The New NARS Sculpting Multiples: Twice as Nice and Coming Soon to Sephora

July 18th, 2016 by Karen 15 Comments

From the left, that’s the new NARS Sculpting Multiples in Copacabana / Sidari Beach, Hot Sand / Laguna and Playa Flamenco / Oahu ($39 each)

The new $39 NARS Sculpting Multiples are twice as nice, because you get, not one, but two shades in each stick — two shades of creamy NARS Mutiple goodness, which you can wear on your eyes, your cheeks, your lips, or to sculpt and highlight yo’ face.

A regular single NARS Mulitple stick also sells for $39, so these are double-your-pleasure duos.

One of the shades in each duo is a lighter shade for highlighting, and the other is a darker shade for contouring.

I’m not really a big contour-er (is that a word?), but if you are, that’s what the darker shades are for. Me? I’m more about the highlight (although I will also play with the countour shades too). 🙂

I love the NARS Multiples in general because they have that subtle illuminating magic that naturally brightens without looking super greasy or shiny, so when you use them you end up looking like you just left J. Lo and Jessica Alba’s personal facialist, and she did WORK on your skin. I absolutely love that kind of glow.

The Sculpting Duos come in three versions — Copacabana/Sidari Beach (a shimmery, silvery pink with a rosy bronze), Hot Sand/Laguna (a peachy champagne with a bronzy brown) and Playa Flamenco/Oahu (a sparkling, soft gold with a deep bronze).

Keep a look out for ’em starting July 21. Maybe I’ll see you then at Sephora. 🙂

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

Ooo…these look handy for weekend trips. Also, is it just me or does Laguna in the Sculpting Multiple look darker, more cool toned and less golden? Regardless, it looks gorgeous!

Multiple multiples?! I’m in! Hot sand is so pretty-I’ve always swatched but never bought. I have a zillion permutations of Laguna but I’m sure there’s room for a cream formula, right?!

I only recently started to contour (baby weight made me do it, quicker than a diet), so I am not sure if I will get a lot of use out of these, but I will make sure to have a little swatch when I meet them.

I have never used Nars Multiples. The lightest shade with the Copacabana looks like it would suit me well. I just got a contouring/highlighting stick from Maybelline but I haven’t used it yet.

I have the new Powder contours on their way to me now, but these looks so versatile. They’re not as orange/warm as the ones from Dior for fall either. Looking promising!

I might have to get hot sand/ laguna because the lightest shade looks like two highlighters! The “contour” shade is lighter than Copacabana too.

You could definitely use them as highlighters. Hope you like ’em!

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
