Two Ways to Win Philosophy Field of Flowers 3-in-1 Shower Gel

September 1st, 2009 by Karen 158 Comments

philosophy-field-of-flowers

Sometimes a bubble bath works wonders for the soul.

I remembered this while I was in the tub today, as I marinated in a mound of frothy bubbles long enough for my fingers and toes to resemble raisins.

My weapon of choice? Philosophy’s Field of Flowers 3-in-1 Shower Gel.

Its fresh, freesia scent and big, squishy bubbles — which seem to last forevah — cheer me up instantly and get me squeaky clean.

I’m thinking it’s time to spread the Philosophy Field of Flowers love, so how about another giveaway? 🙂

The prize

One lucky lady will take home one bottle of Philosophy Field of Flowers 3-in-1 Shower Gel (a $16 value).

How to enter…

Entering is easy. There are two different ways, and you can do both of them for two chances to win.

First, you can enter by leaving a comment at the bottom of this post — a comment about anything at all. Tell me about your day, what you’re eating for dinner or what makeup you’re wearing. 🙂

For dinner I’m eating portobello mushroom ravioli. Yum!

Follow me
Second, enter by following me on Twitter and retweeting (RT) the following message:

RT @karenmbb: RT to Win Philosophy Field of Flowers 3-in-1 Shower Gel http://bit.ly/14Zv0y

Recap…

  1. Enter by leaving a comment at the bottom of this post, and don’t forget to use a valid email address so I can reach you if you win.
  2. Follow me on Twitter and retweet the following message:

RT @karenmbb: RT to Win Philosophy Field of Flowers 3-in-1 Shower Gel http://bit.ly/14Zv0y

I’ll pick the winner at random from among the people who enter by 11:59 PM PST on Wednesday, September 2.

Kasmet!

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

I am soooo happy that my 13 year old daughter actually likes math class for once in many years. I moved her to another school within the district known for their math dept after she had two questionable math teachers in a row. She told me today that ‘she actually likes Algebra’ and her teacher “rocks”. She is in honor’s Algebra and I am so proud of her. Math is so important…and it is good to see her feeling empowered. Ok, just had to share:)

Today I went to uni, then checked out the new MAC goodies. Can you believe they bombarded us with Euristocrats 2, Naked Honey and Colour Craft, all at once? That equals a hole in my wallet, yo! I’m still deciding what to get… Oh and I fell in love…with Chartruse pigment.
BTW, your mushroom ravioli sound delicious, specially compared to my stingy green apple =)

I *LOVED* Bath and Body Works Flowering Herbs scent . . . I even stocked up on it when it was discontinued. It takes me back to being on spring break in high school and visiting my aunt and uncle in Santa Cruz with my family. It was one of the last vacations we all took together . . .

Sadly, my skin has turned sensitive in the past 10 years, and I cannot use my BBW products anymore.

The Philosophy products don’t set off my skin (at least not yet!), and I’ve heard that this scent is similar to my favorite BBW Flowering Herbs.

I would *love* to win this giveaway – help me travel back to a simpler time, when I was the student, and not the teacher 🙂

Yesterday when I was feeling down, I went to this outlet in my town and I bought two things that were there that I’ve wanted for awhile: MAC Ahoy, There! lipstick & Bobbi Brown blush in Sand Pink 1. My day is going well. This evening is going to be busy though. I have to paint my nails and toenails, finish laundry, clean my room, and pack my suitcase because I leave tomorrow to go to ATL with the boyf to visit his family. We’re there for like 5 days and he’s already started lecturing me not to overpack.

Well, Karen, I’ve been battling some massive lower back pain (doc thinks it’s a strained muscle), so I went to the chiropractor today. And I learned my kindergartner punched another boy and gave him a black eye because the little boy was picking on a little girl at school, so my little one went to her defense and the other little guy punched him first. So, overall, I’m actually not angry with my son, but can appreciate that he was trying to do the right thing and defend his friend and himself. What a day

hi, karen…this is my first time stumbling upon your blog. i love it (and my kitten, sushi, does too). Anyway i have a proposal for you, something i just started trying. i’ve had this little jar of HIGHLY PIGMENTED concealer from Kevyn Aucoin. the other day i took a tiny dab and mixed it with my kiehls moisturizer (side note: i’m in love with their amozonian clay line for deep cleansing). its a great DIY tinted moisturizer…especially for days when you’re not trying to look makeupped. my boyfriend freaks out when i wear any kind of powder (something about kissing my face), so having the tint gives me coverage and a glow and nobody knows! TRY IT.

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
