I look forward to this collection every year. I MUST have the eye shadow palette even though it’s very similar to last years. That rollerball sure takes me back to my high school days–my favorite was strawberry. When I think about it now they were uber goopy and sticky! The glow on your cheeks is beautiful!
Cindy (Prime Beauty) recently posted … Review: Vanessa Williams ReVitalistic Skincare Discovery Kit Hit or Miss?
Hi Cindy,
The RollerBall takes me back too! This one’s really elegant (for a rollerball, LOL!). The texture’s not too sticky or heavy, and the rollerball has this nice cooling effect on my lips. I think you’ll like it. 🙂
Do you have any of the Bronze Goddess scents? I have a skin oil from a few years ago that I still love to bits.
OMG that was my first thought too! Ahhhh, I wonder if it tastes like sweet sticky nondescript fruit too!
And Karen, that turquoise color looks great on you – what a nice pop of color.
Thanks, JCZ. Do you think you might pick anything up from this launch?
Happy Friday!
Oh man, that illuminating powder looks AWESOME. I don’t need any more highlighters, but it’s gorgeous.
Hi Chelsea,
It’s SO, SO pretty. It has a sorta peachy tint to it from some angles, too. Not to be your pusher or anything, LOL!
I’m picking something up at Chanel once it gets in, I can always visit my friend Selly at Estee Lauder at the same time!
Ooh, whatcha getting? I have to swing by the counter soon. I’ve been itching to dry the Double Perfection Lumiere.
I was going to get a Rouge Coco Shine in Boy, but I’m reconsidering – it’s way too close to my own lip color to justify the $$$. I think I’ll end up with an Illusion D’Ombre (not sure what color). I’ve been eyeing those since they first arrived (I worked at Lancome at the time, so I’d go over and play with those in my free time, LOL!)
Boy is a cool color, but yeah, if you’re gonna go there with Chanel, might as well get something that knocks your socks off.
Let me know what Illusion D’Ombre you get! I have a pinky/peach one that I love. Wear it all the time when I don’t want to bust out the brushes. LAZY!!!
YAY! This post just got me SO ready for Summer!! 😀 Wow, all the products look really really pretty! I definitely need to check out those new Goddess bronzing powders and I don’t wear liquid liner often but that Black Sands duo is *stunning* (I really just want it for the bronze side!!). The highlighter is gorgeous–love the embossing–but it seems like it might be a tad bit too metallic maybe? I’ll have to swatch and see!

Hi Becca,
It can go very metallic if you build it up, which is what I did for these pics. A lighter touch and it’s more nuanced.
Whoaaa you’re gorgeous and I can’t wait for summer!!! The quint looks amazing! I’ll definitely check it out when it’s available here (though the EL SPRING basically JUST came out here, so I might have quite a while to wait)! The liquid eyeliners look promising too. Might not be a fan of the roller ball gloss. It reminds me of something I owned as an 11-year-old, but I might be a bit too old for that now!

Hi Sunny,
I was worried about that too, but it’s actually very elegant!
This collection looks beautiful. The illuminating powder looks so beautiful. And the bronzer too! And I cannot wait to smell the new fragrance.
Me too. I bet it will smell like the beach (take me away!!). Are you still wearing your Lancome scent, btw? These days I’m all about Dolce & Gabbana Desire.
Yes, I am. It’s gorgeous but currently I am lusting after Guerlain’s La Petite Robe…It smells so good but it’s also extra pricey!
Woahhhhh, you could hear me expressing my jy miles away I think ;-)))
I need 3 of this collection AT LEAST!!!!!
Do you know when it comes to the stores??
Hi Viriginie,
As far as I know it’s just sometime in March.
Glad to hear you’re liking this one too! It’s so pretty.
Summer collections like this are my favorite! Although I’ve never purchased anything from EL’s summer lines, I always love looking at them on the counter. I agree with everyone else about the illuminating powder, pretty!

Hi Kalli,
Me too! All the teals, golds, bronzes… LOVE IT!
You’re photos are fantastic! EL should hire you because you are making me want all of this collection!
Thanks, Kristina! What are your favorite bits from the launch so far? I’m all about the gloss and the eye palette.
Goodness, that eyeshadow palette just makes me think of a summer vacation in Greece! I could use some of that right about now… *wistful sigh*

I could use a month on the beach right now, for reals!
OH my goodness, roller balls. In middle school my friends and I were OBSESSED with the super-scented, super-sweet roller glosses from Victoria’s Secret. I’m going to have to get my hands on this one, for nostalgia’s sake!
Rollerball gloss!!! Love it haha! I’ll wear it proudly with some Love’s Baby Soft or Charlie! fragrances haha!
I think it’ll be awhile before we see this here though-I haven’t even seen the Spring stuff yet! But I do look forward to this collection every year!

Now this was visual treat to eyes… loved the palette, nail polish and the illuminating gelee. Waiting for it to launch in India soon…. <3
Loved the second pic from bottom, in which you are showing off your nails, very much mag cover types… 😀 😀
You look like a pretty mermaid wearing this collection! Everything, especially the eye palette has lovely colors perfect for summer. 😀 I also really like the roller ball gloss- that’s always fun!
Wow! That eyeshadow palette is so pretty and summery! Love the look you did with it too.

Karen- I wish I had your bronze goddess skintone, because this collection looks as if it was made for you! You look glorious in these shades! not to mention great in a swimsuit, too-jealous!!! I am way too pale for most of this, but I lust after it every year. I will definitely pick up that nail lacquer in Hot Spell(I keep reading Hot FLASH- but that’s another story) it is completely gorgeous for Spring or Summer! and it seems they up their game each time with the eyeliner. This one looks so tempting. Great swatches, thanks for the preview.
Hi Lorraine,
You’re welcome. So, the bronze side of that liner is really fierce! Super shiny and very fun. You will love “Hot Flash” (LOL!). One coat coverage, dries fast, and it’s super shiny.
Love the looks you created. I will probably pick up a few things from this line even though I am fair. EL has some really good quality cosmetics and I have an awesome EL rep to sell them to me.
Dang! I just ordered the Heat Wave gelee….i collect these….they are so beautiful….ugh i must stop buying makeup!
Drat, I wasn’t that keen on the palette but it looks so pretty on you Karen! I love the way you have used the blue. Heat Wave is definitely calling to me. And the roller glosses are super fun but I hated how the ball used to get gritty and dirty, although perhaps that is because I kept them in my pocket at school even during sport! Do you think the eyeliner duo is worth the money? Thanks for posting swatches so quickly!
I think I may end up buying my very first Estee Lauder products ever. I love the gelee/extra dimension formula!!
Im definately getting the quint, but I have a question about the cheek highlighter. How does it compare to MAC’s Whisper of Gilt or Superb?
Hi Karen! How many oz is the black sands liner? Just wondering if it’s worth the price.
Hi Karen,
This might be my first ever Estee Lauder eyeshadow for me. The color combination is so stunning! Lovee the pairing of turquoise and neutral colors together, so sexy and chic!
