Set Phasers on Mineralized! The MAC Heavenly Creature Collection Shoots for the Shimmery Stars

Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the Starship MAC Heavenly Creature. Its mission: to explore celestial shimmer, to seek out soft, glowing skin and gorgeous galaxies of color, to boldly go where no woman has gone before!

Long-range scanners reveal a 35-piece planetary formation with forests of Duo Fibre brushes and mountains of Mineralize makeup and skin care. At our current speed and heading, we should intercept the collection, which is available now online, in the North American Nebula, orbiting above MAC counters and stores July 5, and internationally later the same month.

Like Captain James T. Kirk, the collection is impossibly good looking.

According to the ship’s manifest, our cargo includes…

Nine Mineralize Eye Shadows ($20 each), four Mineralize Skinfinishes ($29 each), four Mineralize Blushes ($23.50 each), five Lipsticks ($14.50 each), five Cremesheen Glasses and False Lash Mascara, the 187 Duo Fibre Face Brush ($42), 188 Small Duo Fibre Face Brush ($34) and 286 Duo Fibre Tapered Blending Brush ($34) brush, Mineralize Charged Water Cleanser ($23), Mineralize Charged Water Moisture Gel ($37), Moisture Eye Cream ($35) and Mineralize Volcanic Ash Exfoliator ($28).

Captain’s log, stardate 2012.28.6

I put on my moon boots this afternoon and beamed down to the planet’s surface with Science Officer Tabs and 10 crewmen from the marble-ous collection.

Wow, that pop of blue on your eyes looks awesome! For some reason, I always feel like I just can’t pull off blue…unless it’s a very dark navy smudged just into the upper lash line.

Thanks Rita! LOL…I watched a lot of old school Star Trek when I was a kid, and Voyager in the 90s. 🙂 Remember Data’s cat?

I’m digging Center of the Universe too. Are you wearing it as blush or highlighter?

Blush!!! With a bit of a cream blush thats close to CotU’s color, its works as a light peach blush thats summery and pretty!

Im bummed I cant do Mineralized Eye Shadows and Blush — I wanted Water and Supernova.

Oh im seriously considering the Charged Water Cleanser — any thoughts? If I dont find a good one at the asian grocery store tonight. Charged Water might be my best bet!

        and TGIF!!!

Love the eye look! Blue looks so pretty on you! Meteoric is a lovely lipcolor btw :). I have never tried the mineralized blushes/skinfinishes from MAC-are these sparkle city, or subtle shimmer ?

You do have that galactic sparkle! 🙂 I hope you reminded Tabs not to wear a red shirt on the planet. I realize that he’s one of the stars, but these days you just never know who’s going to be killed down there.

PS As I’m sure you guessed, I had a hard time looking away from the Star Trek pics to check out the makeup.

BTW- I thougth I noticed that your highlight was pink a couple of days ago but here it looks blonde?
I was loving the pink but am wondering if you are doing some sort of secret temporary color for it- if so, for the love of god, please share!

    Hi,
I’ve been checking out your site for quite a while and I have to write this time. You always have such a great take on makeup collections! When I say the Mac WonderWoman write up you did I just love it; and with this one, well, I just had to compliment you! Thanks for showing the world that women who love makeup are also intelligent and witty!

PS You look great with this collection.

    Pat

Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick.
