T3 Elevate Heat-Seeking Iron Volumizer: A Haiku Review

June 22nd, 2010 by Karen 31 Comments

t3 elevate review

T3 Elevate
Heat-Seeking Volumizer
Nineteen bucks ain’t cheap

Hair can appear flat
When flat irons work too well
That’s why you exist

Said to boost volume
When sprayed on limp or thin hair
Either wet or dry

Comb from roots to ends
Then bust out the flat iron
I tried it on mine…

My ‘do was straight — yes
But felt hella crunchy, too
As for volume? Meh

I think I’ll stick to
Straight Sexy Hair Flat Iron
For smooth, shiny locks

MBB Rating…
C 🙂

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

haha those were some good haikus ( i think…if I remember my haikus right) lol. but I actually got the T3 Elevate for my bday and I’d never heard of it before, but I can tell you this much: it’s useless! Have u ever tried Sally Hershberger’s Style Primer? Ive used it a few times, and i don’t know maybe it’s just me but it kinda left my hard dry and crunchy..any1 else tried it?

      I haven’t tried that one!

If you flat iron often the Straight Sexy Hair product might be worth your time. I loooove it! The only thing is it’s hard to find.

I completely agree Karen. T3 makes great dryers even if they are way too expensive. I don’t like their styling products at all.

      Hi Sarahc,

I’m a huge, HUGE fan of T3 appliances, so I was really hoping to love this.

I got this for $5.99 at Marshalls the other day! I have only used it once. My hair feels ok, I also used other stuff in my hair prior to blow drying, so once I used this to flat iron, I am not sure which of the products made my hair shiny. I dont feel like its crunchy though….but then again, I didnt spray alot of it on. I am going to have to try it a few mor times before I can officially give it a thumbs up or down! haha

You are so creative !!! Sad tho that the thing-o doesnt work. Im still using the Phyto Straightening Balm (I just got the travel tube and it lasts forevarrr!!!) … its okay. Not earth shattering great but it works. I still prefer the Fekkai Ironless Balm. That is an awesome product … no flat ironing needed! 🙂

      Hi Nina,

I feel the same way about the Phyto balm. That line does make some great shampoos and conditioners, though.

I haven’t tried the Fekkai stuff yet… right now I’m stuck on their Summer Hair products. LOVE THEM!

Fekkai products are pretty awesome arent they? I also like that they came up with a mid price line thats sold at some grocery/drug stores. Kinda makes them more approachable. 🙂

        I did get a Phyto shampoo/conditioner together w/ the balm – and yep they are great… 🙂

I’ve a few of their styling items and like them a lot. I’ve still yet to try their shampoos/conditioners (I’m more of a Bumble kinda girl).

It’s been years since I’ve used a Phyto shamp/cond… do they still come in those nice glass bottles?

I got this for $5.99 too at Marshall’s it works with my cheap flat iron from Target. Maybe I don’t mind this spray too much because I didn’t pay full price for it. Ha sorry!
