MAC Vintage Grape is looking pretty good, but it doesn’t have special exterior packaging, so it’s an easy skip for me. =)

      Hi Lulee,

I think they might be having a sheer moment. Sometimes I find it easier to work sheerer shadows, so we’ll see!

I’m not even going to lie, I want Red Dwarf, Nebula, Warp Speed, Aurora and Borealis simply because I have a degree in Astrophysics. It’s like the space nerd Gods and the makeup Gods threw this together just to make me buy them. Damn them! (And it will probably work….)

I worked for MAC for 7 years so it takes a lot for me to get excited and this collection is exciting to me. I like that every color in the quad is wearable! The blushes look fab also. Can’t wait to see this in person

Despite being warm-toned, I am a sucker for anything pink! I love the looks of this collection, but I’ll have to try them in-store before I buy, to be safe. I do love the look of Vintage Grape, and the description of Borealis sounds like something I’d like.

Yippee!!! Finally a collection to suit my NC20 skin!! And that quad, oh my. Finally a set with great eyeshadow finishes! I AM NOT a fan of Frosts and Lustres. Last quad I bought was from the champale collection, and I’ve been butt hurt ever since. LOL

I didn’t think I would want them, but I kind of like Red Dwarf and Approaching Storm lipstick. They suit the holiday vibe at the moment. I want to get Nebula, but I have to admit I am getting a bit tired of really dark, almost black pigments from MAC.

    Hey Karen-

Hope life is well with you Karen!! Two quick notes: I think the Too Chis Beauty Powder is supposed to be in the Iris Apfel collection coming January 5th. Also, next to Interior Life shadow you have Veluxe Pearl listed as the finish, but it actually just a Veluxe finish, so it is mostly matte.

I am very excited for this collection. I usually wear liner, lipstick, and gloss so I think Warp Speed will be great over a colored liner like Etcetera and with a colored gloss over, like Richer Lusher cremesheen gloss.

To anyone wondering about this… this collection is best to see in person if you can! I went to a MAC today and let the SA go wild with this line. She did my eyes in a feathered smoky look from lighter under the brow to dark across the lid, and it looks amazing against my green eyes. She also did my lips with Warp Speed– which although silvery white in appearance– if you apply it with a brush, it gives a sheer shimmer to the lips and is definitely something I would never have thought would work for me until she tried it! I also picked up the Cremesheen glass in Japanese Spring which the SA layered on top to give me a touch of pink color. It’s such a great look, and I am excited to play more with the quad. I also loved the blush in Vintage Grape, so I need to pick that up eventually. Definitely go see these beauties in person if you can– and play a bit! I’m glad that I did!
