Look No Further for Your Perfect Summer Lipstick! The MAC Huggable Lipcolours Are All You Need

I’ve taken a break from the heavy makeup lately, honestly, probably out of pure laziness (pregnancy saps my energy), but I’m kind of digging it! On days that I actually put on makeup, it’s usually dewy skin that showcases my new summer freckles, brows and winged liner (because I will always wear winged liner), some mascara, and an easy-to-wear lipstick like these $14 MAC Huggable Lipcolours.

The MAC Huggable Lipcolours ($14 each)

You know those lipsticks that feel so good to put on that you can sit there for a few minutes and just smear them all over your face? These Huggable Lipcolours feel like that to me.

Weird, I know, but don’t judge me. They just feel so good!

They feel almost like a really luxurious, comfortable lip balm, and with a nice amount of color payoff, they’re the perfect lipsticks to keep in your bag and pop on throughout the day, whether you’re wearing more makeup or not.

I also have to commend MAC on the packaging. The gunmetal tube feels so heavy and expensive. I like it a lot more than MAC’s standard plastic lipstick packaging.

I really can’t believe you get such an amazing product and impressive packaging for only $14. That seems like such a good deal to me!

There are 20 colors to choose from, and I have six of them here.

These truly are THE BEST summer lipsticks! I always tell you guys the truth, but trust me extra this time. I think anyone would love these lipsticks. They make your lips look all plump and kissable (says my husband) and add lots of moisture, too.

Do any of these catch your eye? Bonsai Bloom, Seoul-ful, and What A Feeling! have to be my favorites.

Ah, who am I kidding? I love them all!

Hi, beautiful! I’m Jen from Jen Leigh Beauty. Now, rather than just talking to myself about makeup, I write it down in a blog. Besides being madly in love with anything I can smear on my face (and sharing pics on Instagram), I’m more in love with my hunky husband, my sweet 2-year-old, and my fluffy fur baby. Thank goodness they put up with the madness, because I love chatting about my favorite things with people who understand the addiction.

These all look fabulous on you, but Origami Orange caught my eye in particular.

And I didn’t think Bonsai Bloom would be so sheer on your lips. It just goes to show that swatching is really important.

This is such a lovely palette of colors and quite like my kind of colors! $14 is impressive. I might want to check these out. They remind me Lakme India’s Absolute Gloss Addict Lipsticks and the color selection also kind of matches up. ( I have completely used up two of those. *pat on the back* )

I just tried my first Huggable Lipcolour a couple weeks ago (I ordered one of the shades that were on sale) and I absolutely love the formula! I regret not trying it earlier!

Oh, these colors look lovely! And the packaging looks very nice as well. Does it show fingerprints very easily?

Pardon me, but what’s in the tube doesn’t look like what’s on your lips at all! Only Origami Orange comes a lil’ close.

I believe these shades are $20, not $14. There are a bunch from the previous collection that went on sale for $14 and I got a few and I’m absolutely loving them as well. They really feel great on. You can find a $14 shades if you look for the “goodbye” section At Mac, and price matched at Macy’s and Nordstrom as well. Very happy I found these! I guess I’m gonna wait until these shades go on sale to get more of their gorgeous is well.

Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a.
