it is the best! 🙂
Tiffanie says
I’m going makeup shopping with a friend today! So excited!
Yari says
I miss trick or treating! I buy candy from the store and wine so I guess that is my grown up version of trick or treating hehe.
Lyse Davitt says
No kids trick or treat here so unfortunately I have no real excuse to buy candy. 🙁
Antoinette says
If I were to start a blog, it would most likely be about make up. Today was ALSO my best hair and makeup day… And it’s raining -___-
Suzanne says
Not only do kids trick-or-treat in my neighborhood, but since houses are so closely packed together in this gated community, whole vans drive in filled with kids. It’s almost comical watching a van stop outside a house, kids pour out, they get back inside, drive forward 30 feet, let kids out again, etc.
Sara says
Oh I want to watch The Martian so badly! I read the book and fell madly in love with it. I hope the movie does justice to the complexity of the book.
Nicole says
My favorite store for the last few years is the cosmetics company in the outlet mall here in Vegas it’s all mac, Tom ford, clinique, origins, smash box, etc where overstock goes that are lauder brands I love it♡♡
MeaganS says

Trisha says
Target is the best store ever!
Eileen says
I love Nordstrom! Free shipping and returns and great customer service.
Kimberly says
We had plans to see Martian last night too, but decided to stay home because I have a lingering cough and didn’t want to be rude to the other movie-goers. For the past few years I’ve gotten a cough that lasts months after a cold, so I’m getting anxious about when I’ll actually be able to see the movie, especially after hearing a good review from you!
Jordi says
My bow and arrow experience is limited to Girl Scout camp, but I am occasionally able to show off at a Renaissance festival. I am much better than my husband, who must have missed that week at Boy Scout camp!
Lindsay says
Wow, what a nice giveaway! 🙂 My favorite store right now is Nordstrom…I’ve never actually been in one and I don’t live near one, but I love me some online shopping!!
Ingrid says
I feel like each year I see less and less trick-or-treaters (although I did move from the West Coast to the East Coast, maybe it’s a regional thing?) but I can’t wait to finish school and get a home so that I can decorate, watch a good horror movie and pass out candy.
As for favorite store at the moment? MAC! I ran over to my nearest MAC counter the other day and I treated myself to the Fashion Revival lipstick from the MACnificant collection. I wanted it all but could only treat myself to a lipstick. Absolutely in love with it thought!
I hope you end up having a great weekend! As for my weekend plans? I have a date with my nursing text book all weekend long! My eyeballs are hurting just thinking about how much reading I have to do! Thanks for all your hard work. I just leave taking breaks from study to read your blog!
Rachel R. says

Karen says
I actually made something arts and craftsy just 2 days ago. I made visuals for the 5 Little Pumpkins rhyme for my preschool sign language class. I attached “pumpkins”, “leaves” and a “candle” to the fingertips of a pair of winter gloves so I can act out the rhyme with my hands.
sarah says
I had a networking event this week, so I used eye shadow and a blow dryer for the first time since the spring. They’re the first thing to go when the weather gets hot, but damn, they do make a difference!
Lesley says
Kids do trick or treat in our little village – and get lots of exercise walking up the steep driveways, and it’s all local kids.
Best hair day was yesterday when I had my hair cut and coloured (first time since July!!!)
I have shot a bow and arrow a couple of times (including once in Japan), but never often enough to be able to hit anything I aimed at.
I once started a photography/travel blog but didn’t stick with it and ended up posting our journals on a site dedicated to cycle touring. I’ve been thinking about getting back to the blog.
Debora Brezoi says
A blog? Hmm about anything and nothing. Just random stuff! Lol :))
I never tried a arrow and bow but i would love to. In my head im really good at it! :))
LindaLibraLoca says
Kids do trick and treat in my neighborhood, which took me completely by surprise when we moved here. I had never experienced it before, so I had no sweets prepared, but they were very gentle on me and just scared me instead of doing something mean.
Lisa Brown says
yes, we get over 100 kids on halloween
Trillina Palemi says

Niki T. says
Sephora would have to be my favorite store. Ulta would be a close second!
Susan Parker says
My best makeup day was actually Monday evening when I was playing around with different looks. I went way out of my comfort zone and loved the results!
Mary says
We live in an older neighborhood with large hills so the kids do not bother to come thru. They go instead to the new adjoining housing area which is flatter and has sidewalks. I really miss seeing all of the kids. Love your blog, & am so happy for you being preggars!
Kaitlyn says

Not really a store but I’ve been obsessed with Etsy as of late!

No trick or treating on my area. There’s a bunch of condos where I live, so a lot of people will drive out to other areas or go to the malls.
Carla says
I always have these ideas for artsy projects but they NEVER turn out like I want!!! Guess I’m just not crafty!
Phyllis Strickland says
I’ll tackle the arts & crafts! I have been working on Christmas cards all week – I am teaching a class tomorrow afternoon. What a fabulous give away – MAC is always my first choice, but the closets MAC is 45 minutes away. 🙁 I can buy on line but not a good way to find colors. Love your blog, I am so glad I found it recently
Susan T. says
If I had a blog it would be all about books, cats and a bit of beauty. I listened to the audiobook version of The Martian and it was awesome! One of my favorites for sure!

We have quite a few trick or treaters on Halloween. We’re busy at the start, then drop off as it gets later (due to cooler temps around here that time of year).
Aimey says
My Friday night was spent trying to back up data from an almost failing hard drive. I walked across the street to Target to grab Haagen-Dazs and pre-cut watermelon for condolence. Luckily the hard drive wasn’t completely gone and I was able to transfer my stuff to an external *praise the Lord*
Angie says

Leah says
We have kids trick-or-treating in our neighborhood and I love it! I always try to get really fun candy for the kids, too! I did pop rocks last year and they were a huge hit. 🙂
Rachel says
Today is my best makeup day this week, since I’m actually wearing more than just the basics! I’m always running late for work, so I slap on concealer/foundation/blush/powder/brow gel and run out the door every morning, applying lipstick at a stoplight along the way. Today I have all that, plus eye shadow (UD Sideline, MUG Pixie and a few others!), eyeliner (UD Twice Baked), filled in my brows, and used 2 coats of mascara! Still ended up applying lipstick at a stoplight though! LOL
Katy says
I used a bow and arrow in high school gym class. I was terrible at it. Luckily, most people were. There were so many arrows stuck in the ground. They’re a pain in the butt to get out.

Nicole - Beyond the Pale and Freckled says
I’m currently waiting for my MIL to show up so we can go see The Martian and get dinner, our first “date” in 2 years and she’s late. And our tickets are for 25 minutes from now. ? I really enjoyed the book, looking forward to it. Lots of good, realistic science. ❤
Heather says
The Martian is the first movie I’ve been excited about in a few years. Looking forward to seeing it. The movie is based on a self-published book and is a great read from what I hear.
McWoo says
Do kids in my neighborhood trick/treat? I’m not sure !!! I moved recently so it’ll be my first time in the area. We must though because there’s a school nearby.
The funniest makeup incident happened this week! I used a liquid eye liner to tight line my eyes and I was thinking… Not bad!! I like this look on me since I’m horrendous at tight lining AND bad with liquid liner in general. Then at work, we had a fire alarm… And since it was raining in the Bay Area, I was outside dripping wet because we all had to evacuate the building… What luck…
Amoure Jones says
Happy Saturday Karen and family,
It’s finally started to cool down after that high temp of 102 on Thursday. It’s pretty warm for Autumn, but it’s still beautiful and I welcome the 80 degree’s that’s coming soon.
What’s your favorite store at the moment? It has to be ShopmissA right about now. I’ve fallen in heavy duty love with these lashes by Kara (the 600’s) so I’ve been ordering them like crazy.
Heather L says
I’ll answer two of the questions. I’ve already started a beauty blog, and I was posting on it 3 times a week until I began going to college full-time while working full-time as well as holding two volunteer positions. Needless to say, I am very disappointed that I don’t have the time for the blog anymore right now, but as soon as I get to where I’m not working over 80 hours per week I am definitely going to go back to it again – I really enjoyed it! My favorite store is definitely Marshall Rousso, a clothing store with the most gorgeous outfits. I can only go there when I’m in Atlantic City, 4 hours from where I live, so every chance I have to get up there I stock up! They don’t have an online store for in between visits. I think they have locations in Las Vegas and one in the Poconos too. There’s one at the Taj Mahal and another at Resorts in Atlantic City. Runners up would definitely be Ulta, Sephora, and Lush in that order. I loved Cache until they closed the physical storefronts – supposedly they will be re-opening as an online presence.
Virginia says
We’re a big trick or treating neighborhood. We went through two bags of candy lady year.
Lynn T. says

Best hair day was on Wednesday, because I had a cut and my stylist makes it look so nice after in a way I could never duplicate. Best makeup day was yesterday because I had a little extra time to get ready and didn’t have to rush as usual.
Cindy says
If I were to start a blog online it would be about music & concert reviews. I already have 8 years worth online!
Cory says
Lmao@”it wouldn’t be a holiday at NARS without a gift set with some MAN JUNK”! Ahahaha that was hilariously on point! That mask one is definitely creepy…I’m glad I wasn’t alone in that “deduction”.. Karen, as far as I know, prune juice is always in a glass bottle, & it always be pitch-lookin’.
I can’t wait to see The Martian! Sci-fi is muh shizzz (got a little lost on Intergalactic, think it was the whole special theory of relativity bit), & it must be Jessica Chastain’s too cuz that’s two hardcore scifi films she was in almost back-to-back. Oh! Matt Damon was in Intergalactic too! I almost forgot! What a role he played lol..
Anyway, thank you for doing these giveaways, Karen. It’s super generous. You’re like the ultimate beauty philanthropist!
Have a great weekend—whatever you guys decide on doing!
~xoxo~

We get a few trick-or-treaters every year, but not a lot. I wish we got more…its always fun to see all the cute kids in their costumes. If I wrote a blog it would be about makeup, teaching (I’m a special education teacher), or a mommy blog (of course I don’t have kids yet so that’s not currently a possibility). 🙂

Hi Karen and Tabs!
Hope this finds you well. I wanted to find my best day last week when I used a new Bobbie Brown holiday palette that I had just gotten in, but instead dealt with lots of fallout !!! Ish! At least the iridescent ones are hella powdery. I only used one of the mattes to contour the eye. It wasn’t as bad. Oh well, it was an impulse buy! It was reminiscent of the Telluride Collection in shadows and a small Bellini lippie. I think it’s actually called the Bellini Collection. Anyway, I knew it was small but didn’t expect it to be that small, but it’s okay. It’s beautifully done.
I’m so excited for you. Happy baby!
Love,
Gina and Gracie.
Chelsea says
If I blogged, it’s probably be beauty, particularly skincare related, maybe with some fashion.
Dawn says
No kids trick or treat in our small, somewhat isolated development. I actually take my kids to a larger development to trick or treat which makes me feel kinda weird since we don’t live there. But it’s common here. Everyone is nice about it and I pass out candy as we run into other trick or treaters.
Bonnie Clyne says
I had unexpected good makeup day. I was wearing my hair in a ponytail which I don’t usually do. My bangs ended up with a glamorous swoop in them and I decided to try out the NARS red lip stain that was my free birthday gift from Sephora. I’ve never worn red lipstick, ever. I got lots of compliments and felt glamorous all day. I tried the lipstick the next day with a different hairstyle and didn’t feel as confident.

Happy Saturday to you Karen! Yes, kids still trick or treat in my neighborhood. Our street is a cul-de-sac and away from the mainfare – we are not one of the busy streets so we don’t run out of candy, and on our street we don’t have special effects like the busy streets do. So alas, all that leftover candy….
Jess says
Favourite store is definitely Sephora *heart eyes forever*
If I were to start a blog it would be a toss up between beauty related things (my weakness) and legal things. I’m currently a law student so these are my two passions. Not sure how these two topics would mesh together though…
Have a great weekend!
Tania G says
When we moved into our neighborhood a few years ago, my kids were the smallest kids in the neighborhood and the only ones trick or treating there. Now more young families moved in and I’m looking forward to more trick or treaters this Halloween.

Since I live in Australia, there isn’t a big tradition of trick or treating, or decorating homes for Halloween. However I’ve been lucky enough to be visiting New England around Halloween a few years ago, and it was wonderful! Everything decorated, and adorable kiddies in their costumes in the late afternooon… it was lovely, and I do wish we did it here. But in Australia it’s Spring, the atmosphere isn’t really the same.
I fell in love with a few towns in New England, I could definitely see myself living there. It’s a special part of the world.
Roxanne Brown says

Not too many kids in my neighbourhood, and we don’t really go all out for halloween in Australia, although it is getting a bit bigger. The last couple of years, we have got a picture of a jack-o-lantern with a note to put it out the front if you want to participate. I think it is a good idea, cos people who don’t want to (or don’t know what it is) don’t get annoyed, and the kids don’t get disappointed.

Love Halloween, but we don’t get any trick-or-treaters in the country. 🙁 We’ve always had to take our kids in to friends’ neighborhoods. But then, they can’t burn in the city, so we make huge burn piles out here and invite them to our place for bonfire parties. It all works out!

We have literally hundreds of kids come to our house for Halloween. Everyone sits out in their yards and the kids queue up – too many to open the door each time. Families dress up and walk the neighborhood together. We hand out candy for two hours solid. Our friends cone over to help.
Daian says
Hello Karen!! 🙂
Your weekend sounded good, a nice Sci-Fi or romantic movie always makes a good weekend for me! 😉
This weekend for me was about celebrating the anniversary of the city where I’m living and I discover that I shouldn’t party that hard as if I were teenager! hihihi… And precisely Friday, because the party, it was my best hair and makeup day of the week (and month)! I spent like whole night with my hair (just to prepared it, I have kinky hair) and with my makeup 2 hours, but I loved the end result.
And your question “If you were to start a blog, what would it be about?”, I’ve been thinking a while about starting a makeup, fashion, kinky hair blog; but I’ve not decided my mind, with sooooo many blogs out there, and very good ones like yours, I don’t see what I can add to the community… but I’m still thinking about it. Any recommendations?
Besos!! xoxo!

Today, I’m really feeling my look, and it’s very low-key chic. My makeup is from Lisa Eldridge’s latest YT tutorial–sculpted eye, slightly winged liner, nude lip. For my hair, I’ve learned and mastered a big, messy topknot–the catch is that I’m pulling this off, and I have a bob haircut!

Kids barely trick or treat in my neighborhood, despite it being an apartment complex.
What’s your favorite store at the moment?
My favorite store at the moment is TJ Maxx/Marshalls. Even if the items are often out of season, they’re cheaper than purchasing those items at higher-end stores. I’ve bought some really nice bras and Spanx there. This week I found some OPI Coca-Cola nail polish.
Rach says
I have a nail blog right now, but if I were to start another one, it would be focused on TV recaps and reviews. Maybe I’d start with the recaps, because I’m not sure I have anything especially unique to bring to the table, review-wise.

Thanks for having the giveaway Karen! I hope your pregnancy is going along healthy.
If I were to have a blog I would want to have part of it be makeup related. This blog has been an unbelievable asset because makeup items look different based on the wearer’s skin tone. Ideally I would like to contribute to the makeup blogging community for people of color because of how much I have learned through it.

Hi!!
The last time I made anything crafty was this week, I think it was Tuesday. I bought a Cricut Machine a couple months ago since I’m trying to start a little business. My husband had a new water bottle that he got from his job and wanted to have his name put on it because everybody use the same bottle and he was afraid someone will take his. I cut his name in vinyl and the result was awesome! He was so happy! He uses his water bottle with pride!
Hope I can win this!!
Congratulations for your pregnancy!! Love your Blog!!

It’s been decades since I made anything. When I was 10 I used to make choker necklaces and did other craft-y things. But I haven’t “made” anything for years. Then about a month ago, I made my own laundry soap, fabric softner and “bleach”. I am very happy about it. And it wasn’t hard or expensive. And my husband really likes the way the clothes feel.

I’m more of an idea person that a hands-on person, but for my birthday my cousins made me a hipster display case for my tea mugs (which I collect). They deconstructed a weathered pallet, added some hooks, and stenciled ‘Tea Time’ at the top. I love it! My cousin wanted to label it ‘Mean Muggin” instead, which I also support. Maybe for my next birthday!

Wednesday. I had a dentist appointment so I had to get creative to get my super thick hair to lay flat. I wound up putting it in a kind of twist worn at the base of my neck. I couldn’t wear lipstick so I went for a bright eye Urban Decay Maui Wowie & Mildew and MAC Bio Green.

it’s been really rainy here which is kind of a downer but on the plus side I’ve found out that I loveeee mac rebel when its overcast and grey outside. I’m not the biggest fan of purple so I was actually thinking about giving it to my sister, so glad I decided to test it out again!

Best hair day was last week–as my hair is short, and it seems to change every day! I’m hoping it will come back around and look great again.

The last time I made anything arts and crafty with my hands? When I was in 7th grade, I made a skirt for my fashion design class. I still have it for sentimental value!

We have not had a trick-or-treater come to our house in the 30 years we’ve lived there. It’s kinda a dark street and our house is at the end of a long driveway.

When we first moved into the neighborhood in 2005, we bought a huge bag of candy from Costco (aka ginormous beyond proportions). We had 1 kid come buy and I had to eat all that candy for the next month (not as hard as it seems lol). But we stopped buying candy until within the last few years there have been more and more families with young kids move into the neighborhood now I have to buy candy or turn off all the lights in our house and pretend to be a vampire for a night.

I used a bow and arrow once when I was a kid and loved it. Haven’t had the chance to since, but I’ve always wanted to learn. Thanks!

Awesome blog and great contest ! , I cant wait to take my kids trick or treating this year, they love getting dressed up during the day and we go to the zoo for a day of Halloween fun and haunted houses, then we end the night by going door to door collecting candies. Such a fun time of year.

I love Halloween! I love all the kids who come to the door all dressed up! And I love dressing up my kids and taking them out. So much fun!

I have never used a bow and arrow… But I do my eyebrows myself!
Kids don’t come up here for trick o treat… But I love getting treats from my friends on their birthdays.
It has been ages since I have made any art n craft project… But I can easily turn anything into a toy for my kids(i.e tissue paper, chocolate wrapper, empty water bottle). Mom skills.
I did not have a good hair or makeup day this week… But I got the chance to shower with peace(when my kids were asleep). Well it was a spa day.
I would love to start a blog about something. Maybe ..Makeup, cooking, vlogs, healthy lifestyle etc. I feel like I am jack of all trades.. master of none!

I’m not terribly crafty, but I love cross stitch and crochet. I just started a cross stitch portrait of Tina from Bob’s Burgers. I also made a crochet skull pattern shawl that I’m looking forward to wearing for Halloween season!

I live in a condo, so sadly there aren’t any kids that cruise by my front door, but I might hand out/eat candy at my parents’ house. They usually get a few cuties dressed up in elaborate costumes!

I’m so excited for Halloween this year. My dad passed away October of last year, so I was almost depressed then. This year, we have our baby boy (whom we named after my dad) and we’ll go trick or treating with him.

The last crafty thing I did with my hands was help my 15 year old sister make masquerade masks for a class play. We made 3 very different and detailed masks, such a fun sister bonding time. I was able to really enjoy time with her and chat while seeing and enjoying her creativity.

I love the month of October because of all the Halloween activities! This is my first year at my new apartment so I’m not sure what trick or treating is like in this town. But I can’t wait to do things like go pumpkin picking, hay rides, haunted houses, R
etc 🙂

Last year I was in LA on Halloween and it is a BIG THING there. This year will be much quieter. We don’t get trick or treaters in our apt building but I’ve been known to walk around town with a giant spider on my head!

I had a class in archery once at summer camp, but I wasn’t very good at it. One of my cousins, though, took it all through high school and even won a few trophies.

We used to have lots of kids trick or treating in our neighborhood including our young ones . But with the advent of mall events and parties for little ones on halloween and with our neighbors growing older and kids growing up we have seen a marked decline in the past 5-10 yrs of trick or treaters. If we have 5 to 10 kids we are lucky.. Of course since we are older our lights go out at 9 so we may be missing the teens..

Never used a bow and arrow before!

My family always has candy ready to give out but no kids have come by for the last few years… hopefully there’ll be some this time~

OMG, no trick or treat. 🙁 Wow, prize paypal gc is fab. & splendid. 2 fingers snap. It is tight, fly & off the chain. Thank you for the awesomeness, the contest, and generosity. 🙂 Pick me, pick me! Dear Santa: I’ve been nice. My X-Mas wish this year is to win this contest. Starving artist here desperately needs the gc to shop and eat. A life changing exp.

Kids don’t trick or treat on my immediate street because it is rather busy, but one street back is a quieter neighborhood where there are always a ton of kids and families out. That’s where we take our kids.
We did an archery unit in PE in high school, so I’ve used a bow and arrow. Difficult skill to learn, but fun. Also very good upper body workout as long as you don’t mind some bruises on your upper arms when the string on the bow hits your arm. (at least if you were a novice like me)

Can’t believe I only own one mac product.. a single eyeshadow in club. what a poor choice that was as I never wear it. would love to try some more wearable colours by Mac, especially since I’m older now!
