Three things that take a Saturday from good to great: coffee in my mug, a cat on my lap and two uninterrupted hours of random web surfing. 🙂

Before you roll out to watch Hot Tub Time Machine (which is on my to-do list, fo’ reals), pull up a chair, and let’s do some surfing. C’mon, you’ll have fun!

  • Lipstick Queen’s Discovery Kit ($48) comes with three bestsellers in red, nude and fuchsia
  • Get a look at all the makeup that comes with Ulta’s 69-piece Beauty School Blockbuster ($19), WOW!
  • Smashbox says their Limitless Eye Liner ($19) won’t smudge or budge for up to eight hours

Stop motion rawks

Argh! I can’t get this song out of my head

Enjoy the rest of your Saturday! I’ve got a date with a Hot Tub Time Machine. 🙂

I first heard Keisha Tik Tok when I was on my honeymoon driving from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon in November, what a blast!! Anytime I hear it now, it reminds me of those good times. Song only arrived here in South Africa recently, VERy behind the times!!!

Loved your hair from the Blo Bar Karen, looked really great. Happy Easter!!

Can I just say that I haaaaaaaaaaate KeSHIFTKEYa (tm Fug Girls) with a white hot burning passion? I go back and forth on the song, but I did see her on The Tonight Show (this was one week before Conan was fired by NBC) – she sounded terrible live AND was totally wasted the whole time. And don’t get me started on how she allegedly didn’t get any money from Flo Rida for singing on “Right Round”…

    Aherm.

Topic: Those Urban Decay glosses are hawt… too bad we don’t have ’em here in the P.I. (as far as I know) because those half-naked dudes would be hilarious! 😉 Also, I’m actually a tad jealous that you’ll get to see Hot Tub Time Machine before I do! Let us know if it’s any good.

I have no idea who she is, but the song is kinda catchy.

Hot Tub Time Machine was actually pretty good for what it was! I thought it was pretty darn funny, and Motley Crue’s Home Sweet Home was played a bunch of times!

Yay, Motley Crue! It’s going to be a while before Hot Tub comes out in my neck of the woods… but if it’s pretty good for what it is, then I’m all for it! Sometimes I just need to laugh 😀

Between this and the new A-Team movie, I think I have a lot of non-serious movies to look forward to this year 😉

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
