Guerlain Holiday 2015 Winter Fairy Tale Collection Highlights

October 7th, 2015 by Karen 20 Comments

A couple of holiday-infused highlights from the Guerlain Holiday 2015 Winter Fairy Tale collection coming to select Guerlain counters at Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Sephora, Bloomingdales and Dillard’s stores October 15

“SNOW DAY!”

Two words I have never spoken in my life, although I’ve always wanted to, but growing up here in this part of California, the only snow we get is on TV, except for the fake kind they use at the mall by the scary Santa…

No offense to any mall Santas out there, but the ones I remember were terrifying! They were just so big and loud and red and sweaty…

Wait — what were we talking about?

Oh, yeah! Guerlain…

I look forward to Guerlain’s holiday launches all year long, and the theme of this year’s is why I said “SNOW DAY!” Guerlain says that quiet winter nights and glistening snowflakes were the inspiration for this year’s Winter Fairy Tale collection, which is all very nice.

Here’s a look at two of what I think are going to be the big highlights from the eight-piece launch, the Meteorites Perles Des Neiges ($80) and the two-tiered Eye & Blush Palette ($90), and there’s a lot more info in the video at the top.

The collection also includes two pressed powders (one bronzer and one highlighter), two glosses, a lipstick and a nail polish, all of which will be sledding up to select Guerlain counters in Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Sephora, Bloomingdales and Dillard’s stores October 15.

I still can’t believe we’re seriously talking about the holidays already, but here we are! I don’t know whether to say happy Halloween or Merry Christmas, haha.

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

You did so well with the name of the Météorites Karen! Glad I could help 🙂
I really love them this year, the snow globe packaging is so incredibly beautiful! The price hurts though, I’ll put them on my list for Santa and hope that they’re still available when he goes out shopping…

I’ve always loved the look of Guerlain Meteorites. It’s a fun way to do highlighter.

Speaking of French pronunciation, once we had a customer looking for “Channel No 5.” *shakes head*

I’m dying over the Météorites, with the packaging and the little snowflake stars. I can’t do the heavy Guerlain fragrance, and the price is a bit much for me, but it’s just so pretty and elegant and luxe. I want it.

One- we get to read your lovely creative writing. Two- we get to see you on the ‘Tube with funny endings. That’s two for two in my book. I may not be able to pronounce anything in this collection (heck, I can barely pronounce the name of the brand) but one day, a tube of his lipstick shall be mine. Oh, and Merry Halloween & Happy Christmas. Or something like that. 🙂

The meteorites are on the way to me right now…I have bought one every holiday every year since the Crazy Paris collection. I am making it a tradition lol. These are gorgeous! The packaging is amazing and I love the little star shapes!!

I can’t believe it’s holiday time… I’m still trying to make it through Halloween. Lol

This really is one of the most beautiful collections released this year. I’d love the Meteorites- if only they weren’t that expensive!!

I love your classy look- stripes with the pearls, goes so well with chic Guerlain makeup!

Wow, the packaging is absolutely beautiful! And the Meteorites look amazing, but wouldn’t it be a bit hard to use?!

I’d love to see the LE Rouge G lipstick too, will you have a review of it as well? I can’t find any swatches online. 🙁

No plans as of yet to review the shade. I’ll let you know if that changes though!

That snow globe highlighter might very well be the most beautiful makeup product I’ve ever seen! The way it looks when you put it right in front of the light… GORGEOUS! I wish Santa had unlimited budget 😉

What an echanting collection, aaaaaaah! All the products are just so so soooooo pretty and precious. But yes, very expensive indeed… I just love that snowglobe jar! As for the eye & blush palette, well, I liked last year’s better I think, but this one is still very very pretty. Love that the shimmer is pearly instead of frosty.

I am so easy to please. Traditional holiday packaging, gorgeous colors, on the neutral side, and very spendy products. What’s not to love? HAHA! As for snow days, all the folks of my age lament that we almost never had them, despite storms that dumped feet of snow on us. The kids now’a’days (wink, wink) have snow days based on the FORECAST of possible snow. And you know how often the forecasts are correct. Lucky, little ducks! 🙂

We get snow here, but I´d love to have one of the meteorite snowflake things. Not for use, just because it is so pretty!

It all looks beautiful and I will be buying as usual, I wish Guerlain had released a spray shimmer powder in this range. I can see it now, beautiful frosted white spray bottle, gold pump and tassel with a beautiful frosty, glittery, silver and gold spray….sigh….Scented with Shalimar….

Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a.
