Essie Mega Mini Treasures: Great Gift for Your BFF

December 3rd, 2008 by Karen 17 Comments

If it weren’t for Essie’s hot holiday collection, I might actually feel the cold this winter. Their Winter 2008 Collection totally rocks, and now they’re coming at me with the Mega Mini Treasures set ($15). Way to go, Essie!

It comes with mini-bottles of Essie polish (0.16-fl oz each) in four easy-to-wear shades…

  • Imported Champagne: metallic golden beige
  • Jelly Apple: creamy red
  • Berry Hard: creamy dark berry
  • Pink Glove Service: creamy translucent petal pink

What do you think of the red case? Looks like a nice stocking stuffer, right? You don’t even have to wrap it! Just pop on a ribbon and voila… regular Santa’s little helper. 🙂

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

    Hi Yadiq,

I really love it! I like that the color has warmth and it’s not too milky looking. I totally agree that it would be so cute with a French manicure!

I am feeling a little better today. I haven’t been good about exercising and that seems to affect my mood… gotta get back on track. Must. Go. Running.

    How are you doing? 🙂

    Hi Yadiq,

OH! Cherry Pop sounds really pretty. There’s a beauty store right around the corner so I will have to go hunting. 🙂

I hope your procedure goes smoothly… after it’s done I think you should treat yourself to the healing powers of Chanel.

I’ll keep my chin up if you do the same. It’s getting cold out but I made myself run anyway. I am feel much better.

Pink glove service is AMAZING! Can I buy it separately? The other colors don’t do much for me.

My bag arrived today btw! I am in LOVE. I’m gonna take some pictures tomorrow. 😀

    Hi Ellery,

Yes, you can! Here’s a link to the individual polish — Pink Glove Service.

YAY! I can’t wait to see pictures of your new MJ cutie. Did you put your stuff in it yet? It looks like it holds a ton!

    Hi Sleepy,

I think they purposefully put in wearable and not crazy shades… I like these because they’re so tiny! I have an addiction to mini-polishes. 🙂

Berry Hard looks like THE perfect berry I’ve been looking for! And I adore shades like Imported Champagne and Pink Glove Service. I’m definitely going to have to go to Nordstrom’s soon or something.

    I totally hear you on the running… but I’m so lazy… =(

    Hi Catherine,

    Yay! There’s something about a deep, rich berry color… I feel like it’s a classic. 🙂

Ugh, it’s getting harder to get myself outside with the weather getting colder. I wish I had a treadmill! It would make it a billion times easier. How long have you been running for?

Karen- the Essie colors rock, however my manicurist is a male and he will flip because the bottles are so small!

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
