Just a quick check in before El Hub and I head down to the city for an early dinner. I thought it was gonna be sunnier today (like it was yesterday), but at least it isn’t raining. What’s shakin’ out your way?

At this moment, it’s not anymore… it kept snowing throughout the day though! Crazy. Totaled 12 inches!!

We started spring break over the weekend so I KNOWWWW I won’t be doing much this week. But get this — it’s supposed to be in the 50s tomorrow and 71 on Tuesday! What kind of wacko weather is this?

I have Pacifica’s Tahitian Gardenia candle and it smells SO GOOD even when it’s not lit. 🙂

Thanks for the links. Have fun in the city. Do you know where you guys are going to dinner? I love SF. Have you ever been to Slanted Door? It’s like Vietnamese fusion and great. Highly recommend it.

We ended up going to Harvey’s in the Castro. The food was pretty good, and the service/vibe was great!

It’s SNOWING in my neck o’ the woods. Seriously, I am so sick of snow! I’d take a tornado over this snow right about now.

I just ordered three more shirts from my favorite online shop. I hope to God it’ll be warm soon so I can wear them!

I have to type up a paper tomorrow. I so don’t feel like writing it write now!

New spring shirts are always fun. What do they look like?

      Good luck with your paper!

I got Abstract, Renny (in white) and Lots of Bows (in peach) from here->
        KLPigMentShop

I think I look at that site weekly. I have two other shirts from her. I wear one shirt so much that my mom teases me if I have any other shirts.

Thanks for the link love, girl! The weather over in my neck of the woods has been pretty erratic, too — it was gorgeous today (gorgeous enough to warrant an hour-long walk on my part,) but it dipped down to about -3 Celsius yesterday! (About 37 Fahrenheit.) Brrr :/

Soon enough it’ll be warm (hopefully!). How hot does it get up in your neck of the woods?

Speaking of snow, it’s the last day of my spring break and there is 6 inches of snow outside.

For the first day of Spring, we had thunderstorms, rain all day and temps in the 30s. So weird! It was a good weekend htough … pretty chill, which I like!

Oh no! I hope the weather is a little nicer today.

It’s a little cooler here, too… overcast and in the mid-60s.

      Happy Sunday!

The Korres products also do without silicones for all of their products. I’ve just converted to using their products and they’re great.

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
