Tabs sure loves the rain. Most cats avoid it at all costs, but I think he finds something romantic and poetic about it.
Ever since he was a young cat, he’s loved traipsing about in the rain, and I know this because he used to be an indoor/outdoor cat, and every night he’d go tomcat-ing outside without fail. He never once looked out the door on a rainy night and went, “Nope, back inside.” In fact, whenever it was really stormy, he was even more excited to go out.
Which brings me to this collar. It’s his new Rubber Ducky Raindrop Collar, and it’s a celebration of rain, color and his love of playful silhouettes. He had it commissioned special, of course.
He hired an up-and-coming feline fashion designer, and apparently it’s so hush-hush that Tabs won’t even tell me the designer’s name.
I’ve been able to glean that somehow NASA was involved, though, because the material is waterproof, soil-repellent, weather-proof and cannot be chewed through in case an enemy attacks and goes for the jugular. It came via an experimental group that’s designing the outfits for the first Martian cat astronauts. 🚀
You think I’m kidding, but I couldn’t make this stuff up! 😊

Our cat really doesn´t like the rain much, he is just out for a quick supervision and then back in on the cushions. Though he prefers being indoors in general, especially if there are cushions.

I love his tooth in the picture of him with plants! What a nice collar! My cat is a nudist.
Yup, that’s a happy cat in the first picture. Look at that tail!
Tabs is stylish, as always. And it’s no surprise that he has an in with NASA. I’m sure he was instrumental in the spacesuit design!
