You might be wondering, “So what in tarnation is this Monday Poll thing anyway!?”
Well, it isn’t exactly a poll. It’s more of a constantly evolving (devolving?), somewhat random list of questions I’ve been putting out to readers every Monday morning for the past seven years. (It’s like a kickstart for your brain.) I’ve always enjoyed reading your answers in the comments, and I hope you enjoy reading mine.
- You’d think I was crazy if you saw my __________.
Office, because it looks like a giant makeup-filled piñata exploded in the middle of the room…but there’s a method to the madness, I swear! - Something you’re constantly forgetting to do?
Turn. Off. The. Front. Porch. Light. In. The. Morning.Gah!
It’s not like I’m trying to remember complex chemistry equations, but you might think it based on how often I forget to do this one simple thing.
So, a few months ago there was an arsonist on the loose in our neighborhood. After a string of brush fires in residential areas and one fire right near someone’s front door, the local police and fire departments went door to door to educate residents and ask them to start leaving their porch lights on at night to discourage more criminal activity. It was a pretty scary time because we live in a high fire risk area with lots of open space with grassy fields and vegetation.
Anyway, I got really good about remembering to turn the light on before bed… Truth be told, El Hub usually does it. 🙂 But I always forget to turn the light off again in the morning, so sometimes it’ll be on for hours and hours during the day.
- What have you been reading these days?
Book-wise, I’m reading Daughter of Smokey and Bone, by Laini Taylor, for the second time because I just love the writing.I’ve also been reading lots of magazines, like Nylon, a beauty and fashion magazine with spunky, down-to-earth writing that isn’t super “magazine-y” or official. I think it’s written more for 20-somethings, which was a while ago for me, but I like the authenticity. They also devote a good chunk of each issue to beauty, which is a big plus!
I also like Entertainment Weekly for the movie, book, music and TV reviews. Gillian Flynn, the author of Gone Girl, also wrote for them for a while, and I remember really liking her articles.
- A side of myself I never want to lose?
My playful side. 🙂 - Generally, what’s your favorite makeup season (winter/holiday, spring, summer or fall?)?
I want to pick two! Please, please, please? I pick summer and holiday.I like the extremes, I guess. Summer for easy and casual, and winter for its formal flair.
Your turn. 🙂 Just copy and paste the following questions into a comment with your answers. I look forward to reading ’em!
1. You’d think I was crazy if you saw my _____.
2. Something you’re constantly forgetting to do?
3. What have you been reading these days?
4. A side of myself I never want to lose?
5. Generally, what’s your favorite makeup season (winter/holiday, spring, summer or fall?)?
I firmly believe that within every person, even self-proclaimed dog people, resides a cat lady waiting to blossom. Case in point: my homeboy Karl Lagerfeld.
“I never thought I would like cats.”
— Karl Lagerfeld
On that note, Tabs and I would like to wish you a most purr-fect week. 🙂
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
Kiss & Make-up says
You have to tell us aaaaall about the marathon!!! 🙂
1. You’d think I was crazy if you saw the way I organize my cupboards and cabinets.
2. Something you’re constantly forgetting to do? I forgot what it was 😉
3. What have you been reading these days? Do beauty blogs count? 😉
4. A side of myself I never want to lose? My commitment.
5. Generally, what’s your favorite makeup season (winter/holiday, spring, summer or fall?)? Fall!
Karen says
It was REALLY great! The best race I’ve ever ran. I’m hobbling around today though, LOL! And my back is a little wonky. But other than that it was so much fun. I will take a pic of the Tiffany necklace in a bit to share.
How’s your Monday going? Is the weather out there nice today? It’s overcast and a little drizzly here.
Kiss & Make-up says
Yay! I’m glad the race was a success! And as for the weather here (lol weather talk) it’s actually really nice! Sunny, clear and about 23°C!
Karen says
Lucky you! I’m over being cold already. Please soak up some sun for me! And perhaps wear shoes that don’t require socks, haha.
Petra says
1. You’d think I was crazy if you saw my _____. Email-inbox…
2. Something you’re constantly forgetting to do? buy bouillion.. (my current irritation since it has been on my grocary list for weeks and yet when I get home – did I buy it? NO!)No I don’t know, there are small things that I forget for a while and then it gets replaced by another forgetfullness…
3. What have you been reading these days? Nora Roberts Whiskey Beach. Just started this morning…
4. A side of myself I never want to lose? my silly side
5. Generally, what’s your favorite makeup season (winter/holiday, spring, summer or fall?)? Fall, love the heavier warmer makeup I wear then 🙂
Here it is raining and have been for days (not constantly but almost) I just want to stay in bed and watch movies/tv-series.. I just got into watching Rizzoli and Isles again and I.just.can’t.stop.watching. (but I had to go to work – darn it!)
Happy Monday and I hope the sun is shining on you and Tabs today
Karen says
Hi Petra,
LOL, you’d think I was out of my mind if you saw my work email box. It is full-on insanity!
Ya know, I haven’t watched Rizzoli and Isles. It’s about two detectives, right? Do I need to get into it? Lately I’ve been watching a ton of Gilmore Girls lately. It’s a little cheesy but it’s sweet and not too heavy.
Stay dry in the rain! Tabs says hello. 🙂 He is staring at me from his cat tower right now.
Petra says
A detective and a medical examiner (same same but diffrent) and I think you would enjoy it. I am a big fan of the Gilmore’s and I think this has a bit of the same flavour (it is darker and a bit morbid but still so much fun)
Kim says
Congratulations on the half marathon!! And, I’m sorry to admit this but you look better AFTER running it than I would before. Only you could run for 13 miles and still have perfect hair and makeup! 🙂
1. You’d think I was crazy if you saw my cupboards/closets. The rest of the house that people see is generally in a state of mild to acute disarray. The stuff that no one sees without opening a door is always neat and organized. Maybe because no one else really touches that stuff. 🙂
2. Something you’re constantly forgetting to do? Hmmm, I can’t think of anything. Of course I could think of what the Hubs constantly forgets to do!
3. What have you been reading these days? Re-read the Maze Runner books (to make sure they were OK for the boys to read). EW is also my go-to magazine. Online, I’ve been researching hiking gear – it’s time to upgrade.
4. A side of myself I never want to lose? My witty side. I like having a quick comeback/comment when necessary.
5. Generally, what’s your favorite makeup season (winter/holiday, spring, summer or fall?)? There are makeup seasons? HAHA! Kidding. I like summer for me since I’m minimalist anyway. On other people, I prefer fall when the darker lip colors come out. I find that very striking on others. 🙂
Karen says
Hi Kim,
Ahh! I keep meaning to read the Maze Runner books! Thank you for the reminder.
I think that it is super cool that your closets and cupboards are organized. One day I will get there. ONE DAY! (She says, shaking her fist in the air!)
How was your weekend? Did you guys do anything fun?
Kim says
They are a quick read and the story is interesting (the writing is kind of so-so) so I hope you’ll enjoy them. 🙂
Thank you! I would love if the rest of the house was as organized and clutter free. Maybe when the boys are all grown up. 🙁
We did our first “snow” hike. There was a bit of light drizzle when we set out and by the time we reached the trail, it was full on snow-covered trees and ground. The poor boys were only wearing sneakers and it was wet so it wasn’t their favorite mountain. Other than that, we put away the summer clothes (and made the basket for the Salvation Army) and got out the fall/winter stuff. That was a more tiring day for me! HAHA!
Karen says
Hi Karen,
Love your blog. Great pic and nice smiles. Keep up the awesome work!
Karen says
Thank you, Karen! Have a great week!
Shannon says
1. You’d think I was crazy if you saw my _____.
handwritten notes that I write to myself throughout the day! When anything crappy happens and I get annoyed or pissed off, I tend to vent by writing angry notes at the “situation.” Those notes are definitely emotionally charged, and not eloquent in the slightest… translation: they’re totally crazy-town! But it helps me to keep my cool, and I can rip ’em up and toss them once I get the crazy/angry out. There’s something soothing and symbolic-feeling about it 🙂
2. Something you’re constantly forgetting to do?
Practice the mandolin!! My husband got me one last year for Christmas/my birthday to learn how to play, and I *adore* it – but I keep forgetting that I want to practice it when I have free time. Just gotta be more intentional, I guess…
3. What have you been reading these days?
I finished “The Undertaking” by Thomas Lynch recently – such a FABULOUS book, and it made me want to get more into poetry (Lynch is a poet, as well as an undertaker – the latter topic being the main subject of the book). I also recently got “No One Can Stem The Tide,” a collection of poems by Jane Tyson Clement – and I’m really enjoying them. I’ve only read a small bit of poetry throughout my life, and I really want to learn more about it!
I need a new novel in my life soon, though. Oh, reading. It’s the best. 🙂
4. A side of myself I never want to lose?
My kindness. I feel like I’ve been getting more cynical as I get older… but I really do love being kind to people.
5. Generally, what’s your favorite makeup season (winter/holiday, spring, summer or fall?)?
oh man!! They all have their draw. I love the easy nature of summer makeup, and I love the dramatic turn that fall takes. And then I’m all about the sparkle of holiday makeup 🙂 It’s the different things about them that make them so appealing! So it’s hard to even compare them.
Karen says
Hi Shannon,
If you ever get the chance try taking a poetry class. I took one in college and it gave me a deeper appreciation for the art form. Do you have a favorite poem? Mine is When You Are Old by William Butler Yeats.
When You Are Old
When you are old and grey and full of sleep,
And nodding by the fire, take down this book,
And slowly read, and dream of the soft look
Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep;
How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or true,
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,
And loved the sorrows of your changing face;
And bending down beside the glowing bars,
Murmur, a little sadly, how Love fled
And paced upon the mountains overhead
And hid his face amid a crowd of stars.
LindaLibraLoca says
Now that fireman was a nice treat..
1. You’d think I was crazy if you saw
…my living room right now. Toys everywhere.
2. Something you’re constantly forgetting to do?
… Take the empty glass bottles out for trash.
3. What have you been reading these days?
…Technical literature and children’s books. “Animals on the farm” is going strong.
4. A side of myself I never want to lose?
… My caring side.
5. Generally, what’s your favorite makeup season (winter/holiday, spring, summer or fall?)?
… Summer. You just got to love those bronzed looks.
Karen says
Hi LindaLibraLoca,
So the cool thing was he was also really super nice! There were these long lines to take pics with the firemen and the end of the race, and they were like an hour long! I was tired at that point and just wanted a pic, so I tapped this guy on the shoulder and he was sweet enough to just snap a quick pic with me.
How was the birthday/Bad-Taste-Party? Did your makeup turn out OK?
LindaLibraLoca says
Really a nice guy.
And so sweet of you to remember! The party was fun, although getting up with the little one at 6 am next morning wasn’t 🙂
The make-up was very 80es. I uploaded a picture on my instagram and twitter account if you want to check it out.
Have an awesome monday!
Karen says
Oh no. No thank you to waking up at the crack of dawn after a night out! I just checked it out and your makeup was too funny. The lip liner added that extra touch.
You enjoy the rest of your Monday too! I just finished lunch and so now it’s back to some writing.
LindaLibraLoca says
Well, seems like my new boss is just as strict as yours 🙂
Agata says
Congrats on the half-marathon! I am so proud of you!
1. You’d think I was crazy if you saw my _____.
Dining room table. Filled with makeup and random Sephora and Ulta bags.
2. Something you’re constantly forgetting to do?
Cannot really think of anything right now, I am usually pretty conscientious about things.
3. What have you been reading these days?
Not reading any book at the moment so I am also going to say- beauty blogs!
4. A side of myself I never want to lose?
My Polish side and remembering about my roots. Abd my Polish accent to go along.
5. Generally, what’s your favorite makeup season (winter/holiday, spring, summer or fall?)?
Fall for sure!
Karen says
Thank you! Maybe someday I’ll get to cheer you on virtually when you do a race. 🙂 You never know!
By the way, I love your Polish accent. I think it’s so cute!
Ami says
Re the porch light. It might be worth looking into upgrading the light to a light sensitive version. This way you never have to remember to turn it ‘off’. It will automatically start to brighten as the natural light lessens. Most of my neighborhood does it that way, it’s an easy way to make it look like someone’s home even if you’re on vacation.
Tatiana says
Wow! You did it!!! Congratulations. I don’t think I could do half of a half marathon. That’s a really cute fireman. Did everyone who finished get something from Tiffany’s? Love that little blue box.
Did you wear the Cle de Peau mascara? How did it hold up?
1. You’d think I was crazy if you saw my closet. Clothes to fit every size I’ve been in the past couple of years. Really wish I could figure out a way to keep the weight off.
2. Something you’re constantly forgetting to do? Hmm, I forget.
3. What have you been reading these days? Finished Gone Girl before the movie opened. Right now I’m reading a lab report on sciatic nerve stimulation of a bullfrog.
4. A side of myself I never want to lose? The nuturing/listening side.
5. Generally, what’s your favorite makeup season (winter/holiday, spring, summer or fall?)? Fall. Definitely fall in clothes, makeup and perfume. Favorite season all around.
Stefi says
Hi sweetie!
So, here we go:
1. You’d think I was crazy if you saw my pet’s toys.
I’m not crazy I just REALLY love treating my kids to new toys and I enjoy having a lot of toys around the house. Everything for my little ones 🙂
2. Something you’re constantly forgetting to do?
Stop nagging my boyfriend about the silly little things around the house like turning a light off or locking the door at night and so on. I somehow always forget to just ssshush and do it myself.
3. What have you been reading these days?
The lucky one – Nicholas Sparks
4. A side of myself I never want to lose?
My moody I-just-want-to-be-alone side, I sometimes just need everyone to back off and give me a few hours by myself so that I can calm myself down and get back to normal 🙂
5. Generally, what’s your favorite makeup season (winter/holiday, spring, summer or fall?)?
Lately I’m very into fall with the dark red lips and dark smokey eye but my all time favorite would be spring. I’m born in May so that’s probably why May is the perfect month for me: fresh flowers everywhere, sunshine, warm weather – but not too warm, and everywhere you see bits of pink and blue – my favorite makeup combination, that’s why it would be spring! 🙂
Love, Stefi

1. You’d think I was crazy if you saw my nail polish collection.
2. Something you’re constantly forgetting to do?: Work on my delayed research paper.
3. What have you been reading these days?: Lots of interesting reading assignments for school. You’d think history would be boring, but it’s really not!
4. A side of myself I never want to lose?: My imaginative, creative side.
5. Generally, what’s your favorite makeup season (winter/holiday, spring, summer or fall?)?: Fall. I love deep wine shades and lush browns.
Erin says
1. You’d think I was crazy if you saw my _____.
Lack of organization! To be fair 75% of it is my husband. He will not put things away where they go until I “buy a lable maker and mark every cupboard, drawer, and shelf”. Needless to say I think it’s a cop-out so he can just do whatever he wants. I have to completely re-do everything he puts away because I’m to cray cray to live with a cluttered set of kitchen cabinets.
2. Something you’re constantly forgetting to do?
Take my mid day medication or my Asthma meds. My Asthma is allergy related so if I’m not having any symptoms I totally forget I have it. The mid day med is a new one and I forget 25% of the days to take it.
3. What have you been reading these days?
Tad Williams books and all the magazines I can get my hands on.
4. A side of myself I never want to lose?
My creative side. I lose it often but only for short periods of time.
5. Generally, what’s your favorite makeup season (winter/holiday, spring, summer or fall?)?
Fall or Winter/Holiday for sure. Sparkle, Vampy, and Glam!
Rachel R. says
1. You’d think I was crazy if you saw my _____. Main bathroom. We have a periodic table of the elements shower curtain, biohazard warning signs, radiation warning signs, glow in the dark soap, glow in the dark rubber duckies, and test tube holder for toothbrushes. Beakers and flasks hold mouthwash, etc. We have a sign that warns you not to use the equipment without proper training, a poster about how to detect cancer, and the door has a metal sign on the front that says, “Science Lab.” If you saw the mess our kids leave it in, it would make more sense. We find the theme hilarious, but I’m sure visitors think we’re all nuts.
2. Something you’re constantly forgetting to do? Take care of myself. I’m always so busy with the kids and everything else.
3. What have you been reading these days? Light, escapism stuff. I just read a bunch of Zombie apocolypse stories, and now I’m reading something involving Irish fairies.
4. A side of myself I never want to lose? My fighting side. I persevere, and I never give up.
5. Generally, what’s your favorite makeup season (winter/holiday, spring, summer or fall?)? Fall and winter/holiday, because I can be more dramatic, and my makeup doesn’t try to melt off.
Dominique says
1. You’d think I was crazy if you saw my __Mail box and the number of mails !___.
2. Something you’re constantly forgetting to do? Cleaning my computer outside/Inside ( never back up for example )
3. What have you been reading these days? An History of Perfumes
4. A side of myself I never want to lose? My creative side
5. Generally, what’s your favorite makeup season ALL !:)and really ! (winter/holiday, spring, summer or fall?)?
Mariya says
Congratulations on your run!! That’s a great accomplishment to be proud of! Make sure to rest up before you go out running next time!
I gotta tell you, I love reading your Monday Polls, but I’ve never replied! So, here it is:
1. You’d think I was crazy if you saw my…. scarf collection. You just can always use a cute scarf, ya know? They’re cozy, cute, can change a whole look… and you can spritz ’em with your favorite perfume and smell it all day!
2. Something you’re constantly forgetting to do? Writing stuff down! If I don’t write it down the moment I get an idea, I totally forget it! So there are notepads in every place of the house and I carry my planner around nearly everywhere.
3. What have you been reading these days? For fun, I’m reading Mindy Kaling’s book, “Is everyone hanging out without me?” It’s hilarious! I’m actually trying to read it slowly so I can enjoy it… you know, like taking small bites of dessert! I’m also reading “The Mislabeled Child” about students who have a learning difference and are gifted, but that probably sounds super boring to anyone not in the teaching field!
4. A side of myself I never want to lose? Strangely…. my clumsy side. Cause even though I’m always working on not letting the clumsiness show in an obscenely public way, tripping over stuff just makes me laugh at how crazy life is!
5. Generally, what’s your favorite makeup season? Summer! Glorious and overheating, summer! I absolutely love colors – whether they are pastels, neons, glitter, or berry!
I also have to share a story with you since you share so much with me through your blog! The other day, my husband and I were talking as I was getting ready, and he completely did not understand why girls need different types of lipgloss. Don’t they all look the same? And so I started explaining that there are different colors and undertones, different finishes, unique staying power, and different textures. And of course, apart from the different colors and finishes, we need a good combination of the rest! And then the same requirement are applied to lipstick, lipbalm, etc… (we’re math-y, can you tell?) I swatched a handful of my lipsticks for him and he was completely surprised that they were so different! Those deceptively all-similarly-pink-looking lipsticks…

My closet always seems to be in shambles. Shoes, clothes, bags just everywhere. I get lost in there simetimes…lol
2. Something you’re constantly forgetting to do?
I always forget to change out lil Miss Mollys water. Such a terrible person I feel like somedays. I am gonna try and get better thou 😉
3. What have you been reading these days?

4. A side of myself I never want to lose?
My caring and compassionate side fore those that are in this world that need love and a smile.
5. Generally, what’s your favorite makeup season (winter/holiday, spring, summer or fall?)?
So, we can pick 2…lol. I would say Spring and Summer hands down. They just flow nicely into ine another with colors blooming and popping everywhere

Thank you, Betsy! I had a great time. 🙂
Happy Monday to you! I hope you had a nice day today.
Kate & Zena says
HIIIIIIIIIIII. I have a root canal today….on bowling day. Yippeee.
1. You’d think I was crazy if you saw my _____.
Collection of stuffed toys. They all are toys that are important to me and can’t bear to give away. I might give away one or two within the next year, but most of the toys were either toys I inherited from Grams (and I remember them, like Raggedy Ann and Andy) or toys that were given to me by people who are gone (I have a bun bun that was given to me by my first ballet teacher who passed away suddenly before I left) or at important times in my life.
2. Something you’re constantly forgetting to do?
Thank my parents for everything they’ve done for me. It seems like a silly thing, but I wouldn’t be here if they hadn’t. They were told to put me in an institution when I was 3 1/2 and they walked right out of his door. They worked really hard to make sure I would succeed in life.
3. What have you been reading these days?
I’m reading Outlander by Diana Gabaldon right now.
4. A side of myself I never want to lose?
My childish side. That side was the side that kept my grammy grounded and loved by so many and I want to keep that because that’s what I loved most about her.
5. Generally, what’s your favorite makeup season (winter/holiday, spring, summer or fall?)?
Any of them. I tend to wear what I want, when I want anyway! Who cares if I wear bright blue in winter, right? (RIGHT?!)
Time to get ready for my root canal. Booooooooooo.
Karen says
Hi Kate and Zena,
Fingers crossed that the root canal goes smoothly. I hope Zena takes care of you when you get back!
Kate & Zena says
Karen,
I swear that was the fastest root canal I’ve ever had. It took thirty minutes. THIRTY MINUTES. My other root canals have taken well over an hour, an hour and a half. I had a half hour nap, but a quarter of my mouth is still numb because I had 2.5 shots of Novocaine. HAD I KNOWN it was only going to take 30 minutes, I’d might not asked for so much as I still am very much the villain Two Face in terms of how I can move my mouth. HA HA HA! It makes talking, drinking and eating very difficult.
Bowling while high on Novocaine is rather interesting…..
Nina says
1. You’d think I was crazy if you saw my _____.
Collection of stuffed animals.
2. Something you’re constantly forgetting to do?
I don’t know… Sleep? I always forget (or rather deny) the fact that I have to sleep in order to me awake at school.
3. What have you been reading these days?
I have just started to read Sherlock Holmes.
4. A side of myself I never want to lose?
My musicality.
5. Generally, what’s your favorite makeup season (winter/holiday, spring, summer or fall?)? Fall and winter/holiday. I love the cat eyes and the red and brown lips!
Karen says
Hi Nina,
That’s cool that you’re musically inclined! What instrument do you play?
Nina says
I sing! I am currently learning how to sing opera. 🙂
Rachel P. says
1. You’d think I was crazy if you saw my _____: room. It’s… not for the faint of heart.
2. Something you’re constantly forgetting to do? – RSVP to things. I am fully aware that I suck at this, and I want to be respectful and constantly leave myself reminders. But somehow, I lose the invitation, or I get sidetracked, and I keep procrastinating til it’s midnight of the deadline and a friend will call/text me wondering if I have saved the date. I gotta work on that.
3. What have you been reading these days? – The Pearl of the Soul of the World – Book 3 of the Darkangel Trilogy by Meredith Ann Pierce! Older fantasy series (like 80s or 90s) but I love it.
4. A side of myself I never want to lose? – My creative side. It has waned a lot in my 20s, but I am struggling to hang onto it. Also, my forgiving side. Compassion is the #1 trait I look for in others and that means nothing if I don’t live it myself.
5. Generally, what’s your favorite makeup season (winter/holiday, spring, summer or fall?)? – Fall! For me, fall makeup is pretty synonymous with winter, but at least in fall my skin isn’t too dry yet, so I can sway between matte and dewy finishes without having to battle dry winter skin or oily summer skin! Also… Halloween. Need I say more? 🙂
Karen says
Hi Rachel,
Your room sounds like my office! There is method to the madness, right?
Rachel P. says
There definitely is! The only issue is- I feel like we’re the only ones that understand our methods, lol! I don’t mind my crazy room so much until someone else sees it!
Georgia says
. You’d think I was crazy if you saw my nail polish collection.
4. A side of myself I never want to lose? My sense of humor
5. Generally, what’s your favorite makeup season (winter/holiday, spring, summer or fall?)? Holiday! Special makeup for all those parties!
Tracy says
1. You’d think I was crazy if you saw my _____.
Sock/lingerie drawer. Ever wear 2 different color socks? Been there, done that WAY too many times so now everything is color coordinated and hubby thinks I’ve finally lost it. At least I match now.
2. Something you’re constantly forgetting to do?
Dust! I have all the fancy tools (Microfiber Mini Blind Duster anyone?) but I always forget in the midst of cleaning everything else.
3. What have you been reading these days?
The Blood Gospel: The Order of the Sanguines Series. It’s vampires for grown ups.
4. A side of myself I never want to lose?
I have a pretty good sense of reading people from the very start. Granted there have been times I’ve been totally wrong but for the most part my first impression is spot on. Always trust your instincts.
5. Generally, what’s your favorite makeup season (winter/holiday, spring, summer or fall?)? Definitely fall. Anything jewel toned is divine!
Lena says
That fireman’s on fire, he’s hot hot hot.
1. You’d think I was crazy if you saw my makeup collection. Well maybe not ladies who frequent your blog, Karen. Last count I’m pushing 80 blushes.
2. I’m constantly forgetting to walk the dog! I’d work work work and look up at the clock and it’s 1am.
3. What have you been reading these days? Travel stories.
4. I never want to lose my curiosity.
5. Hmm we only got rainy season and dry season out here, and the former (though I love it more) wreaks havoc on makeup.
