New Summer 2016 Urban Decay 24/7 Waterline Eye Pencil in Walk of Shame and 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Heartless

Wearing Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Walk of Shame on my waterline, layered with Heartless below the waterline and in the inner corner of my eye

From day one, I have been in love with the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils.

The insane color selection (last time I counted, there were upwards of 40 shades!), the “glide-on” texture, the creamy and blendable formula and that everlasting finish have consistently made the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils my #1 go-to’s where liner is concerned.

And because Urban Decay is Urban Decay and exceptional when it comes to keepin’ things fresh and releasing new and exciting products, they’ve launched some totally awesome eye pencils with their Summer 2016 collection. A new formula designed with your waterline in mind — quite logically named 24/7 Waterline Eye Pencil — and a fierce shade in the classic range, Heartless, both of which are available for $20 each.

The 24/7 Waterline Eye Pencil mirrors the classic formula in that it’s extra smooth, easy to apply and lasts…well 24/7. But these babies are waterproof, which is a feature that isn’t only fabulous on the waterline, but also during the hot summer months when my makeup tends to melt a bit.

The formula is available in several brand-spankin’ new shades — Legend (a classic black), Mood (a deep slate grey), Rail (a rich espresso brown), Push (a stunning true navy), Street (a peacock teal) and Walk of Shame (a nude; shown here).

Brightening nudes are perhaps what I associate most with waterline eye pencils, as these are the shades I tend to favor myself. I’m a working mom who doesn’t get enough sleep (!), so I’m all about anything that brightens my eyes.

You may be wondering if the waterproof claim is legit. Well, your answer is YES. It’s allergy season for me, and Walk of Shame hangs around even during my so totally NOT glam sneezing attacks and runny eyes.

As for Heartless 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil, what can I say but *insert heart eye emoji here!* heart-emoji-mbb

If Too Faced La Crème Color Drenched Lipstick in Unicorn Tears had a sassy eyeliner cousin, then Heartless would totally be that cousin. Although Urban Decay describes the shade as “a light frosted pink,” there are definite yet subtle lavender and blue undertones to the shimmer. They don’t show up as much as I’d like them to for a winged liner color, so I’ve been enjoying this more as a brightening alternative to Walk of Shame along my waterline and lower lash line. Because it’s a pinkish lavender, it really wakes me up and makes my eyes pop!

So, you’re that saying you’ve never tried any of Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils?? I’m going to have to ask you to look me in the eyeliner and say that, because the Summer 2016 releases are as incredible as the others. Urban Decay knows what they’re doing when it comes to your feline flicks, thick wings and waterlines!

What’s your favorite shade in the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil range? 🙂

OMG! I love the eye makeup… the whole of it! What are you wearing on your lips?

Urban Decay is not available where I live. But, this year, I would be flying international. Hoping to lay my paws on these from a Sephora.

Thank you!! I’m actually wearing a drugstore product, it’s Maybellie’s Color Elixir Iridescent in Lust for Mauve. One of the best drugstore glosses I’ve EVER used.

The waterline pencils appeared in Europe earlier and I’ve had Push and Mood for a few months now. Mood is perfect for a non-harsh waterline complement to a winged eyeliner. I find they migrate a tiny bit over the hours, but never more than a milimetre or two.

Thank you for letting me know! It’s not something I would have noticed with the nude shade.

Ooooh! I may have to pick up Heartless! I like that it’s not a stark white and also has some luminosity to it.

It reminds me a bit of lavender color correctors, but it looks fun on the lower lash line. Heartless has been a definite go to for me.

I love the UD liners. There is something for everyone. I’d buy the “vault” if I won the lottery … it’s the stuff of dreams.
