What Was the Last Face or Body Beauty Product You Finished?

March 27th, 2011 by Karen 83 Comments

I’m talking “down to the last drops, squeezing the life out of the tube, banging the bottle against the side of the sink” finished. Mine was this now unfortunate tube of Pacifica Malibu Lemon Blossom Body Butter. Yes, I cut it in half to extract every last drop (my precious!).

How about you? What was the last face or body beauty product you finished?

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

They are both about equally moisturizing but if you have oily skin I recommend the gel. I seem to breakout less with it.

I used the moisturizer forever, too. I’ve been using CeraVe for about a month now and like it even more (and no breakouts). If you’re ever looking for a new moisturizer, you might like this one. 🙂

Taffy-I have worked @ Clinique in the past & I always would suggest the gel bc it doesnt have the mineral oil in it. Minerl oil is horriable for your skin!!! So from now on I would highly suggest you switch to the gel-your skin will love you for it 🙂

That’s very interesting that you say that Amy! I’ve always used DDML but I guess I’m lucky because I’ve got great skin, especially for someone my age. 43 years old, no wrinkles and I don’t have breakouts. I might give the gel a try to see the difference but I seem to be doing ok so far. 🙂

Oh my gosh, I hardly ever finish anything. If I buy something I really like I end trying to hoard it and use it as little as possible because I’m afraid it will run out… even if it is readily available at stores to purchase again. I think I have a little OCD, haha.

Glad to know I’m not the only hoarder. Mine is half from buying something and then being scared to try it. And half from hoarding the ones I try and like. And then there are the ones I tried but didn’t like but keep anyway just in case. I just went through my face stuff and it was amazing how many containers I had laying around. 😉

Dirty Works Hot Salt Body Scrub – Doesn’t have loads of salt but has a lovely body mud consistency and that feels really good on a cold day. Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a.
