MAC Vintage Grape is looking pretty good, but it doesn’t have special exterior packaging, so it’s an easy skip for me. =)

The eyeshadow quad also looks bland and easily dupable.
holy crap pigmentation batman! (for the quad).
mac’s quality control dept seems to be reeeeeeeally lax these days with their standards.
Hi Lulee,
I think they might be having a sheer moment. Sometimes I find it easier to work sheerer shadows, so we’ll see!
That ombre blush is amazingly cool looking!

Azalea Blossom and Too Chic look amazing!! Me wanna buy already, haha. I wish you showed a little sneak of the polishes.

I’m not even going to lie, I want Red Dwarf, Nebula, Warp Speed, Aurora and Borealis simply because I have a degree in Astrophysics. It’s like the space nerd Gods and the makeup Gods threw this together just to make me buy them. Damn them! (And it will probably work….)
I worked for MAC for 7 years so it takes a lot for me to get excited and this collection is exciting to me. I like that every color in the quad is wearable! The blushes look fab also. Can’t wait to see this in person
Vintage Grape blush looks nice and Red Dwarf lip creme. The rest is underwhelming…
Meh. Nothing appeals to me.
I love red dwarf and approaching storm. Would love the peachy pink ombre back 🙁
Despite being warm-toned, I am a sucker for anything pink! I love the looks of this collection, but I’ll have to try them in-store before I buy, to be safe. I do love the look of Vintage Grape, and the description of Borealis sounds like something I’d like.
i am digging the quad … and nebula looks promising!
Those blush ombre’ are GORGE!!!

Yippee!!! Finally a collection to suit my NC20 skin!! And that quad, oh my. Finally a set with great eyeshadow finishes! I AM NOT a fan of Frosts and Lustres. Last quad I bought was from the champale collection, and I’ve been butt hurt ever since. LOL
I liked the pigment most .. 🙂

Vintage Grape is back? Mine mine mine! 😛
I really wish they included the ripe peach ombre blush in this collection.
It would be an instant best-seller.
is the ombre pattern on the blush entirely overspray or is it 2 toned all the way through?
So excited to get my hands on Azalea Blossom!

Hmm. Pretty meh. Havent been into the mac le’s lately…im def going to get chanel spring though…!!!
Is it me, or do these ombre blushes look reminiscent of the long anticipated, highly controversial, and never released MAC/Rodarte collection?
They are beautiful.
Loved Vintage grape and Red dwarf. The e/s quad doesn’t look so impressive.

Freaking out about the blushes right now! Might have to buy them both…. — ombre fiend 😉
Oooh Red Dwarf looks nice!
Those colours are gorgeous! Seriously, Helloooo Red Dwarf! Sadly they’re also all the colours I always love but never go with my skintone. I’ll still check them out at the airport counter next week (time to get some Phloof or Vanilla woohoo!)
The collection looks gorgeous!!!
I am setting my eyes on Nebula

This collection is a total pass for me.
It’s hard to resist anything called Warp Speed, but I think Approaching Storm is my favorite from the swatches. 🙂
Cute colors, but I’m not that excited for them. They’re all really bland to me and not very wearable for my skin tone. :((
So the colour payoff for the quad isn’t that great? Maybe Nebula would be a getter choice.
Vintage Grape looks really pretty both in the pot and in your swatch!

I want (need) Vintage Grape! I’m getting my paws on it as soon as I’m back in the US after holidays…
The sombre blush is so cool, and the powder is the perfect color for my pale skin!
i think it’s great. I really admire Daphne’s style. She is excentric in a good way, but I need to see the colours in real life. Unfortunately Europe has to wait till January.
I have Azalea Blossom from Spring Forecast and love it!
The rest of the collection…..meh….. 🙁

I like the look of Vintage grape but I’m not very excited with this collection like I thought I might be.
Karen, How many times a year do they jazz up the packaging?

Right now I’m only feeling Nebula pigment. That’s good news for my wallet.

Vintage grape is beautiful!
Im loving the blush ombres! Not sure if the lighter one would show up on my nc42 skin though/:
I didn’t think I would want them, but I kind of like Red Dwarf and Approaching Storm lipstick. They suit the holiday vibe at the moment. I want to get Nebula, but I have to admit I am getting a bit tired of really dark, almost black pigments from MAC.

Hey Karen-
Hope life is well with you Karen!! Two quick notes: I think the Too Chis Beauty Powder is supposed to be in the Iris Apfel collection coming January 5th. Also, next to Interior Life shadow you have Veluxe Pearl listed as the finish, but it actually just a Veluxe finish, so it is mostly matte.
I am very excited for this collection. I usually wear liner, lipstick, and gloss so I think Warp Speed will be great over a colored liner like Etcetera and with a colored gloss over, like Richer Lusher cremesheen gloss.
Pigment in Nebula for me, pretty please. For the rest I’m afraid the blushes are going to be a bit too cool for me. I need something a bit warmer for my cheeks… hehe.

To anyone wondering about this… this collection is best to see in person if you can! I went to a MAC today and let the SA go wild with this line. She did my eyes in a feathered smoky look from lighter under the brow to dark across the lid, and it looks amazing against my green eyes. She also did my lips with Warp Speed– which although silvery white in appearance– if you apply it with a brush, it gives a sheer shimmer to the lips and is definitely something I would never have thought would work for me until she tried it! I also picked up the Cremesheen glass in Japanese Spring which the SA layered on top to give me a touch of pink color. It’s such a great look, and I am excited to play more with the quad. I also loved the blush in Vintage Grape, so I need to pick that up eventually. Definitely go see these beauties in person if you can– and play a bit! I’m glad that I did!
