Milani Introduces Two New Glitzy Glamour Glosses, Fresh From the Watermelon Patch

A gloss with a creamy consistency and a formula that feels as light as a feather? — where?

Right here? You’re saying both of the two new additions to the Milani Glitzy Glamour Gloss line have both, and they only cost $7 apiece?

Tell. Me. More. 🙂

Between both of these shades — High Stats (a shimmery warm pink a la MAC Nymphette) and Show Stopper (a bright rosy pink) — and my MAC Cremesheen Glasses, I may never have to pick cat fur out of my gloss ever again (#catladyproblems).

Glitzy Glamour feels almost like a liquid lipstick! So smooth and buttery…

Applying a single silky coat with the included doe-foot applicator is almost as satisfying as a Snickers bar (or kissing Tabs’ tum).

If you can, though, sniff it first, because the sticky sweet scent is the subject of intense debate (like the eternal question — vampires vs. werewolves?). Folks seem to either love it or hate it.

My basset hound-like sense of smell detects some unusual scents behind an iron curtain of watermelon hard candy, like heart-shaped diaries, Justin Bieber’s hair clippings and sparkly purple gel ink pens.

Yeah…not my favorite.

Thankfully, for sensitive sniffers, the formidable fragrance and faux watermelon flavor fade after about 10 minutes.

The Milani Glitzy Glamour Glosses in High Stats and Show Stopper

  • The two newest shades in Milani’s permanent Glitzy Glamour Gloss line
  • Limited wear time. Both only last about two hours on my lips and don’t stand up well to food and drink, so frequent touch-ups are required
  • Yay for flexibility! Both pink shades should work well with subdued, and bold eye looks
  • Best for gloss gals who like lightweight, non-sticky glosses with lots of pigment…and cloying watermelon flavors and scents

PRICE: $7 each
AVAILABILITY: Available now at CVS/Pharmacy stores and milani.com

Im not so picky about the smell usually but with the flavor..gawwd! If a lipstick or lipgloss taste awful, I can’t stand it.. no matter how pretty it looks, it will go straight to the trash bin 🙁 I hope these doesnt taste like how they smell

Showstopper is beautiful! I actually like when lip products have sweet food like scents.

Such lovely colors! But any flavor that feels synthetic, that makes me do the double take! But my Milani 3D Glitzy gloss is sans any smell or flavor.

This post made me chuckle, because i was thinking about Milani glosses y’day :).

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
