Beauty Retail Therapy for $10 or Less: Pacifica Solid Perfumes

pacifica tuscan blood orange solid perfume review

Next time you find yourself on the heels of one of *those* days (mine tend to happen when PMS and work deadlines collide, argh!) and need to relieve some pressure with a little beauty retail therapy, check out these $9 Pacifica Solid Perfumes. Each of the tiny tins houses an organic balm of soy and coconut waxes in one of 21 Pacifica scents. Great for dabbing on wrists or your neck for an affordably fragrant boost!

I think my favorite one, Blood Orange, not only smells like its namesake but also plays notes of mandarin, strawberry and raspberry…

They’re an affordable indulgence (sometimes, that’s all it takes to turn around a really bad day), and they get the Tabs stamp of approval, too, since they aren’t tested on animals and contain no animal products.

Choose from a wide selection of Pacifica fragrances in floral, fruity, spicy and woody scents. Available at Sephora and Whole Foods stores or online at pacificaperfumes.com. Makeup and Beauty Blog Rating: A+

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

There is a vanilla blend, but I don’t see strawberry. Here’s the link to their site (spray fragrance section).

I have this and love it! I keep it in my purse for those days when I forgot to apply perfume, or my perfume has worn off. It hasn’t melted, smells amazing, and is so inexpensive.

I keep one in my purse, too! I have the Bali Lime Papaya, and it is an instant pick-me-up on a crappy day.

I love this scent!!!! 10gram is pretty a lot. But the size is so small and handy. Definitely more practical to be toting around this little tin than a tube of the body butter (if it’s for the scent). The 5oz. tube of body butter in Tuscan Blood Orange which I have now is quite handy to carry around too.

I love how handy these are and I don’t need to worry about spilled perfumes. I have the Mexican Cocoa, which I really like but the solid perfumes are not as long lasting as their perfume sprays.

I second this post!!! I love these solid perfumes. While they do not last too long, or are too strong, I find them perfect for keeping in my drawer at work as a pick me up! I like the $16 travel kits which come with a solid perfume, travel sized lotion, a candle and adorable matches! I recommend the Hawaiian Ruby Guava, Brazilian Mango Grapefruit, and the Malibu Lemon Blossom!

I JUST bought the Guava one and LOVE the smell, but it doesn’t last very long. The next time I am at Sephora I’m planning to purchase the lotion and spray perfume. The smell is AMAZING.

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
