- UPDATE: Dec. 14, 2009. I just heard back from the folks at Clarisonic, and they have kindly offered to open the giveaway to international readers. To the MBB babes living overseas, that means you can participate too. Hooray, hooray!
Rise and shine, ladies! 🙂 Are you ready to rock and/or oscillate?
Before I get to the purpose of this post, let me share something I haven’t really told anyone — not El Hub, my parents or Tabs (even though he’s a great listener).
Over the past year my skin has dramatically changed, and, well, it’s freaking me out. I suppose it’s just the marching of time (sigh…) and the stress of our recent move, but sometimes when I look at myself in the mirror I wonder, “What the eff happened?”
I see deepening lines around my eyes and mouth (where the skin used to be smooth), and now, more than ever, I get pimples in the same oily/dry/confused patch on my forehead, over and over again.
That’s why I’m really looking forward to spending the rest of the winter with the Clarisonic brush.
I’ll be testing one over the next month and hoping for the best. I’ve heard LOTS of good things about ’em…
“The tight, soft bristles, sonic waves and oscillating motion of this daily face-cleansing brush help it reach uneven surfaces to dislodge dirt and makeup and clean pores deeply, minimizing problems like acne and dermatitis. “It smooths out the skin tremendously. I had a patient with bumps on her forehead for five years, and now they’re gone,” says N.Y.C. dermatologist Debra Jailman. She recommends using the brush every day with a mild cleanser and once a week with an exfoliant. Dermatologist David Bank of Mount Kisco, N.Y., says cleansing with a sonic brush — which removes dead skin — can help treatment ingredients penetrate better.”
— In Style
“We heard a dermatologist’s lecture about blackheads and whiteheads, and we thought, ‘What if we found a frequency that would flex the skin and work with skin’s elasticity?'” says Robb Akridge, cofounder and vice president of clinical research at Clarisonic. “So we set about figuring out a way to loosen dirt inside pores.” Clarisonic uses the same technology as Sonicare, but because skin is more sensitive than teeth, moves more slowly — 300 vibrations per second versus 520. And according to Akridge, Clarisonic is different from other skin-cleansing devices — such as at-home microdermabrasian gadgets — in that “other technologies address the skin in only one direction, which generates friction.” Clarisonic, he says, flexes skin back and forth, clearing pores without excess exfoliation, so it’s gentle enough to use every day.”

“But is there any benefit to using a gadget instead of a washcloth to take off makeup? The Good Housekeeping Research Institute looked at three power facial brushes… the Clarisonic Skin Care System came out tops in the lab and consumer tests.”
— Good Housekeeping
This year I feel really lucky to be able to offer you guys a chance to give the Clarisonic a try. The company has pledged 10 Clarisonic brushes as prizes for MBB readers.
Thrilled much? 🙂
The prize
TEN lucky ladies will win their choice of Clarisonic Sonic Skin Cleansing Systems:
The Classic ($195), the OG of Clarisonic brushes, thoroughly but gently cleanses and exfoliates skin using ultrasonic technology, aka the same technology used by Sonicare toothbrushes. Heralded by beauty mags, dermatologists and bloggers as the second coming in skin care technology (Glamour called it “the Bentley of exfoliators”), it’s said to help with a number of skin issues — blemishes, dry patches and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles — and impart a healthy glow without irritating the skin. The Classic has two speeds and comes in white, pink or graphite gray.
The Clarisonic Mia ($149) offers all of the benefits of the Classic Clarisonic in a new, smaller size. Available in two colors (pink and white), this one-button, one-speed brush fits most gym bags, overnight bags or other small bags for spur-o-the-moment weekend getaways.
The Clarisonic Plus ($225) takes cleansing a step further by offering three speeds for the face *plus* an additional “Body” mode. The PLUS (available in white only) specializes in treating dry patches and improving the texture and firmness of skin; all this, and they say it’s also great for prepping skin before the application of self-tanners.

My mum! Because she would so love something like this, she’s a skincare type of person 🙂
I’d love to Win a Clarisonic for my 46 year old mom!
She just had a baby and feels so down with her weight and the economy. What a great way to cheer her up!
.-= Erin M’s last blog post… erinxduh: @americanexpress Hey @americanexpress. I have a ZhuZhu hamsters set on my holiday list. Pick me! #amexgiftcard =-.
I would like to nominate my sister. She has always been there for me through thick and thin. She has been my best friend and always will be.
My sister! Because she would never spoil herself with something as nice as this!
I nominate my sis in law , she has been through a rough year personally … and I would love to give her a clairsonic … for christmas , to brighten and cheer her on … for the strength she has shown in handling the roughest of the situations . Thanks Karen for the wonderful giveaway , I have heard a lot of reviews about how good they are …
My friend, Sky. She got into makeup just after me (partially because I was having so much fun, and she had been interested in it for a while, and I was the catalyst), and it would be wonderful to have such a thorough way to remove it from her skin. Having great skin is the best base for playing with makeup!
i nominate my sister who just purchased a coop and now is crying budget with her mortgage and facials are out of the question !!
I nominate my sister. She has two small boys and she needs some pretty and a reminder to take care of herself too!
I nominate my Mom! She’s been curious about the Clarisonic, but never wants to spend so much money on herself — at least not for skincare products. She’s wonderful and she deserves something special.
Thanks for the amazing giveaway, Karen. I’m excited!
I nominate my sister. She has had to deal with her husband being over in Iraq (3rd tour). She has kids and takes care of the home while he is gone. She has also had foot surgery in the past 3 years on the same foot and has to deal with complications of not being able to do things for herself while he is overseas. She devotes her time to her family and unfortunantely forgets about herself. I think she needs this to remind herself to take time for herself.
I was gonna post something but, after reading Lisa’s post nominating her sister, I cast my post to her!! God bless them
.-= tracey’s last blog post… Dinner =-.
I nominate my sister. She’s going to school full time, working full time to pay for school and just doesn’t have the money right now to take care of herself properly.
I nominate my fiancé because he has been having skin problems recently. Oily T-Zone and flaking cheeks, forehead, chin. Not fun. I’ve been trying 3-step skincare on him but this would really help us both a lot!
I nominate my mom, because this would be great for her! she deserves it because she works really hard.
I would love to nominate my mom! She and i would benefit greatly to this brush! I heard it’s great! 🙂
I nominate my mom! it would be a great Chrismas gift for the best mommy 🙂
thank you!
I nominate my mom. She has the biggest heart in the world.
.-= Kizzy’s last blog post… Will Smith’s kids have crazy hair =-.
I nominate my best friend Laura, who has been helping me pack up my apartment, get rid of my furniture, and is watching my car till I can come back for it. She’s doing all if this in spite of that fact that I’m moving cross country and leaving her in a small college town. I can think of someone who deserves an awesome “thank you” more than Laura.
Actually, I *CAN’T* think of someone who deserves it more than her. Oh, iPhone typing…
I nominate my sister because she’s always been a beauty inspiration of mine. She taught me how to embrace my height, and just recently has been dealing with some tough times, so I think she needs a little Christmas pick me up 🙂
I nominate my Daughter! She is just getting into makeup and skin care, and I’d really like to encourage her to take care of her skin properly. This is such an amazing giveaway!!! Thanks!
I nominate my mom who is always there for me 🙂
I nominate my sister Pilar. She had a really bad bout with Steven Johnson Syndrome a few years back and has struggled with her flaky and alternately oily and dry skin since then. She has finally been given the go ahead by her doctor to start a skin care regimen. I am hoping that the Mia will help her find the skin she once had. Its been a confidence shattering process for her – seeing her skin so discolored and patchy – I believe she deserves the chance at great skin again!
Awesome giveaway, Karen. Happy Holidays to you and Tabs from Me and Linus and Anja and our dog Mojo!!!
i nominate my mom! she’s always had problems with her skin “40 something year old women should not have pimples!” and she would surely appreciate something like this 🙂
I would definitely nominate my mom. She’s always had skin problems and is really self-conscious about them (even though she’s gorgeous) and I think this would really help boost her confidence and get her skin looking beautiful. She’s always been so supportive of me and is truly a bright light in my life. It would be a perfect Christmas gift for her.
I nominate two people- my sister and my mom. My sister is in her mid-twenties and having major skin changes that are driving her nuts. I nominate my mom because this is something she would never buy for herself, but would love. Yes, I would give them both away. I’m not normally this generous (ha ha), it must be the holiday season.
I will nominate my hubby! He is so into keeping his skin clean lately, I think he would love this as much as I do 🙂
Thanks for the AWESOME giveaway Karen & Clarisonic 🙂
I nominate my sister!! She’s had skin problems for most of her life and she’d appreciate something as nice as this 🙂
my mama of course! she and my dad cant ever exchange gifts due to lack of funds and I would like for her to get something to pamper herself!
I nominate my mom. She is the type of person that does more for others than herself but at times to a fault. If this product does work like it says it does, it would be something she can use for herself & make her feel good about herself.
.-= Marisol’s last blog post… A Day of Ups & Downs =-.
I nominate my friend Johny-Angel. We’ve both suffered through our thesis’ together this year and will soon live to tell about it! The stress that goes along with it and all her other trials and tribulations this years definitely makes her a great candidate for the clairsonic!
I nominate my mom! She has been on a quest for a new skin care routine and I think this would be awesome for her!
I nominate my best friend and roommate Tammy who has been thoroughly stressed out from work, school, and her personal life. Her skin has been flaring up, particularly with stubborn acne, as of late so I think she deserves the benefits of a Clarisonic. She is the most wonderful, generous person in the world and I am so lucky to have a friend like her in my life!
I nominate, she’s the strongest and most hardworking person I know. She’s just an adorable, selfless woman and hope to become more like as I get older. She would totally love this gift!
i nominate my sister! with trying to finish school and trying to plan her wedding she needs this!! (i totally think just those two reasons alone deserves a clarisonic brush! hahah)
I nominate my “person’ in the Grey’s sense), Lexie. Her year has been a pile of death (her father, and she lost her mom in her teens), school drama and the like.
.-= Hedy@penny for my thoughts’s last blog post… Think before you participate in Free Shipping Day =-.
I nominate my friend Kyli. She’s been going through some difficult times, and is affected by dysautonomia/POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), a chronic and debilitating condition which she is greatly active in spreading awareness of. She always appreciates the little things in life – I’m sure she would enjoy this and that it would be a great surprise for her.
I nominate my cousin, Nicole. She is a lawyer who works crazy insane hours and really has no time for herself anymore. Hopefully this little brush of magic can bring some joy back into her life!
I’d like to nominate my mom. She never does anything for herself. She’s going to be turning 60 soon and is just now starting to have trouble with her skin.
I nominate my sister! Having grown up with eczema, she’s all about taking good care of her skin. Only being in high school and without a job though, she would never splurge on this kind of thing, even though she would absolutely love it!
I nominate my aunt since she has taught me mostly everything I know about make up and now that she’s married and has kids she barely has time to have “me time” so that would be a great thing she could have =)
Hello and happy holidays. I am entering because I have a wonderful friend who is a beauty girl and recently has been going through a rough patch because of getting in a car accident. She is okay, but her car is not and it’s just added stress during the holidays. She has been wanting this for awhile so she needs some extra cheer. Thanks!
Thanks! Her name is Aisha
I nominate my roommate, Kristine. Both of us have been struggling with our acne during our stressful quarter this year. We found out we were both allergic to benzoyl peroxide and we tried so many cleansers, moisturizers, etc but the acne just doesn’t go away. We would love to see if Clairsonic really does live up to its expectations! 🙂
.-= Pansy’s last blog post… Home is where the BED is. =-.
I nominate my friend Steph. Last year her father was diagnosed with late-stage prostate cancer. He has recently completed a full course chemo and radiation, and although very weak, is feeling hopeful. Steph put her plans to move to NYC and attend grad school on hold so that she could remain at home to help her mother care for him. Her strength and spirit throughout this ordeal astounds me. I’ve been wracking my brains trying to think of an appropriate Christmas gift for her; something that she could use as a personal, stress-relieving indulgence, which she really needs! A Clarisonic brush would be perfect, especially since I would never be able to afford one on my own (either for me or a friend). Thank you!
-Kelsey
Like another reader above, I’d rather cast my vote to another person (Kelsey) since her friend and family could use something nice in their life far more than I.
I’d like to nominate my mom. Not only is she a teacher at a local alternative high school, she is trying to finish her master’s of education in the process. She was a single parent raising us and more than any one I know, she deserves a change for the good!!
I definitely would want my Sister to receive the other Clarisonic as well. I think she would honestly love it. She has gorgeous skin already and is very into skincare. If she only tried it and knew the incredible benefits the Clarisonic has, I’m sure that she would go crazy over. Also, she travels frequently and gets really sensitive to outdoor elements and it shows on her skin. This would help alleviate that.
Even though I already have the Clarisonic, I don’t want to hog the other one. I rather give it to my Mother. I think this would help make her cleansing routine much simpler and quicker especially with her hectic lifestyle. She already has gorgeous skin, so why not continue the trend.
.-= Fiona’s last blog post… Unboxing: CLARISONIC MIA System Travel Kit =-.
Oh man, I would pick my friend (and co-blogger) Karen — we’ve known each other for half our lives now (!), and she’s a rad friend who’s stuck by me even when I’ve been less than a bestie should be.
.-= Jeanne’s last blog post… Holiday Gift Guide 2009: Accessories and Bling =-.
I nominate my co-worker Cana…..she’s planning her wedding for next spring, and her fiance’ lost his job this fall with the economy-forced downsizing. With all the worry about finances and wedding planning, her skin is the least of her worries. And with no real gift exchanges this holiday, this would sure be the nicest of surprises!
I nominate my sister. She’s been working at a new job which is super stressful and she puts in long hours; the clarisonic would be the best pick-me up.
I nominate my boyfriend, DL. He thinks Clarisonics are for women only! I want to prove him wrong.
I nominate my mom. She’s working so hard to keep this family together, give us a place to live and food to eat everyday. Eventhough we are struggling financially she still tries her hardest for us to live comfortablly. I think she will like if she get one of this.
I nominate my best friend. She lost her job last year, and still can’t find a job. She has been living in a constant state of depression because she can’t afford any beauty products or new clothes., and has not been taking care of herself. Anyway because of the depression, she’s been breaking out, and she had said she wished she could buy the clarisonic. I hope i can make that dream come true. This is a great giveaway especially for the holidays. Thank you so much for offering it.
I nominate my best friend, Martha–she just got an awesome new job, and I reckon a little celebration would be in order for her.
I nominate my sister. She is newlywed to a great guy with a chronic health condition, is overworked, and is always doing for others. She deserves some pampering!
.-= Amber’s last blog post… The root of all deliciousness =-.
I nominate my mom, who is retiring next week from a career as a speech pathologist after over 40 years of dedication, my father passing away, etc. She really deserves one!!!!
I would like to nominate my mom. We aren’t exchanging gifts this Christmas, because of lack of funds – but oh, how I would love to suprise her with this! She has a lot of stress in her life (my sister just moved back into my parent’s house, with a little baby – my niece!), and I would love for her to have something fun and special to treat herself to, in the sanctuary of her bathroom.
Thank you Karen! 🙂
I nominate my blogger sister and real life friend, Christiana. She’s worked so hard to get through the first semester of her RT program and she totally deserves this for her hard work!
.-= Jaclyn Rose’s last blog post… Video: Baby E and his Kitty Kat =-.
I nominate my long time best friend Nikole. She is going to be getting married next year and stress of finishing school and planning a wedding has left her skin less then ideal. I want her to have the freshest face and to be glowing on both her special days (receiving her diploma and walking down the aisle) 🙂
I nominate my mom who is the latter stages of life, but still deserves to feel beautiful
I nominate my daughter, shes had a tough year. She lost her job and hasn’t been able to find another and I would love to raise her spirits. Both of us are makeup and beauty fanatics and she hasn’t been able to indulge in “retail therapy” in quite a long time.
I nominate my mom because she works hard at everything she does except taking care of herself. I hope the Clarisonic will smooth away some of her concerns about aging and give her the healthy glow of a newborn 😉 .
I nominate my Mommy, because she’s the one that got me addicted to makeup in the first place 🙂 She would love one of these.
.-= GeriBerry’s last blog post… GeriBerry: @Fraize I think it’s Vixen, Donner, Blitzen, not Nixon, Donna, Dixon hehe! although I think your version has an equal ring to it 🙂 =-.
I nominate my brother Felix. Sometimes guys have it hard when it comes to skincare, if they have problematic skin they can’t use makeup on a daily basis to cover it up like us gals! So I think this would be a great chance for him to try the latest skincare gadget, have better skin and gain more confidence.
i nominate my friend jen who’s going to have baby #4. it’ll be a nice easy break with all the kiddy chaos.
I nominate my good friend Neena. She loves makeup and beauty products as much as I do, but she got married and had to move to her husband’s city last year, so she was forced to quit her job. Unfortunately, it just so happened that it was the same time the economy dropped, and so she has been jobless for over a year and has not been able to buy any fun things for herself, and this would be the best present I could give her!
.-= Kajal Couture’s last blog post… Lush-ious Skin for the Wintertime =-.
My mum totally deserves one–she works so hard, and never really pampers herself! It would be a great Christmas gift 🙂
I’m going to nominate my best friend who is now pregnant. It has taken a real toll on her skin and I would love to help pamper her with this gift. Thanks Karen!!
I nominate my sister (and BFF) Sarah. She has had a real tough 2009 and is trying to turn things around for her. She could use the tiniest bit of holiday cheer!
I nominate my best friend, Aubrey. She shares my love for makeup and we have have so much fun experimenting together!
My friend Judy who is coming to visit this week – Would love to have a really cool present for her.
I nominate my best friend Marie. We’ve been friends for almost 10 years and though she no longer lives in the same city, we manage to keep our friendship going strong.
I nominate my friend who is getting married in a month and is terrified that she’s going to break out…. I would nominate my mom, who is awesome, but she has the most gorgeous, flawless skin ever…. I don’t know why those genes weren’t passed down my way….
I nominate my best freind who’s an undercover beauty product junkie. Why not add one more (and totaly cool and convenient) tool to the arsenal?
I nominate my cousin. We’ew both beauty obsessed and if I like this I know she will also=)
I nominate my close friend Emily. The past few months have been really rough on her and this would really cheer her up big time.
.-= Arianne’s last blog post… The Wishlist. =-.
I nominate my friend Crissy. She’s had a tough year, and is the only one who gets my love for Sephora.
I nominate my best friend Farrah. We grew up together and she helped me through everything. When I’m upset or freaking out, I call Farrah… and she makes it all better. Next year she is off to medical school on the other side of the country and I’m going to miss her so much!
I would say my twin sister, Diana. Because she’s been always by my side, and I know she will always be, although sometimes I burden her with my own problems without thinking about hers. So, I’d like to nominate her because she’s all I have 😀
I nominate my Hubby becuase he takes such good care of me all the time and I’d like to do the same for him. He works long hours to pay for our new house and the stress shows in his skin. I’ve heard this is great to help with razor burn which he gets from shaving each day.
I nominate my grandmother, for two reasons: 1) even though she’s in her mid-80’s, she still tries to look her best and 2) she’s the one who taught me the importance of good skincare. She made sure I stayed out of the sun, wore a hat, and applied sunscreen, even as a little one, and I thank her for that. And her skin is pretty amazing for her age since she followed the same principles! The Clarisonic would help continue that trend.
I nominate my older sister. She has been dealing w/ acne since she was a teenager and at 32 she’s still dealing witht he same issues. She’s a phenomenal woman who’s also dealing with a lot of medical issues. I know this will cheer her up!
I nominate my friend DeeDee. She works full time, takes care of two boys, a dog, and a husband. She never has much time for herfself, but she is always cheerful and has a big smile on her face.
Thanks for the giveaway.
My friend Dannielle has been having the worst few months 🙁 She recently found out she has some precancerous cells from her most recent pap smear and has had some painful procedures to try and get rid of them. Two weeks ago she discovered her cat has cancer and has been spending all of her money on trying to get him to feel better! Sadly nothing worked and she now has to make the decision to either put him down before Christmas or after she gets back from her trip home. She could really use this to cheer her up during this hard time in her life and I would love to out a smile on her face!
I nominate my best friend Angel, she is a mom with three daughters and she has put aside all of her own needs just to make sure they get everything she wants. I am always keeping on her about doing something for herself and when i read this i thought it would be a great start for her. Thanks for the chance to share!
i nominate my mom because she never does anything for herself. all she does is take care of our family and work. she never pampers herself and the clarisonic would be a great gift to give her. thanks 🙂
.-= Jamie’s last blog post… random hauling… =-.
My mother would never, ever spend the money to get something like this. She’s a public school teacher on the verge of retirement; both professionally and personally, she’s way too good at taking care of everyone else and forgetting to take care of herself. I’d love for her to win one!
I nominate my mother! She deserves a gift like that, she never buys something for herself!
I’ve heard so many good things about the Clarisonic!! This is exciting! I nominate my mom because she deserves a little pampering :o)
I nominate my mom, Gloria. She is the most beautiful woman I know, and she doesn’t even know it. She let me play with her make up, try on her bottles of perfume, and wear her high heels growing up. Now she’s super supportive about everything including my new love for make up. She comes with when I haul, tells me the honest truth if something is not working, and always assures me that even without it, I’m just as fine.
I love my mom. This would be an awesome gift for her.!
I really appreciate trying to help us international folk, Karen! I don’t know many bloggers that go out of their way for us. Or maybe they do but I never hear of it 🙁
Even though I can’t enter, I’m rooting for everyone! CLEAR SKIN FOR ALL!!!
.-= Ashley’s last blog post… Almost December! =-.
I nominate my mother because she’s having a hard time right now and needs something to lift her spirits. She has been dealing with severe back pain for almost a year now and it’s gotten so bad that she can hardly walk across the house because the pain is so crippling. After doing countless cortisone shots, nerve blocks, and months of physical therapy, they’ve decided to finally operate. She goes in for surgery on January 7th and I’m hoping something like this would speed her recovery by bringing her a little Christmas cheer.
I nominate my mom she barely takes care of her skin and she could really use this!
.-= amynaree’s last blog post… Review: SkinMD Natural Shielding Lotion =-.
I nominate my sister-in-law. She has three kids under the age of 5 and hasn’t had a haircut since the 2nd was born 4 years ago. She rarely has time for makeup anymore but she always says she’d feel better about not wearing any if her skin looked really great. From what I’ve read, the Clarisonic would be perfect for helping her improve her skin without taking up too much time!
I nominate my son’s babysitter! I’d love to be able to pay her back something for all she does for me.
This is a great product, and what a wonderful idea for a giveaway!
.-= Terri K’s last blog post… tkharmonic: RT @GameWorks: Rumor is that @SEGA is sending me some REALLY cool stuff to give away!! Our next quest is 1,000 followers only 441 left! =-.
I nominate my mom! She recently retired from work 25 years @ Ford Motor Co. She doesnt normally pamper herself. But she deserves something, she can use at home. I think this would be wonderful! She has worked hard in the job world, it is now time for her to take care of herself!! Love you mom!!
I nominate my friend, Julie. She’s a single mom, raising her 16 yr old daughter by herself since her daughter was born (dad decided he didn’t want to be a dad at all). Her support system has been her parents and grandparents, and one of her grandmother’s just unexpectedly passed away, and her grandfather, who has been her daughter’s “adopted dad” her whole life has just been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer. She’s had a tough time, but always has a smile and a helping hand to lend to everyone. This would be a nice gift for her to pamper herself.
I nominate my mother because she works soooo hard for our family and never takes the time for herself. She deserves a Clarisonic to pamper herself and her skin!
i nominate my sister! she is beautiful inside and out, and i know shes been wanting one. shes had problems with her skin for a while and the texture of it is not so smooth and i know the clarisonic can help with that! <33
thank you, goodluck everyone!
I nominate my dear, sweet mother. She is always looking for a magic cream or tool to help her look younger…but I hope I am as beautiful as her when I get to be her age. I love her and I’d love to give her a wonderful gift for everything she has given me 🙂
That would be my best friend. We both are really into beauty and makeup and we always buy the same stuff, but since the Clarisonic isn’t available in this country, I would love to get her one because I’m sure she’ll love it, and I will too!
I nominate my mom, someone who has tirelessly worked to raise three children into successful young adults.
My little brother is getting married next summer, and I’m gaining a sister-in-law. She seems to be a great fit for my brother. I would love for her to receive a Clarisonic, so that she can get her skin into tip-top shape before their wedding. Thanks for the awesome giveaway, Karen!
I nominate my Mom. Her skin really stresses her out, and she never spoils herself! She deserves it!!
I nominate my best friend Annie. She’s had a lot of major skin problems over the years and just as those were clearing up she developed bad acne. I think the clairisonic will help us both with acne issues and hopefully boost both of our self-esteem!!! Good luck to all who enter!
I nominate my mom. She drives me batty some times, but she’s perhaps the most giving person I’ve ever met. She works full time as an OR nurse educator after spending nearly 25 years as a scrub nurse. AND she’s in school full time to get her PhD in nursing research. She takes care of everyone before she even thinks of taking care of herself. This past year my grandfather has been very ill and because she’s a nurse and because she’s always done it in the past, all the duties of taking care of him have been pushed off on her by her two siblings. My little brother has been having a hard year also dealing with some anxiety and depression issues while at school, and she’s be incredibly stressed about that. She blames herself for it given that she and her family have had similar issues. Her birthday just past and all she wanted for Christmas/her birthday was this product. The girls at work all rave about it, but with two kids in school and a mortgage, she couldn’t see sparing the money for this indulgence. I wanted to buy it for her, but since I left my job a few months ago, I’m barely scraping by myself (though, I will point out that I still live at home and it wasn’t like my job was high paying, so I thankfully am a lot better off in these economic times than a lot of people are). This would be the most amazing gift for her! She does so much for others and this would be a great, quick way for her to feel like she’s pampering herself.
I nominate my son, Gavin. His skin has been breaking out these last few months after always being fairly clear. He doesnt complain much but I know it bugs him. Happy holidays!
I nominate my “chéri” ( my hubby). Next year he will turn 50, and it would be a good thing for his skin having deep wash. He looks younger than 50, because he takes care of him : so, i’m sure he would love the CLARISONIC sonic skin cleansing system… And i would too !!
I nominate my mom! She needs this extra boost for her skin!! I hope to be as beautiful as she is when I’m her age, so with winning this we can both save our skin! She’s the best because even after all the stress she’s dealt with this year (my aunt dying, losing a job) my mom always has a smile on her face!
I nominate my mother and my sister. My little sister still lives at home so they could share this. I would love to give this to them not only because they never treat theirself to anything fancy but also because we decided not no buy anything for this christmas, so this would be an awsome christmas gift 😀
I would love to give this to my uncle. He works hard and gives us so much. This would be a nice treat for him as he rarely pampers himself.
I nominate my dad…Not only did he go through a divorce this year 🙁 he has struggled with bad skin his entire life. I’d love to give him a little confident boost and something to help him feel good about himself. Thanks for the opportunity!
I nominate my mother to win a Clarisonic. My mother use to get monthly facials and since my father has had a stroke and she has retired from working, she has not had time for facials. I think the Clarisonic would really replace her facials and possibly work better!
I nominate my BFF, Alex, because we’ve been through a lot together over that last 10ish years, and one of those journeys has been the trial and error of fixing our skin (or beating it into submission).
Thanks for the opportunity!
.-= MIchelle’s last blog post… Creative energy, and the miracles of social networking =-.
I’d like to nominate my sister-in-law – aside from the fact that her birthday is Christmas Eve (and as a result, she never gets to really celebrate her birthday/gets jipped on gifts), she’s had a tough year with medical/health issues, and winning something like this would really brighten her day.
.-= Mayaari’s last blog post… NOTW and Packages =-.
I would nominate my mother, b/c she has had a pretty rough last few years, and could use something nice for herself. She always puts everyone else’s needs in front of her own, and it would be great to give her something she could enjoy.
I nominate my mom. She is a devoted caregiver to my mentally and physically disabled sister, and a consistently loving wife and mother. She is the strongest and most loving woman I know. I am so proud of her and I wish she would take more time to pamper herself. A Clarisonic would be the perfect at-home spa retreat for her!
Definitely my bestie!! She’s always looking for something that will make washing and cleansing her face easier, and what’s better than the Clarisonic? 🙂
.-= Diane’s last blog post… more on jane cosmetics! =-.
I nominate my lovely sister-in-law, who is giving birth right -now-. (I’m waiting for the phonecall to tell me i just became an aunt….so exciting!)
She had a not-so-nice pregnancy which is an understatement, and hasn’t been able to really enjoy it at all. On top of that a lot of other horrible stuff happened in her life, work-related, but also family-related. For example, her grandmother had a brainattack(?), which was pretty serious and scary, she couldnt talk right and forgot a lot of things. My sisterinlaw also found one of her beloved cats, dead in the catroom, who probably had a heartattack. And those are just 2 examples.
As you can imagine, she’s been having a real hard time, and I would really like her to have something nice. Since she became pregnant she hasnt been feeling well, not even for one day, and she also had issues with her skin. The Clarisonic would be perfect to help her with that and give her something nice. She really deserves something special, because she is a special person who is always there for everyone.
OMG, she just called my husband, and the baby is here!!! 🙂
.-= janny van dorst’s last blog post… A new addition to the family.. =-.
I’d like to nominate my BFF because she is an awesome mom to her two young children, works long hours, and is stressed. She is always telling me how unhappy she is with her skin.
Oh yay – thanks Clarisonic for making this international, and Karen, for hosting! 😀
I’d give this to my best friend, she’s just broken up with her boyfriend who she was with for years and I’m sure this would cheer her up…
.-= Marce’s last blog post… Lauper, Gaga & MAC just wanna have fun! =-.
I nominate my sister. She has extremely bad Rosacea and this would truly help clear up her skin. Not only is her skin craving for the clarisonic but she as a person deserves this truly wonderful invention by clarisonic.
Not only is she a a nurse but she takes care of so many different people. This includes family, friends and complete strangers. She is always putting everyone else’s needs before her own. My sister is constantly participating in any event to help others. She does walks, donates money, and of course donates her time.
I would love to be able to give something back to her the way she has for so many people. She has continued to amaze me as a person the older we get and I am truly lucky to have a sister like her. I would really love to see her face light up from happyness versus the red patches that Rosacea causes on her face
Thank you Karen and Clarisonic for this wonderful opportunity and good luck to everyone.
I nominate my daughter who has given me nothing but joy
I nominate my mom, she lives in a nursing home because she has a brain disease, her memory is not working very well.
And she deserves this, a special treatment for her 🙂
I nominate my sister, who is living with a mental disorder, raising 2 teenagers, one of whom is special needs and she and her husband are both in college. Shes my hero
I’m nominating my sister, because she’s always had a rougher time with her skin than I have. I think she could use something like this!
Thanks so much!
I nominate my mom. She’s also been freaking out about her skin because of menopause, among other reasons. And she loves to try new things as well. We would both love this!
i nominate my cousin, Anne, who totally deserves a clarisonic! she stays at home now with her one year-old daughter and definitely deserves some pampering/tlc of her own. her daughter, the cute little munchkin that she is, is very fussy and hardly gives her time to do anything for herself! she would totally love it!
cheers,
H
Yay! How exciting. I nominate my sister because she just started college and doesn’t have any money, plus she is super stressed out with everything.
I NOMINATE MY SISTER <3 <3 <3
Because she needs it! lol well she always uses makeup and now her face is a bit bumpy and she always cleanses but needs something to help her face to regain its natural beauty 😀
This would seriosuly benifit her as she is going through a stressfull time as she is going to get married soon and her face has broke out with tiny stress spots and blemeshes 🙁
xxxxxxx
I nominate my friend lauren. She’s been there for me for years, through the death of my mom and the ensuing depression, and breakups with boyfriends, and with everything else. She’s a grad student and teaching assistant and barely has time for herself, but always makes time for me, and I feel she definitely deserves some clarisonic pampering.
I nominate my mother, who is hands down the most amazing person I have ever met. She’s made me who I am today: a strong, proud young woman. She taught me to never give up. I love her to pieces. <3
.-= Jessie's last blog post… college blues =-.
i nominate my boyfriend because he is working so hard this term and is breaking out – and this is something he would never ever get for himself 🙂
I nominate my sister, she is younger than me and has been dealing with severe acne. I know it breaks her heart and think the clarisonic could really help.
I would nominate my cousin, Sara. Our family together have been going through a tragedy that took a toll on all of the family members. She’s a great girl/daughter/friend/girlfriend who doesn’t care about looks or the little things in life and doesn’t even care a thing about make-up. But the one thing she cares about is her skin. She’s been battling with it for years and its slowly getting better but needs something different to make it even better! I think clarisonic is going to give her skin that glow without using harsh prescriptions. And for x-mas i got her a eye-lash curly and the cover girl last blast length just to open/brighten her eyes up and this would be a great addition to the present!
.-= Tina’s last blog post… Christmas Beauty List =-.
I nominate my sister, for beeing able to get a Ph.D; raise two wonderful children and still be my best friend through a personal crisis.
I nominate my momma… she works so hard, and deserves nice things. But instead, denies herself so she can provide them for my brother and I, even though we are well-past childhood.
I nominate my sister! She is the best sister in the world, patiently fulfilling my endless shopping list whenever she goes on her many vacations to other countries. And she works really hard saving lives in the ICU, with many night calls in a month, hence, I hope the Clarisonic will help to improve her skin condition as the result of her work stress!!!
.-= Vonvon’s last blog post… Workshops I’ve Attended: Laneige Power Of 4 Workshop – Part 1 & Workshop Haul =-.
I nominate my BFF, Kelly, who is pregnant (finally) with her first child and is already experiencing changes in her facial skin. I already recommended Clarisonic to her!
I nominate my aunt who has served as my beauty guru through out my whole life. She’s always getting extra samples and fun products for me.
I nominate my sister! She’s living away and I miss her so much, I wish I could see her more often =) Anyway, we both have problematic sking, pimples appear in the worst time possible (before a date, before an important meeting, etc)
I nominate my mother, she’s been having a hard year.
I’m nominating the most influential person in my life, my mother. She has been so supportive over the past few years while I’m away at college. She deserves so much more than what I could ever offer. She’s a beautiful person on the inside and on the outside.
I would love to get one of this baby’s! I thought i was finally rid of acne when suddenly this year it comes again in full force!
I nominate my brother who is always there for me and has exactly the same issues as me in terms of his skin!
This would be the perfect Christmas present for the both of us! Thanks!
I nominate my mom who worked several jobs to help my brother and me go to college. She is a wonderful lady and deserves some pampering! I think she would love to try the Clarisonic!
Wow..Karen , thanks for hosting this amazing giveaway. 🙂
I nominate my mom..coz she never really has time to take care of herself..she already has nice skin..if she uses this I am sure she will glow.
Thanks
Jan
I nominate my husband! I know, he’s a guy…But he’s been through a really tough year with both work and some hospital stuff. And you know, guys should have good skin too!
I’m gonna nominate my BFF cos she’s always there for me and I don’t have a lot of money and thought it would be nice to give her something cool
Woo what a great giveaway! I’ve even had these recommended to me by a dermatologist but couldn’t afford it. I would nominate my mom, she works such long hours and hardly ever does anything for herself, this would be the perfect Xmas gift!
.-= Trude’s last blog post… November Roundup =-.
I nominate my mom who is always there when I need her and never takes enough time for herself. If I can help her destress for 5 minutes every day and minimize the time her beauty regime takes, I would be very grateful. I also want to say how happy I am that this contest is open to international readers of your blog, especially since I live in Belgium and there are no Sephora stores here.
I nominate my mom. She works hard and never spoils herself. This would be great for her.
I nominate my BFF Sarah. We have been friends for nearly 12 years, she is always there for me as well as her family and always gives more of herself than she receives. She is due some time for pampering and caring for herself.
My best friend Jake! Both of us have been through it all, for 15 years! Plus we’re both battling little skin issues (blackheads, pimples), are getting facials together, and we’d both greatly benefit from this system!
.-= Celine’s last blog post… maravi: I’m already annoyed =-.
I nominate my mommy! She’s dedicated the last 30 years of her life making people beautiful as a hair dresser. Her clients (and myself) are always wanting to return the favor! This would be a great way.
I nominate my Mom because she has worked so hard while my Dad has been unemployed. She works her butt off to support my family and still is so nice and generous and will do anything for anyone! She deserves a treat so badly!
I nominate my sister because i cannot afford to buy her a Christmas present this year and this gift will help her because she has blackheads and most acne products haven’t been much help to her skin
I nominate my little sister. She is my best friend and always put everyone ahead of herself. This would be an awesome gift for her.
I nominate my friend Anh Pham. She’s going through a divorce, and she’s really stressed out because of the circumstances around it. She really did (and does) a lot to take care of her soon to be ex husband, daughter, dog . . . basically, everybody BUT herself. So, I thought that if she got one of these, she would have a visible reminder to take a few minutes out of every day to take care of herself.
I nominate my sister- she is not only kin, but my best friend! She’s a beautiful girl inside and out- and could use a little exfoliating!
I nominate my mom, who always puts other people’s needs before her own. She definitely deserves to be pampered, and since she’s recently entered her 6th decade, this would be a wonderful gift.
I nominate my Mom. There’s nothing like proving you are right, to your mom no less!! She doesn’t believe how smooth my skin feels after washing with Clarisonic, or how my moisturizer just sinks in. So to give her one, so she could see for herself what I’ve been raving about, would fulfill one of my Christmas wishes, to spoil my mom.
Thank you!!
I nominate my mom. Starting a family in a different country is not easy for anyone, and she has dedicated countless hours and poured out an endless stream of love for my siblings and I. This could be a way she could take care of herself for once and be the one that is pampered.
My Momma, because she’s winding up an 8 year ordeal this week. She’s a trooper and the glue that holds our family together.
Thanks for putting together an awesome blog, Karen!
I nominate my mother, Felice. She is a skin and breast cancer survivor, and just went in today to find out the results of her latest skin biopsy that they think is Melanoma. She is the strongest, most resilient woman I know, and I want something to remind her that her skin is amazing and beautiful, just like her.
I nominate my friend Jean, she lives in Nebraska and we hardly ever get to physically see each other but we chat almost every day. My life is so much better because she’s a part of it.
.-= shel’s last blog post… GIVEAWAY: BJ’S Wholesale Club =-.
I nominate my bf ana, she really deserves this. (:
I nominate my mom. She has always bent over backwards to give me whatever I desired, including all the beauty & skincare items I always saw and wanted. She uses my makeup leftovers, even though I have tried to give her new makeup items of her own! Whenever I see something of hers that I happen to like and comment as such, she gives it to me, even if I protest. I’d love to win a Clarisonic for her and have one of my own so that she can’t try to give me hers! (Love you, Mom! :))
I nominate my best friend Katja. She just got a job and I bet her skin is stressed!
I nominate my friend Cindy. She and I became friends as a result of our husband’s military service (gotta make friends fast when you move so much) and she and I discussed makeup and skincare often. I became like a personal shopper for her – so much fun spending someone else’s money! We were back door neighbors in Colorado and now I am in Maryland and she is Rhode Island. I would LOVE to share this with her and I know she would LOVE to get it as well!!!
I nominate my mother, who always put herself last and just recently I’ve started to buy her face stuff (creams, moisturizers, etc) and for the first time in a long time she’s really paying attention to herself.
I nominate my mom. She never asks for anything for Christmas, so I think this would be a nice Christmas surprise!
I nominate my mom (don’t I sound like a suck up?!)
My mom is a nurse and has been for over 30 years. She works in an outpatient wound recovery center, assisting patients who have survived serious trauma, as well as those with long term debilitating diseases like diabetes. She spends over 8 hours a day on her feet and was diagnosed this year with work-induced carpal tunnel from wrapping compression bandages.
When she comes home, she’s often too tired to do anything special for herself. I grew up watching her “spruce” herself up every single day – for as long as I can remember, she has worn her trademark rasberry red lipstick and a bunch of rhinestone pins on her scrubs to work every day. She loves the small beauty rituals in life and I think she’d get a kick, as well as some welcome relaxation, out of her own little spa indulgence using the Clarisonic!
I nominate my mom. She is a great example of a strong woman. She is beautiful from the inside out.
Thanks!
If [read: WHEN] I win, I will love to give one to my mother-in-law. I nominate my mommy-in-law, Magaly. She has been through so much this year, and it’s really taking a toll on her. She gets so stressed out. She hardly has time to pamper herself, and with this Clarisonic brush, she will DEF. make the time to do so 🙂
I nominate my sister. She is my go to girl for everything and with her upcoming wedding this would be a godsend. All she talks about is wanting to have perfect skin for the big day and this would totally help!!!
I’d like to nominate my mom because since I won’t be able to see her this Christmas, I’d love to give her awesome gift for the holidays.
I nominate my sister. She deserves a treat because she always helps EVERYBODY, but rarely treats herself to even a $5 eyeshadow!
i want this soooooooo bad, could really use it!!
I nominate my mom because I have had serious chronic skin issues my whole life and she has been trying everything to help me through it – I am very grateful to her.
I nominate my mom because I love her to pieces and she deserves a special treat for putting up with me 🙂
I nominate my mom! She’s had a tough few years but always manages to stay strong and look so pulled together. The past month has been especially tough though and it’s been showing…she could really use a facial (sorry mom!) but she doesn’t have the time since she is caretaker to my disabled dad. A Clarisonic Brush would be a great way for her to pamper herself at home!
.-= sue’s last blog post… thankful =-.
I’d like to nominate my sister. She is without doubt the kindest and most thoughtful girl/woman I know. <3
.-= Jinnzor's last blog post… Bling Rings =-.
Sabrina Moreno, my neighbour and such a cool gal.
I definitely nominate my mother. She’s the busiest person I know, and she deserves to get pampered every now and then. This way she’ll probably take some more time for herself, something she doesn’t do nearly enough.
I nominate my best friend, Nadine. After knowing each other for 24 years, she’s been a wonderful source of support in my life and this would be a nice little surprise for her.
I nominate my best friend Kelsie! She’s just getting into skin care and makeup and has overcome a lot of obstacles in the last two years, to finish her GED, start post-secondary education to be a computer technician, and overcome her anxiety about travelling to make it to Japan with me! She doesn’t have the funds to buy a Clarisonic for herself but she’s always been curious about mine, and I want her to try it!!
.-= Justine’s last blog post… Just Can’t Get Enough =-.
aloha! i’d like to nominate my mom b/c i think it could help her with her eczema and acne problem that has been a source of much stress and grief as she has tried numerous products to no avail.. and hopefully this will help bring back her self-confidence! thks!
I nominate my sister in law, Melissa. She is such a great person and I love her dearly. We both have been drooling over the Clarisonic, but can’t justify the price for one. I would love to surprise her with this! She would freak! Thanks Karen!
I nominate my friend Kim. She would absolutely NEVER buy anything like this. She never treats herself to anything other than Olay moisturizer, and it would be fun to get her hooked on skin care!
I nominate my dear husband overseas; Being on a army base is 180 degree different from spa like environment. He will be please to get a treat to get clean when he gets a chance!
I want to nominate my close friend, we have both been lusting after these but were are poor college students and can’t afford them! I hope we win!!!
.-= Katie’s last blog post… Long time no blog… =-.
My 88-year old mother cleanses and flosses every day at 7 p.m. A Clarisonic would make this chore faster and more effective. XXOO
Definitely my daughter. As beautiful as she is she still looks at pictures from her early teen years and picks apart every blemish on her face. I know she would appreciate the heck out of this gift!
.-= Amber’s last blog post… muffin time =-.
I would like to nominate my grandmother, who I has always been my role model since young. After 5 years, we will see each other again and I want to see her as beautiful as ever.
simplyeunha at yahoo dot com
Nominating my mother! She’s worked so hard all her life and afforded so few luxuries, that this would just be perfect for her aging skin.
Hmmm, comment didn’t post the first time : /
I’d like to nominate my sister because she is the most kind and thoughtful woman I know. Love her <3
I nominate the lady across the street whose family we adopted for Christmas. Every year we give her kids presents and try to get her something to make her feel special. She is single, has a small home and raises 4 children. You can see the stress of life on her face. She has never asked for a handout and we only bring her gifts as a “neighborly” way of saying “Merry Christmas”. She is a very proud woman and works hard to keep her children fed and clothed. She doesn’t know that every year we “adopt” her family. I’m sure she has an inkling of an idea, but we always present the gifts to her and her family as if we do this for all our neighbors.
She is always extremely thankful, humble and kind. I would love to give her one of these. It would give me another reason to spend more time with her as well.
-Danelle
.-= Houstonblogger’s last blog post… Taff Weinstein’s Weekly Update =-.
I would nominate my mom and my sister. I wouldn’t keep one for myself. They both are difficult to shop for and I think these would be just right for both of them. My mom retired earlier this year and has finally started taking care of herself and my sister has that pain in the a**sensitive skin.
I nominate my mom. She works so hard especially at christmas time putting little shoes on tiny feet. She recently fell and broke her arm. I think giving this to her would really cheer her up!
I nominate my friend Melissa. She’s struggling with with some things right now, and could use a “pick-me-up”, plus she has been the most awesome friend a woman could have by helping me through so many of my own crisises, big and small, this year!
I nominate my mom; she works so hard and is so generous with her time. She deserves to be pampered!
I nominate my boyfriend. He is going through some skin issues, and I hope this works!
I nominate my mom – she has done so much for me, and I would love to be able to give her a special treat like this :]
My mom! She’s worked 10 hour days doing manual labor her entire life to give me what I have and I think she deserves a little something to make her feel beautiful 🙂
I nominate my mom because she’s truly the most amazing woman I’ve ever met and she deserves a glowing skin to match her heart <3
Hi Karen, this is so great of you. I nominate my BFF Barbara, two reasons: 1, she’s allergic to so many skin care products, and the Clarisonic, involving no application of any chemicals, would be so perfect for her, and 2, her beoved cat passed away last month (at a very old age) and I think this would cheer her up. Thanks for a fun blog and a fun contest!
I nominate my friend Katie. She is the only other person I know who is as obsessed with makeup and skincare as I am! I know she would absolutely love to have a clarisonic.
I nominate my mom because she’s a fighter. it’s her 2nd year cancer-free after suffering from breast cancer. I know she doesn’t feel as pretty anymore and thinks her skin looks dull from the chemo. She never gives up though and has always been a selfless person. Each Christmas she doesn’t want anything and won’t let people get her gifts but instead spends her money on toys for tots and other charities. She put others first all her life, including myself, so I think a little pampering would be great for her!
My mom. She took care of my financially through my university years even if it meant working two jobs. She deserves it!
Thank you so much for that great giveaway!!!
I nominate my sister who has always long for pretty skin since her teen years where she suddenly started breaking out. This would be the best present ever for her this Christmas 🙂
I nominate my best friend Shefali. We’ve been best friends since Grade 6 and after the day after new year she is off to med school in Dominica! I’m super excited for her but I’m definitely not looking forward to not being able to talk over coffee and go shopping together :'(
Since all she does for her skin is the old fashioned wash and rinse with soap and lotion *sometimes*, I would really love for her to have this! Haha!
my mom, for finally starting to think of herself after years of only thinking of us.
Oh wow! This is a seriously awesome giveaway!
I nominate Sylvia, one of my coworkers. She’s 8 months pregnant and just finished her PhD (she got it – with Honors!), and is seriously in need of some pampering. And she’s singlehandedly saved many of my days by just being her normal super nice self.
I nominate my mummy. She made a lot of sacrifices for her kids at such a young age-finishing her education, a full-time job, a social life, etcetera.
I nominate my mother who has worked hard to give me a wonderful life; who has always supported me no matter what. She is a beautiful lady inside and out, and I’d like to give her a clarisonic brush to keep her looking great!
I nominate my friend Aimee… she is my partner in crime when it comes to beauty products!
i nominate my sister andrea. her face refuses to clear up.
I would nominate my little sister. She’s had bad skin for the past couple of years and I know how much it would mean to her to have something to get that could really help her skin texture.
I nominate my mother since she’s really invested in helping getting rid of my acne since I was 11! It would be nice for her to not have to spend another dime on this gadget 🙂
I would like to nominate my friend Trina. She just had her first baby, Malia, and it would be such a treat for her! We’ve been friends since our dance team days in Hawaii and nothing would make me happier than spreading some holiday cheer with the new mommy!
I nominate my mom. She has been working hard for us all her life and deserves to be pampered.
I nominate my little sister Maya. We bond over our love of beauty products and we both have moderate acne that could use some TLC (Tender Love from Clarisonic)!
I nominate my mom! She never buys nice things for herself because she always spends her money on other people! This would be a great gift to her since she could pamper herself 🙂
I nominate my mom because she has never taken care of her skin but she loves gadgets so I know the clarisonic is something she could get behind!!!
I nominate my Mommy. She works really hard to put a roof over my head and food on the table. Every woman deserves a little luxury and this would be perfect! Thanks for the giveaway!
I nominate my best friend Bitsy because her and I have been fighting with our acne for years and still are not at the perfect level of clear, healthy skin.
I nominate my little sister Bekki. She’s only 20 and has just been hit with cervical cancer. The treatments she’s starting will make her lose her hair, but she refuses to stop being beautiful. This would certainly bring her a little cheer.
.-= Vickie’s last blog post… (via loveyourchaos) =-.
I would nominate my mom. She’s a Kindergarten teacher and spends a lot of her time bettering her classroom for her students. I’m sure she would love this 🙂
I nominate my mother. Her and I have the same issues with our skin and she got laid off a year ago and still hasn’t found anything permanent, she needs a special pick-me-up.
Would like to nominate my mom. She has had some health issues and her medication has left her skin dry and flaky.
I nominate my sister, she has been suffering with skin issues for many years now and this will make her very happy.
I nominate my friend Elizabeth who is sweet and generous. She has been wanting to try different skin care options but is always too busy doing things for others to find time and money for it.
I nominate my mom. She paid out of pocket for my skin to be fixed when I got horrible cystic acne and had no insurance. Now that I have “normal” skin, I told her I wanted one of these for Christmas and she was interested until she heard the price. She is concerned about her own skin because she’s starting to have signs of aging. I would love to win this for her!
I nominate my mother. She does nice little things for me all year long. I was laid off in August, so I won’t be able to do holiday gifts. This would be the perfect way to say, “thank you.”
I nominate my step mom, cause she deserves something fancy like this for all the hard work she’s done this year. Plus, she is a skin care freak!
I nominate my mother in law, Carolyn. (Yes, we both share the same first name!) She has gone through a nightmare of a year. She sold her business, her best friend died suddenly from cancer, and her father suffered a massive stroke and died — all within two months. She is the heart and soul of the family, and always makes sure everyone – family or not – feels at home and welcome. I would love to give her a fantastic present for Christmas like the Clarisonic.
i nominate my friend who just lost her job- this would cheer her up!
I nominate my Sister who is going through a bad divorce and her skin is showing it. I’m always telling her regardless of what he has called her or said to her she is beautiful and there is a nice man out there that will love her the way a women should be loved.
Definitely my mom! She would love this just as much as I would, because she also likes to care for her skin.
Hi! I’m from Mexico! we don’t have Clarisonic here… so, I hope I have some luck!! :p
I nominate my mom because she just turned 50 in july and she has never use anything to take care of her skin! (not even moisturizer!!! :o!!) and I think that Clarisonic is the best choice for her to start to take care of her skin! 🙂
I nominate my mom, because she never thinks to buy something girly and fun all for herself. She only discovered the joy of mani’s and pedi’s a few years ago. She needs to know that taking care of herself is important. 😉
I nominate a very good friend of mine, that has lots of problems (family, school, boyfriend) right now.. At least this can make her look happy from the outside!!
I nominate my mom. She works SO hard and never spends money on herself. She deserves this so much. She has always taken care of me so well and I would love to let her now how much she means to me.
Oh, what an incredible giveaway! A great way to finish the year, for sure. I recently discovered your blog, Karen, but have been reading past posts FOR HOURS at a time!! I reaaally enjoy your writing style. Congrats!
On to the nomination… It has to be my sister!! Apart from teaching me everything I know about makeup (she’s 7 years older), she’s the world’s greatest mom to the most gorgeous 3-year-old girl (and future beauty addict, I tell you!) and 8-month-old boy. She deserves a little pampering.
My sister Becky, because I love her so much and we’ve been through everything together!
I nominate my sister Sophie. She is a sophmore at college and is struggling with funds and I know she would never buy something like this for herself. The stress of finals and living away from home for the first time has really made her skin break out more this last year. Plus she is an awesome sister!!!
My boyfriend’s sister Emily! Over the past three years, we’ve gotten so close and always end up buying the same things, so it’s only fit we have the same facial brush!
I nominate my sister! =) she always looked after me when i was young and helped me a lot with my homework/academic studies.
Hi,
I nominate my mum. I’ve chosen her because she rarely spends any money on herself and the only face products she uses is a moisturiser, I think she deserves a little more luxury in her life and a clarisonic would provide just that!
Thanks 🙂
I nominate my best friend, Abby. She has always stuck by me through parent’s deaths, divorces, and more. She is a hair dresser and always does my hair for me. She keeps me looking good and I’d like to be able to do the same for her.
Thank you, Karen!
My dear mom! Because I would like to make her happy 🙂
I nominate my friend who’s going through a quarter-life crisis, as am I, about our careers, finances, etc. At least we’d still be looking young and stress-free with a new Clarisonic! 🙂
Geez, wish I could nominate an entire list of people, but if I must choose one…I choose to nominate my little sister Karina. She’s been going through a rough patch lately. She’s only fifteen, but has been having breakdowns left and right and no, it’s not only teenage drama. She’s been dealing with some really rough stuff and I’m there for her, but she’s been breaking out a lot because of stress. This would be an awesome gift for her! Nothing worse than having a face full of red bumps when your a teen…
I nominate my Mommy. She is my best friend and my beauty co-conspirator. She is entering her mid 60’s and works 60 hour weeks! She has overcome obstacles with a smile and her beauty regimen is her “me time.” She deserves the best!
Cliche, I know, but I nominate my mom. I know she’d love the “Body” setting on the PLUS, but I also know she’d feel bad about spending that much money on herself!
My sister! She would love this and is saving for a home deposit so would not be able to treat herself.
I nominate my sister Julie! She is a hard working mother of four and she does it all in stride! She’s beautiful and I strive to be like her daily!
I nominate my friend Cynthia. She’s a makeup/skincare fiend like me, and she’s an awesome friend!!
I nominate my mom who would never think to splurge on something like this for herself.
I’d like to nominate my sister. She’s a junior in college with a whole load of loans, and I think this would be a great way to give her a little treat.
I’d like to nominate my friend Caonha! She has been my friend since 7th GRADE! and unfortunately she has been having trouble with her skin. She deserves a new CLARISONIC!!
I nominate my sis-in-law because she rocks! She is the sweetest, most caring friend to me and she definitely deserves a great product such as this. She has 2 children and never spends a dime on herself and I think this would be the best gift for such a great person. Thanks so much Karen for the fab giveaway!
I nominatet my friend, Tara. She’s been through a lot of personal stuff this year and this would really start her new year off right!!
I nominate my sister, Kelli! She works full time while putting herself through fashion school. I would love to get her a Clarisonic to brighten her skin as she chases her dreams!
Thanks for such an awsome giveaway!
If I am lucky enough to win, I would like one to go to my son, and one to my mom. To say “thank you” for all their support, love, and acceptance of me.
I nominate my cousin Jenny because she’s way stressed ALWAYS!!! She’s working on her PhD and has many other things on her mind. She loves free stuff and will make her year. She deserves it.
Jeannette
My mom, because she’s having a really hard time dealing with my youngest brother getting ready to finish high school… this is their last Christmas with kids at home! Also, she has super dry skin and I think this would really help her :).
I nominate my friend Katarina. She’s the only one who truly supports my obsession for make up and cosmetics. 🙂 So, this would be my way to thank her.
I nominate my best friend Winnie, who lives in Hong Kong and has no access to something like this! She’s been having a rough year and the stress is getting to her. This would be so perfect!
I would loove to give one of these to my mom! She is beautiful and she deserves one of these sweet brushes!
.-= ellamarie84’s last blog post… Not sure if this OOTD is worth posting, but…. =-.
I nominate my boyfriend since he care about his skin as much as I do.
I would loooooove to give this to my mom. Shes been wanting one as much if not more than I have.
i would like to nominate my friend stephanie who struggles with acne and have tried just about everything, maybe this can help her.
I nominate my sister Breanna who has been very focused on her facial well-being. She takes great care of her skin and a Clarisonic brush would just add to her already awesome regimen.
i would nominate my mom… she is always giving to others and i think it’s time she gets something fabulous for herself!
Oooh, Clarisonic! I’d LOVE to have a Mia for myself (I have a Plus) and a Plus for my mother. What a great contest!!
XOXOXOXO
Melanie
I nominate my grandmother. We recently lost my grandfather, he lost his battle with cancer. They were married for 55 years:) My grandma is 72 going on 25! She is a makeup and skincare junkie, this would definitely make her smile.
My beautiful son, we both deal with skin issues. I love him and Xmas gifts with be scarce this holiday.
i nominate my best friend katie! she’s my favorite person in the world, and her family doesn’t exchange gifts so this would make her christmas!!
I nominate my mom because she taught me that real beauty comes from within. Physical beauty fades so don’t give it a second thought — except, you should wash your face & brush your teeth daily. 😉
I nominate my mom because she warned not to be too disappointed when, with my genes, I’d never totally grow out of my acne, because she told me to learn from her mistakes and embrace sunscreen, and because she agrees that almost no price is too high for a foundation that matches your skin and doesn’t melt off in two hours.
I nominate my mother because she does so much for me and she never takes care of herself. She hates to spend money on herself and I think that if I won this for her she would be so ecstatic because she loves free stuff 🙂 But I think it would really help with her confidence and just make her feel really good because she deserves something nice for helping my family out so much.
.-= Lizzie’s last blog post… Ray Bans at Beyond the Rack! =-.
I nominate my husband! He is my favorite person in the world, and is always letting me try new face masks/toners/etc on him. We both could benefit from one of these, and it would be fun to use them together!
I would like to nominate my mom Sharon. She is amazing and we are great friends. She was diagnosed with brain cancer last summer and things are starting to get more difficult for her. I think this would be a nice relaxing way for her to take care of her skin. I already have her christmas present covered but I’d love to give this to her for her b-day in January.
Thanks so much for considering us.
I nominate my mom of course, this year has been tough for her so this will definitely cheer her up! She has given up a lot of her “luxury” skincare products so this will really put a smile on her face 🙂
i nominate my friend tiffany because i know she would love something like this as much as i would 🙂
.-= alli’s last blog post… yeahalli: http://twitpic.com/tfvw8 – i wouldnt go THAT far but these were tasty =-.
I’d like to nominate my sister, Robyn. She has always been there fore me . . . through everything. We have both have had our share of skin issues — so this would be a fabulous gift!
This is a great giveaway!
I nominate my mom 🙂 She works hard at running her own nail salon and I’m sure she would appreciate the gift of beauty!
hey i woud want to nominate a good friend of mine… She has lots of problems right now (family, school, boy friend) and i think this would make her very happy.. then i could cheer her up a bit & she would look beautful!
I would like to nominate my mom for working two jobs (getting between both of them and home via public transportation) and taking care of my father who is permanently disabled. She always puts family and others before herself, so she she needs a real pampering treat for herself.
I nominate my daughter. She works full time, goes to school at night and still manages to maintain a 4.0
My Mom! My Mom! I nominate my Mom. She’s so pretty but her skin on her face has rough spots and dermatitis. She works in her garden all the time but doesn’t take time to pamper her skin so a Clarisonic would be perfect for her! Thanks 🙂
I nominate my mom, she is such an amazing woman and I owe so much of what I have today to her! She has always been so supportive of everything that I have done and will do. She has always been my biggest fan! She always put her children and her grandchildren before herself, and has always been a shoulder to cry on and a helping hand. I dont know where I would be if it werent for her!!
I nominate my sister 🙂 She is so sweet and is always willing to help me out! She is so nice and I would love to give this to her because she has these horrible dry patches all over her skin that won’t go away! She is really self-concious about it, and I would love to cure of that! Thanks!
My Mom as she would love to try something like this but it is out of her price range and she deserves it!
I nominate my sister…she’s my best friend, and she’s had a really rough time over the past year or so…AND she just found out that she’ll probably need at least one, possibly 2 long-recovery surgeries, over her winter break, so it would be amazing if she could get a gift like this to cheer her up!
I nominate my friend Natasha. We have been best friends since we were 9 years in old and in the fourth grade! She is like a sister to me and she is always there for me when I need her!
I nominate my best friend dawn. I’ve known her 25 years, since I was 14. She doesn’t have a lot of time to take care of herself, or as a single mom, extra money for luxuries such as the clarisonic. She’s got a lot of things going on right now, and this would be a great pick me up for her.
i nominate my sister, because she never spends money on herself or treats herself to girly things.
🙂
I nominate my friend Linda. Her baby boy is due in two days, and with the new hectic lifestyle she is about to embrace, she needs something to remind her to pamper herself too. 🙂
I nominate my daughter whose best friend passed away this year at the age of 15. She was devastated but displayed so much strength.
I nominate my best friend in California who’s in her second year of law school. With lots of life changes coming up, our skin is taking a beating!
my mom! because she’s been looking at one for the longest time, but would never buy one for herself because she has to worry about me and my brother’s college expenses =(
i nominate my mom.. who never takes the time out of her day to take care of herself. she is always running around trying to take care of everyone.
I nominate my BFF since 2nd grade, Jessica. She’s always led a rough underprivileged life and especially in more recent years after losing her father in a tragic car accident. Though we live hours apart now, we will always be the best of friends no matter what!
I nominate my cousin. We grew up together and went through our ups and downs together. Since I barely see her that much, plus she’s a busy mom this will be a nice treat and gift for her.
I nominate my mom!
I nominate my boyfriend (it doesn’t have to be a girl does it?) We both have skin issues and maybe he would stop stealing my face washes if we both had one of these 🙂 We don’t really have money for super nice Christmas gifts this year so this would be a nice surprise!
Like many people I’m going to have to say my mom! She doesn’t always have the time to take care of herself because she works and takes care of her family so she deserves to have a nice pick-me-up to take care of herself and start her day off refreshed!
I nominate my mom! She is a pediatrician, and goes out of her way to help others. Yet she never takes the time or spends the money to pamper herself with good products. Recently she’s been trying cheaper drugstore products to give her skin some new life…I think this would be perfect for her, and she would just love it!
.-= S’s last blog post… open letter to subway girl =-.
I nominate my best friend Michelle. She recently has a lot of stress in her life and could use some pampering.
I nominate my friend Ivory. She has been shying away from skin care all her life and now that she’s past her teens she deserves something great to kick start her skin care routine.
My wonderful boyfriend!! He pretends to be all masculine but deep down, he loves to be pampered!! Lol!!
Thanks!!
I nominate my sister, who’s my best friend but has always had skincare problems, and would never spend the money on herself because she’s also a mom!
I nominate my mom. She is the best mother in the whole world because this year has been tough for her. My dad is away and me my brother and my mom only get to see him twice a month. So I think this will really perk her up because right now she is a little bit down because she does not get to be with my dad for the holiday season. Also she would NEVER spend this kind of money on herself she would much rather spend it on me and my brother. She is such a generous person! Thanks for the contest!
i nominate one of my closest friend, chrystal! she’s been my friend, support and sister.. ever since we’ve been school girls till now that we’re married women!
Monica is my candidate,
She’s been a great friend to date,
A bit of TLC is never too late,
Clarisonic and her will get on great!
I nominate my best friend Carleen because she has been so great to me and she has always been there for me.
I pick my mom because I’d love to give her this as a Christmas present!
i nominate my aunt charlene! she’s such an important figure in my life because she was there for me as a kid when my parents weren’t. as you can imagine, she has had a huge influence on me. she always told me to take good care of my skin because she never wanted me to realize that once it was too late. she’s so sweet–she’s treated me to my first lancome lipglosses before i was into makeup! and her obsession with sunscreens rubbed off onto me, but i’d say that’s a good thing (: shes ill at the moment, but im sure this would be a much deserved christmas cheer once she gets better!
I nominate myself. Everyone needs a little self-pampering once in a while. If I don’t take care of myself, who will?
I do nominate my best friend. She means so much to me, but we are seperated from each other since we’re following two complete different studies in two different towns along the country. We’re spending so much time without each other, so I thinks this is a nice gift to show how much I care about her. She has a very troubled skin with many dry spots, very itching. I realy hope the clarisonic could help her!
.-= Annigje’s last blog post… Hand- & Nagelverzorging =-.
I would like to nominate my cousin. She has always had so many skin issues and breakouts and has never been able to get them under control. In the past two years she had twin girls, moved 6 times between two different states (her husbands job) and is on a strict budget time and money wise. I thought this might help her skin and be a nice little surprise for her.
Thank you for the give away chance 🙂
I nominate my Mom. She will always do for others before she does for herself. This would really help with her menopausal skin issues.
I nominate my mom because she has always put her family first before herself. She deserves something like Clairsonic that will complement her schedule yet still give her the feeling of having put a lot of effort into her skin regimen.
I nominate my best friend and the person I admire the most – my mom 🙂 She is amazing and has had some really tough times in the past month and she never ever spoils herself (too busy spoiling all of us daughters :-P). She has always been there for me and my 3 little sisters and she never asks for anything in return. I think this would be a great way to show her how much we appreciate her and everything she does!! Thanks Karen 🙂
I would nominate my mother!! she is the greatest person in the world. She has battled every skincare issue EVER EXISTED. Both she and I could use some HELP in that department. Plus neither of us has the money to spend on something as luxurious as this.
I nominate my friend Evelyn. Even if she far ( she lives in italy), She is very close to my hearth and when I need her she is always there for me.
I would definately nominate my mom. She has worked so hard all these years to keep our family happy. She always thinks about us before herself and spends all her time and effort to make our lives better. I think she deserves to treat herself for once and this would be the perfect gift! Thanks Karen for giving everyone such a great chance!!
I nominate my best friend Gel! Through thick and thin she’s always been there for me. I’m a makeup & beauty late bloomer and through the years she’s been my saviour for helping me get ready for any big events on my calendar. She’s been having a rough month and winning this would put a huge smile on her face.
I nominate my best friend Sofia, she and I share the love of make-up and skincare. She’s a pharmacist and we have the best times when she’s on call. I fix her nails and she tries out face masks on me. She’s always looking out for the next best new discovery in skincare and she would love to try this, as we can’t get this where we live.
I nominate my best friend, Jenny. She’s ALWAYS been there for me esp when I went through my rough break up this year. She def deserves this. If we win this I will give mine to my mom too because she has worked so hard taking care of my brother who is autistic.
Thanks!
I nominate my mom. She loves me no matter what, and she would never get something so luxurious for herself. I am so grateful to have her in my life 🙂
I’d like to nominate my friend Ashley, who shared this opportunity with me and is the most appreciative of fabulous skin care products of anyone I know. I’ve been wishing for one of these babies for a long time now, and I bet she has too!
I would like to nominate my mom. She is really just the most amazing mom in the world and has done such an amazing job since my dad died. Also, she is just now, at the age of 58, finally pampering herself a little. She’s started to use a moisturizer and wear makeup and paint her nails. I’m so proud of her. She also really deserves this because it’s so hard to get her spend money on herself. She won’t even let me spend any money on her.
I would like to nominate my sister in law, susy, who has had one of the worst years financial…even though she’s having such tough times, she is still willing to help others…I would love to be able to give her one of these brushes, since money is so tight…and loves makeup too…Thanks Karen for this giveaway.
I nominate my friend Lori. I am blessed to have such a wonderful friend whose been with me through thick and thin since we met in sixth grade in 1973! She is beautiful in every way and really wants a Clarisonic.
I nominate two of my best friends! As much as I would love to keep one of these products for myself, these two people have influenced and touched me throughout our friendship that I would hate to choose between the both of them. One of them just called off her engagement to a guy she was dating for over 8 year due to irreconcilable differences and this product would be an outstanding present to help her back into the single’s market. The other is a grad student working on her PhD to become a psychologist and loves working with veterans. She’s in upstate New York and I know she’s been complaining about her skin issues for a while. Not only would this be a great present but I hope that it would help alleviate an un-necessary stress.
I nominate my friend who just found out her fiancee is being deployed and needs a little holiday pick me up.
I would like to nominate my older sister Edrina. She has sacrificed so much to help our family for the past four years while my dad was working out of town. This would definitely help her with the break outs she has been experiencing from stress. This would mean alot to her and it would give her one less thing to worry about in the end of the day.
I’m so excited this is open to international readers, thanks Karen! I nominate my boyfriend who has skin issues and tries to take care of it, but I think something “high-tech” like the Clarisonic would help him feel more motivated and happy with his results!
My mom would love this. She is the strongest, most amazing person I have ever known.
Hi Karen, thanks for the chance to win these! I nominate my mother. Her mother died of breast cancer when she was very young and she never had someone to lovingly show her about makeup, skin care, etc. ; she doesn’t wear a single stitch of makeup. Through your blog and other online tutorials I’ve learned about (girly) beauty products on my own and now I’ve started using that information to help my mother put together a better, more thought out skin-care routine, something her mother couldn’t do and something no one has done for the past 50 years. We bought her a shower organizer and filled it with products, I wrote out a morning and night plan with the order of the products, and she has been having so much fun with it! She keeps asking me if I can see a difference 🙂 She loves electronics and anything she considers “modern”; I know she would love a Clarisonic Brush, and I would love to be able to give her one.
This giveaway is amazing!! I have been lemming a Clarisonic Brush for so long, because I have heard such amazing things about it!
If I could nominate anyone, it would by my mom – she is my best friend & I don’t know how I would survive without her! I would love to be able to treat her with this wonderful product!
My mom would love this! No mom has enough time to pamper themselves, especially my mom, and with this it would be like having a facial at home! This such an awesome giveaway, thanks karen!!
I nominate my mum – because I’d think that she would really enjoy this treat. Thank you Karen for having this wonderful contest!
I nominate my BFF Danielle, who is having a really tough time lately. She just purchased her first home, and is now at risk of losing her job — right before the holidays — and is really bummed about it, understandably. We live hours apart, so I can’t offer her a hug or even just the comfort of being there to talk in person. I would love to give her this super awesome gift to lift her spirits at a time when she really needs it.
I nominate my best friend, my mom. She has worked so hard to make a normal life for us here in America. She always puts us first without thinking twice. I know she wouldnt even consider buying something so luxurious and expensive for herself so it would be a pleasure to give her something like this.
I nominate my sister, Michele. She could use a little pampering.
I want to nominate my colleague Tina. Just after Christmas last year her father passed away. She then gave birth to her second child. Her dad never got to meet his grandson. This christmas will be her son’s first, and her first without her dad. With two kids, Tina doesn’t have much time to herself. This would be the perfect gift for her.
I nominate my sister. She is young, a newlywed, a full time student and has a full time job. She has had a terrible time with her skin since she was a teenager and with all that she is going through right now, her skin is paying for it. I think the Clarisonic is just what she needs.
I nominate my husband. Who says men can’t keep up with their skincare as well?!! I think it would make a huge difference in his skin.
I nominate my mom – she taught me all about skin care from a very young age, and because of her hard work taking care of her skin she looks at least ten years younger than she is! I know she would use a tool like this every day, especially because she’d never splurge on herself!
I would nominate my mother. She is my everything and has always been there for me
through the ups & downs. I know she would be ecstatic to have a Clarisonic!!
i nominate my mom! She would rather do things for others than for herself and she needs to start taking care of her for once!
I would like to nominate my mother, because she’s always put my skincare and beauty needs above hers, and my life above hers in general. Sometimes I ask her, why? Shouldn’t you pamper yourself too? and tell her that she can forget about me, but she never does.
This is such a wonderful giveaway – thank you Karen, for hosting it, and Clarisonic for sponsoring MBB!
I would nominate my mom because its her birthday today 🙂
I’d like to nominate my daughter. She’s 15 and this would be a heck of a start to a good skincare program for her.
Hi Karen, I nominate my mom! I can see mostly all have too, but she is seriously the most special and greatest woman in my life. Although she just hit her 50s, she really doesn’t do much to take care of her aging skin besides some anti-wrinkle Olay moisturizer. Her skin has seriously been clear of any blemishes all her life, but I can tell its loosing its radiance (sagging and wrinkles on her forehead). Not only will the Clarisonic improve this, I hope she will finally start to take better care of her skin habitually. She never purchases luxuries for herself and, before now, I was at a total loss at what to give/repay her!
dot dot curve [:)] & thank you for an amazing opportunity
i nominate my mom, she really needs a good skin care routine but she doesn’t like to spend alot of money on skin care because she thinks that it wont work. I hope this will change her mind. I have bought her many different things in the past so i hope that i am able to win this for her,
I nominate my mother Domnikia (Diana to her friends). She immigrated to the United States from Russia the same year that I was born and since then has done everything that she can to ensure that our family of seven (yes, that means that there are FIVE of us kids!!!) did the absolute best that we could financially, socially, and academically. She has always put our family first before herself and has recently been having some health problems. This would just make her Christmas! She has never been the type to spend money, always economizing so that we the kids could have better. In fact, she feels guilty for spending money on luxuries like expensive clothes, makeup, etc. To this day, even though she doesn’t have to, she still occasionally shops at second hand stores because the thought of paying department store prices on clothing makes her feel guilty. Over the years shes worked very hard to help new immigrants in our church succeed, donating money, clothing, food, and her time and energy to help them settle into life here in America. If there is anyone that deserves some pampering, it is definitely my mother.
Please include me in the giveaway. I nominate my best friend Linda. She does everything for me. I don’t go out of the house, only on rare occasions. She does all of my shopping for me. She also looks for the drugstore nail polish that I crave. She is amazing. Thank you.
makeupgirl21@comcast.net
Hello Karen,
I nominate my Grandma. She is simply beautiful inside and out. She has had a rough time since my Grandpa passed away but she never lets it show. This giveaway would be great for her!
PS. Thank you for opening this up to international readers!
I nominate my sister-in-law Cherie because she has been wanting a Clarisonic & I’d love to
win this for her!
i nominate my mother because she’s a workaholic and does so much for the community. This would be my way of saying thank you from me, my family, and the community.
I nominate my mother, she’s my idol, my guide and I thank her for everything she sacrificed so that me and my sister could have a better life. She never dedicated herself to make up, or even a simple moisturizer, so it’s about time I pamper my mother and she needs to discover the wonders of Clarisonic !
I believe this is the best giveaway ever !!! Thanks Karen and Clarisonic!!
I nominate my best friends Sally. She has been through a lot this year with the wedding, the moving and helping her mom go through lung cancer treatments. She has been stress and breaking out, so I think this will help cheer her up!
I nominate my sister, S., who is in law school right now and her poor skin is freaking out from the stress! My poor stressed skin could use it too!
I nominate my best friend Sally. I’ve known her all my life, and she’s like the sister I never had. She’s always had problems with dry skin and eczema and this could really help her out.
Hi Karen, Thanks for doing this great give-away! I nominate my sister. She’s been through so much lately, and it would be great to give her something she’d never dream of getting herself and see her smile.
I nominate my twin sister! She’s got an almost 2 year old son- if that’s not enough stress to do some major damage to the skin I don’t know what is!
I nominate my hetero lifemate (BFF). She’s a mom and a grad student, but she still manages to find time for me. She deserves a little pampering!
I nominate my mom. She’s been working so hard this year and didn’t even have a single vacation day. I want her to take care of herself better.
I nominate my friend, Yunita. She suffers a lot because of acne. She’s a generous and loving person. I hope this will bring a good change for her!
I nominate my good friend Avneet, she’s had a rough year and I know she’d love this!!
I nominate my mom Yvette. This year we both had a really tough year. My nana (her mom) died of cancer in October of this year. After battling it for 4 months the cancer was just too aggressive. My grandpa died 2 years ago from Lymphoma, another type of cancer. This Christmas will be the first one without both of them and I know it will be difficult for her. I think this would be a perfect gift for her since she never splurges on herself and would help get her mind off of not having my grandparents around this Christmas. Thank you for this wonderful chance.
i nominate my hubs! when i met him, he had a really bad habit of not taking care of his skin and picking at it constantly, leaving discoloration and scars… he’s finally getting into the habit of taking better care of himself and this would definitely help him out!
I nominate my sister, because she’s paying her way through college and is as big of a beauty junkie as me and would love one of these as well. If I had the extra cash I’d probably get her one for Christmas.
I nominate my mom! She is my skincare guru. she takes such good care of her skin, she deserves this because she is always up for something new.
I nominate my girlfriend. She has spent her first year out of college and deserves a break from the thing called the “real world.”
I nominate my sister, she needs to get out of bad habits and take better care of her skin!
No question – I nominate my mom! I know she’s very self-conscious about aging and her skin, and if this product works as well as everyone says, maybe it would ease her self-esteem a little and give her a boost of confidence!
Without a doubt I nominate my mum. She’s done so much for me my whole life, and I know the stress of raising a kid like me was not easy on her skin!
What an amazing giveaway! I would like to nominate my mum – she works really hard, and this would give her an excuse to relax and pamper herself 🙂
I’d like to nominate my friend Maura. For years she has been struggling with acne, and I’d love to give her the gift of a clear face. She’s been traumatized from the 8th grade about her acne because a boy in her grade called her ‘ProActiv’. Ever since she has never felt the same about herself. I want to help her get clearer skin so she can feel more confident about herself, and show the world who she really is.
I nominate my sister. She is my best friend and she is amazing. She has had two children and lives far away from me. I miss her dearly and would love to share this with her.
I would nominate my sister, because she just has always been there for me when I need her the most. I think she totally deserves one and would be ecstatic if she got one.
She also has problem skin, so I think this would help her skin out in stressful (school) times.
.-= Nat’s last blog post… Thank You!! + Late Night Playing =-.
My mom. She really deservs a gift that is for her beauty, since she is very tired nowadays…having my little sister at the age of 40…wow!
.-= bagaela’s last blog post… New year, new brush 🙂 =-.
I nominate my brother-in-law’s sister who is starting a new job in a new city. It would be the perfect gift for her b/c she’s always looking for the next best thing for her skin!
I will like to nominate my best friend Jason, even though he is a guy , he has problems with his skin especially his face . I think he deserve it because he is a hard working student and has financial issue since college is expensive and his parents are not working. Hence, he has work overload all the time. He’s been a great friend and is always there for me when I need help. I hope I can win this so I can give him one for Christmas and i am sure that would put a big smile on his face =] .
I nomimate my mom, because she’s awesome! She still spoils me rotten (even though I’m in my 30’s) and she never treats or pampers herself.
I nominate my best friend Gaby. She just had her twentieth birthday party this Saturday and though she always looks fabulous, she was kind of bummed out because of her skin breaking out. I think this would be perfect for her as a Birthday/Christmas extra and help her out with her no longer teenaged skin.
I nominate my sister, simply because she is my best friend! She would be grateful for a good skin care system as she is in her puberty.
My friend Michelle, I would love to be able to give back to her in a gift all the support she’s showed me over the years!
Hi Karen, I would like nominate my Aunt Sandra. She has inspired me with her strength and resiliency while battling stage 4 throat Cancer this past year. After several chemo and countless radiation treatments, I am so thankful to say….she is now cancer free! As a side effect of her radiation, she still has blackened skin covering her entire neck area. I would love for her to use the Clarisonic cleansing system to see if this would help exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin damaged by her radiation treatments. The fading of these marks would help her self-esteem as she proudly rebuilds her life. I hope all the women warriors like her continue to have faith…Miracles can and do happen!
I nominate my sister, Breina 😀
She has been through a lot, I mean A LOT in the past few years, and the stress is really showing ): she’s such a great person,I think she needs this,,and would really love it.
I nominate my mom Janice. She has just turned 50 and needs something to help in keeping her skin youthful and smooth!
I nominate my mom! She breaks her back just to feed us and keep us happy, and she deserves every bit of luxury in her life.
Ooh, please pick me! I nominate my mom, because she works too hard and has never been to spa. BUT-she does enjoy pampering herself with beauty items and treatments at home, so I think she would love this!
Happy Holidays everyone!
I would nominate my best friend, Jenny. She such an amazing person & she’s always running around doing things for other people. She somehow manages to juggle school work, volunteer work at shelters, kids, & her family.
I nominate my best friend, Csilla. She is a young mom, and she hasn’t got time for beauty saloons, Clarisonic would be great for her. And here, in Hungary we cant buy this product. (Why? Hungarian people spend a lot of money for make up and beauty products!)
I would like to nominate my MOM…she has struggled for her whole life to provide me and my brother with best education. In the journey, she had to sacrifice all her ‘beauty’ needs….and lemmings…which i am sure she must have had when she was young. Now, at 52 she is happy and still glowing…seeing us settled well in life. I need that brush for her, more than i need it for me…:)
.-= resham’s last blog post… MONDAY MORNING… =-.
Hi Karen, I will nominate my 21 yr old daughter–she really needs this. I had something similiar when I was in high school and I used it religously and I think that’s why my skin is decent now in my old age!
Thank you for doing this giveaway!
I nominate my sister, first because she’s my sister and we like to do everything the same way, and secondly because when i have something she wants the same.
I nominate my mom. She is always surprising me with little presents to brighten my day (collage care packages are the best!). I would love to brighten her day and give her a gift to say thank you for all that shes done for me!
I nominate my brother because he’s always had problematic skin and I’d love to brighten his day. 🙂
Thanks for the terrific giveaway! I nominate my (marvelous) best friend. We’re both annoyed with the increasing number of fine lines on our faces and she’s been very frustrated by breakouts for the past couple years. I’ve heard that the Clarisonic is a miracle worker – so I’ll keep my fingers crossed!!
I nominate my mother. She’s definitely one of the most important people in my life and she most certainly deserves one of these. She works so hard and supplies me with endless support. I’d love her to have one.
I would nominate my mom because without her I wouldn’t be here(of course) 🙂 But she has stuck out with me even through the roughest times and I know that she would love this for Christmas.
I have been wanting one of these for so long! I would nominate my friend Amanda. She’s a dear friend and has been through so much this past year. We would both be psyched!
I nominate my bff Leslie she let me move in with her recently coz I lost my job. There’s nothing I would rather do than pay her back with a lil something to pamper herself. This would be amazing!!!!
I nominate my mom: she’s always been there for me, and I can’t think of anyone who deserves it more.
I would nominate my mom. She has bought my sister and I one and loves it but never buys anything for herself. EVER. Selfless has new meaning with this woman 🙂
Its funny…Apparently I am definetly not the only one who thinks mom deserves one!
i nominate my mom because she’s been sad lately and deserves to be pampered for all that she’s done for me and my sisters. thank you!
I nominate my mommy! She is in dire need of some pampering and I bet her oily skin would love this! Thanks for the giveaway Karen and Clarisonic! =)
.-= Aleksis’s last blog post… LOL =-.
I would nominate my mom…she has always showered us not only with her love but everything she has..she ALWAYS sacrifices on her needs and desires so me and my brother can get the little things in life… she has always put herself last after her family… it would be wonderful to give her something in return for a change 🙁
My sister Annie! She’d be so tickled pink because she’d NEVER ever let herself buy something like this, but to get it free…she’d die of excitment!
I nominate my friend Mary – one of my few female friends, my makeup buddy, one of the few who I am happy to talk about personal problems with (we have both gone through a lot in our immediate families) and she has sensitive skin that easily breakouts so she can benefit from this!! – AND we live in New Zealand where Clarisonic is unavailable!!!
I nominate my sister Marci. She’s the bff of sisters.
I nominate my friend Laura. She deserves a little pampering while she finishes up her work on her doctorate.
I nominate my mother, who taught me about good skin care early in life!
And also to share a disaster… in my search for a good eye creme I was trying out a new product, and I think it’s way to thick for me… for the first time in my life I got a pimple on the skin directly under my eye. Twice! Gross, I’m going to keep looking =)
I nominate my mother, because she never spoils herself, ever! And no one deserves to be pampered more than her.
I’d like to nominate my sister. She’s a new mom, and she’s been so busy taking care of her baby for the past year that she hasn’t had time to take care of herself like she used to. Being a mom is a tough job, and for that I think she truly deserves this lovely present.
I nominate my mom. It would definitely be a treat for her since she never spends too much money on herself and she is getting a little worried about her skin as she’s getting older.
I would like to give one to my mom. Lately shes been so stressed her aging process has quickened. Even though she is has a lot on her plate, she still drives me to all my clubs and after school activities. With SAT’s coming up, she still never fails to make a nice home cooked meal, even though she hates cooking. She has sacrificed so much for my Dad, brother and I. Whenever we go shopping and she doesn’t have enough on her, she’ll put away what she was going to get so I can get what I want. Shes been trying to find a miracle youth rejuventer. I hope she can get one! I love you mommy<3
I nominate my sister, because she’s been worrying lately about how her skin’s been changing and she’s been breaking out more often. This would help her a lot!
I nominate my mom! When I started to care of my skin, she sad to me : “Pay attention in what you eat and no matter what time you´re going to sleep, clean your face, carefully”.Well, it was hard in the beginning, but now that advices became rules, my skin don´t let me forget about it.
I nominate my mom – my hero, my best friend. She looks great at 54 but doesn’t take a lot of time for herself, which is always my job to spoil her at Christmas and get her everything that she won’t get herself. This is truly something that I’d love to give her but probably wouldn’t splurge on, she deserves it though.
Wow, what a great giveaway Karen 🙂
I’d nominate my lovely mum as she’d never buy something like this herself but I know she would love it! xx
I nominate my mom. She’s at the age where she should be retired already, but she continues to work because my brother and I are both still in school and she wants to give us a certain quality of life she never had when she was in college. She deserves this and so, so much more.
I nominate my best friend, Angie, who is my beauty buddy! We do so much makeup stuff together, it only makes sense that we’d take care of our skin together too! And she’s just awesome, thus she deserves one! =)
I nominate my friend Meh. She’s always there for me for the stupid and the heavy, no matter what, and ALWAYS responds to my panicked dressing room text messages even if she has finals coming up. (Not that I would know or anything from the last 24 hours, or anything…heh) Plus, her skin freaks out just like mine – I bet she’d love something that gets rid of her makeup and improves the texture of her skin!
I nominate my daughter, Alicia to receive a Clairsonic brush. This year has been really tough for Alicia. She’s gone through a very painful breakup, and I have seen her lose some confidence in herself. I am encouraging her to focus on herself and her personal growth to help her through this difficult time.
I nominate my younger sister! She’s always struggled with her skin and she’s about to be engaged; I’d love for her to feel more confident and comfortable with herself before she ties the knot!
I read MBB everyday and I always wished the giveaways included international readers. Thank you sooooo much Karen for ensuring that a Jamaican beauty like me would not be excluded from this once in a lifetime opportunity. I nominate my best friend Rusheda because its really bad in Jamaica right now (economically) and we have a tradition of exchanging gifts at Xmas and I can’t afford to do it this year.
I nominate my sister Marie. She’s my best friend and she really deserves to be pampered.
Thank you for this great giveaway!
I nominate my mother who has never spend a cent on herself in order to spend it on me. She is getting older and her health isnt as good so this would do a lot to cheer her up. She would never entertain spending this sort of money on herself.
I nominate my best friend Anna! She’s like my sister and she’s helped me go through the ups and downs of life. She’s currently going through some hard times and this will cheer her up!
I nominate my friend Susan because we’re both beauty fanatics at heart. Thanks!
I nominate my mom because she is always there to support me and is my best friend! Also, it would make a great gift for her that she totally deserves 🙂
I nominate my friend, Loren- b/c I think she would actually use it!
my best friend Rachel who is living in Albany and trying to get a job here at home in Rochester, we miss her!! also today is my birthday so that would be awesome!!
I nominate on of my best friends, Jennifer. I have known her since I was 10. She is the sweetest person with such a big heart! She has stuggled a lot in her life: a parent with an abusive habit that led to her parent’s divorce, starting over in a new town at a young age, and then that same parent’s life taken away because of liver failure. She is such a strong girl and a loyal friend, I couldnt think of some better who deserves this! She has also been struggling with skin issues her whole life; this would make her extremely happy! Thanks so much, Karen and Clarisonic for this great opportunity!!!
I nominate my friend, Tasha. She’s been my best friend for over 10 years, and is the most selfless, caring person I know. She’s a wonderful single mom and has been since the time i met her. This past year has been quite rough for her, so I think she deserves something like this to bring a smile to her face and brighten her day. 🙂
.-= Lesley’s last blog post… Joshua Radin?? Is That You?? =-.
I nominate my sister, she would love to have one as much as I would !
i nominate my mom ! i give her alll the credit in the world raising two kids by herself. She always makes sure my sister and i get what we want, she would NEVER treat herself to somthing like this. she would truly enjoy this.
thanks!
I nominate my friend Nikki who has been such an inspiration to me for being so postive and determined all the time.
I nominate my Mama Puff! She has ovarian cancer (in remission atm, thank goodness) and the chemo messed up her skin really bad. She misses the way her skin used to look…making Mama Puff feel beautiful again would be the best. 🙂
.-= sarahpuffy’s last blog post… Review: Victoria’s Secret Pro Radiant FX Face Illuminator =-.
I nominate my mom. She is selfless, thoughtful, and amazing! 🙂
I’d nominate my mother in law. The reason is because she helped me so much when I traveled to the States. I owe her my life, so a gift like this would make her day.
Thank you!!!
I nominate my best friend Melissa. The economy has forced her to make some major changes in her lifestyle, which included giving up any & all new beauty products. I’ve been passing some of my unloved products on to her but this would just make her day (and mine!)
My big sis Glen!
I nominate my mom because she taught me all I know about beauty and confidence. All the new tricks I find, she’s known them for ages and knows a better/easier way to do it. She’s truly selfless, caring and beautiful inside and out, and most importantly, a little crazy!
I nominate my mom! She is such a selfless woman and rarely treats herself to anything. Although I think she has pretty remarkable skin for someone her age, I know she has been looking for ways to treat some of her wrinkles and firm up her skin a bit! I love my mom for all the sacrifices she has made for our family and would love to spoil her with the Clarisonic!! Thank you Karen & Clarisonic!! 🙂
I nominate my mom. It’s been hard for both of us since I moved away and I would love to know she’s taking good care of herself when I’m gone.
I nominate my little sister Kira; she is THE biggest makeup buff I know and is considering a career as a professional makeup artist (for cinema) once she finishes college. This year she became extremely ill and ended up with permanently infected tonsils which are being surgically removed this friday in attempt to help her get better. I know she’s been considering purchasing one of these things, but cannot afford one. What better post-op gift then this? I know this would really brighten up her holiday!
PS, this explains why I couldn’t get to your website all day!
I nominate my sister Audrey. She has been suffering from depression since her partner died and might cheer up if she were to win a great self care product like the Clarisonic brush.
I nominate my sister! She’s always had problematic skin and I know she’d love to try this!
I nominate my mom. This has definetly been a really hard year for her and it may not get easier with our current economy. She has really sacrificed so much for me and I think she really deserves something to cheer her up. She’s had many skin conditions her whole life and she’s spent endless amounts of money to make sure that I would not have to suffer through those same conditions like she did. My mom would never buy herself anything fancy and I really want to see her get spoiled for a change.
I tried this earlier, but I don’t see my nomination, so I will try again. I nominate one of my students, Lindsay. She’s a senior in high school, getting ready to go to college, and is my TA. She’s more like a college TA than a high school TA, and I would love to be able to thank her by giving her a tool that will be useful to her as she heads into the stresses of college!
I’m an idiot. Please remove this post! I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to try to enter twice!
I nominate my mom; she splurges on me year-round and she could use a little pampering herself 🙂
I nominate my mom she has been working really hard to get her masters degree and she deserves some pampering. She never treats herself and she really deserves something nice, plus she loves skin care.
Yay for it being open to internationals!!!
I would love to give one of these to my mother. My Mum just turned 50 and I know she would never splurge on something like this for herself… even though she is willing to do anything for the people around her. She doesn’t look her age (and is naturally gorgeous) but I think something like this would be a good boost for her now that she feels that age is catching up with her skin. Thanks for the great giveaway!
I nominate my friend Jan. We have been through thick and thin together through losing a child (me) to losing a grandchild (her). We may not see each other for awhile, but we are able to just start where we left off. There is no bettr friend in the world
I nominate my bff “M”. This has been a hard year for her, the end of a long sickness with her Mom. She’s getting used to her new life (without having her Mom to run to to talk things out), but no matter how brave a face she puts on, she’s having a hard time. She’s beautiful, inside and out. She’s been doing things lately to make herself feel better, new clothes, rockin’ new do, flirting, and I think this would add to her confidence and bring a much needed smile to her face. She truly is a wonderful person, she’s out there today in crazy temperatures (-35°C) finishing my Christmas shopping for me because I’m a single mom and it’s hard to shop bringing the giftie with you!! I love her guts.
I nominate my mom, she works so hard and deserves pampering!
I nominate my friend Jeni. She’s always going out of her way to help others and it’s time for her to treat herself!
My mom has has an awful year… and I think I may have given her a few wrinkles! She needs the anti-aging properties of the clarisomic!
I would love to nominate my mom. She’s always been the strong one of the family. Had to suffer through nasty comments from my dad’s side of the family & the bitchyness of my dad is not fun neither. Lots of drama, that’s all I can say.
I definatly nominate my mom, because she truly deserves something special. I will proudly say that my mom is my best friend, and she means the world to me! past Christmases I have always given her a simple ten dollar gift for I couldn’t really splurge. It would be nice to be able to present her with a gift that is a bit more pricey and she will be able to use it everyday. When my mom was in her 20s, she used to care a lot for her skin and such, but now she’s a mommy of three, and with her work, she rarely has time to treat herself. My mom uses a simple St.Ives cleanser to take the day off her face and though I’ve tried to get her to use more expensive products for her delicate skin, she always tells me that it’s okay. I would love to see her opening her Clarasonic for christmas, and i’m positive she’ll love it! ^-^
I nominate my mum. She’s my best friend and advisor. Don’t think she would ever buy such a thing, but that would be a real treat to her.
Thanks, Karen, for this amazing giveaway and opportunity to participate for international readers!
I nominate my mom… she’s been through some very tough times recently but I’m so proud of how well she is coping and finally doing things for herself and to better herself and her situation. She never splurges on anything, but like me, she does love facials, and creams and cleansers and all those lovely goodies, so I think is something she’d really appreciate.
I nominate my sister Linly. LAst year was very hard for her as she encountered cancer. Now she is well and I want her to pamper herself. I’m pretty sure she will be pleased with this
I want to nominate my friend Caroline, she is going through a rough patch right now! I know she can pull through though 🙂
I’d like to nominate my beautiful mother. She does everything for everyone and is absolutely and completely the most unselfish person I know. She is the epitomy of a woman and mother.
i nominate my mom, she deserves the pampering & she needs to take better care of her skin 🙂
.-= Gina’s last blog post… happiness always returns =-.
I would love to nominate my sister Rachel for this( does that count?) because she is so sweet and generous all the time, and I would be thrilled to give this to her. She struggles with her skin, and I hate to see it knock her confidence level down. She really deserves to feel as beautiful as she is, and I’d love to be a part of making that happen!
Thank you so much for the chance!!!
I nominate my friend Cynthia – she is always there for me! She stayed with me on Chemo days.
I nominate my mom, because she’s an incredibly hard worker and has shown interest in the Clarisonic before. She would never buy it though, instead the money would go to paying for my sibling’s and I college.
I am nominating my mom. She always puts everyone before herself and this would a really wonderful gift for her! Thanks!!
I nominate my brother!! Cause he’s my best friend 🙂
My best friend. She has had a pretty tough year. She lost her father and could really use a good pick-me-up!
I nominate my mom, who has been working hardly as a teacher this year and who I’m not going to see for a while next year when I go to college.
I nominate my Daughter Krista…for always being there when I need her.
I nominate my mom, who just found out that her husband has kidney failure! 🙁 She could def use some pampering and happiness in her life!! Not to mention…. she is the one who got me obsessed with beauty products.
Thanks!!!
I nominate my roommate who has been through so much with me this year, and who has tolerate our messy room and impossible cooking. I love her and will miss her when I study abroad.
I nominate my mom because she never really spends money on expensive skincare. She likes taking care of her skin so I know that this is perfect for her!
I nominate my mom. She would be thrilled to get something like this and she really needs to take care of her skin more.
Goodluck to everyone 🙂
I nominate my mom. Her muscles are weak do to an illness so a clarisonic should make things a little easier. I don’t have a job because I’ve been trying to focus on school. I just want to give her something extra special for Christmas.
I nominate my mom because she is a wonderful mom and would love on of these.
I of course nominate my mom. My mom has fibromyalgia (nerve disorder) and is an inspiration to me everyday. Anything that makes her feel happy and beautiful is something i would want for her.
I nominate my lovely mom. She loves beauty products almost as much as I do, and . . . oh, yes: I lu-lu-LOVE her.
I nominate my mom! She grew up poor in southern china and fled to the united states to escape communism. I was always hoping I would have skin like hers (didn’t happy, boo)! It was smooth, clear, soft, and beautiful. She never cared for her skin because she was too busy raising my brother and me, and yet somehow it still remained so lovely. Now that she’s getting older, her skin (although still very nice) is starting to age. I would love to be about to give her this so she can know it’s okay to be pampered!
I nominate my mum. She’s had a tough year in many ways, but recently she’s had some pre-cancerous lesions removed from her face, which has left her with visible scars. If she won the clarisonic, it would help her to feel like she was doing something good for her skin and make her feel better about it.
I would nominate my brother. My entire family has had acne, but he suffers the worst. He is 13, and he cries almost every night about his problem. It hurts me to see him this upset. Clear skin is a gift that will keep on giving…
I nominate my mom, who works tirelessly to make sure that we have a good life against all odds. She’s my hero!
I nominate my cousin Talitha. She works so hard as a teacher, and especially now that she is expecting her first little one (2 months after my first little one is due!) she could use some pampering! Well hey – we both could – pregnancy is tough! 🙂
I nominate my cousin Kari. She has dealt with a lot throughout her life, her mom left when she was young, her dad passed away this year, but she is a wonderful person and she is raising a great family. She deserves something special just for her! She is not only a great cousin, she is a great friend.
I would nominate my mom because this year has been really hard for her and she hardly does anything for herself anymore. 🙁
I nominate my mom. She’s had acne her whole teenage life and onwards, even til now as a 45 year old. She’s never found anything that completely works for her. It always gets better, then returns. I really hope this is the answer for her because she can’t afford any luxury or expensive washes or creams because she has had to file bankruptcy because her father decided to move out of the country out of the house under her name (but her parents were supposed to pay), so it got reposessed. I really hope the Clarisonic will give her her confidence back, especially at a tough financial time for her like this.
I would like to nominate my niece, Sonia Ann. We have a difficult relationship, but I nonetheless love her and would love to share something like this with her. She’s been having a tough few months with starting graduate school and dealing with a less-than-perfect job. In truth, this is probably more for her than it is for me. She could use a treat like this:)
My sister, Danielle, has had a pretty tough year and is a bit down on herself these days. She could really use a pick-me-up.
I nominate my mom. She always puts our family first, and she could use a little pampering for heself.
I would love to nominate my best friend/sister in-law because she has had a lifetime of horrible skin problems. She has tried almost everything! However, she has not tried the Clairisonic. I love her dearly and would love to help her find a solution to something that has caused such problems for her. Thank you for such a fantastic give away!
I nominate my mom. She always puts our family first, and she could use a little pampering for herself.
I nominate my mom. She’s an amazing woman and would do anything for me, but doesn’t always do things for herself. This would be a nice treat for her especially with how difficult her year has been with work.
I would love to nominate my mother. She’s a beautiful woman, inside and out, but the stress of living in a new country and being unable to find a job is affecting her. I would love to help cheer her up this Christmas with such a wonderful gift because the family enjoys her smile, and she truly does deserve the best. (:
I would love to give one to my adult daughter who is still battling skin breakouts. Even her dermatologist has suggested trying a Clarisonic. Thank you for hosting this fabulous giveaway.
I nominate my friend Sar.
recently she has been going through a tough time, which…though we are close friends she has yet to open up to me about. She’s in my thoughts and my prayers, and I’m just waiting for her to be comfortable enough to let me help/share in her difficulties. I do think that part of this stems from her recent (past year) trouble with her skin, and I think that the classic might be a way for me to show how I do care, and for her to work on it as well.
I nominate my mom. She is always doing kind things for others- from her family to her kindergarten students, and never has time for herself. She taught me how fun it is to play with makeup and have a beauty routine, and I know she would love a Clarisonic!
I nominate my mom. She is always going out of her way to help my dad and I out. She’s always working hard around the house and cooking, so she rarely has the time to really pamper herself. She’s always putting others before herself, so I think she deserves a little treat for being so kind. 🙂
I would like to nominate my friend Rachel. She has been working in the skincare industry for years & she loves it! She sadly lost her job a couple weeks ago 🙁 she does everything for everybody else by donating & voluntering her time to needy people!! I think it would make her chritmas seeing as she doesn’t have enough money to get anything for herself.
Happy Holidays Everyone!!!
i nominate my mom! she works extremely hard and deserves something to get pampered with!
I nominate my sister. She’s always hard at work and putting her family before her. This would be a great gift for her becuase it’s a quick an easy way for her to pamper herself on a daily basis.
I nominate my mother! She spent the greater part of her adult life not only ranching but raising three children with my dad often on the other side of the world. Now that we’ve grown up, she has some time to herself, and I can’t think of a person I would like to see more with at least a little luxury and indulgence in her every day life.
I’d also give it to my friend who’s lived across the street.
We’ve known each other since we were 5 years old, the summer before 1st grade started.
I had just moved into the block and because we were so little, we weren’t allowed to cross the street. We started yelling at eachother, “I HATE YOU!” for some random reason and when we went into our classroom I noticed the same girl sitting there. At first, we “hated” eachother… then we got closer and closer and until this day she is my best friend.
She’s done so much for me while I grew up, and I think I’m still growing because of her. She’s the one I could tell about problems with my parents or my brother. When i was crying and down because of stress or boys I went to her house to cry on her bed.
I feel like because I was involved with so many more extracurricular stuff, I didn’t give her the time she gave me.
She’d be so excited about the Clarisonic brushes.
I nominate my friend, Ting, who is going back to Malaysia for good in January. She is going through some relationship problems because of that. We’ve been friends thoughout college years, and she is a supportive friend! I want to treat her something good to cheer her up and show my support and care for her!Clarisonic will make a great farewell gift as well!
Thanks Karen!
I nominate my mom. She recently started having a bit of problems with her skin (more dry and flakes) and I’m sure the Clarisonic would help.
I nominate my best friend Allison. She has always been there ever since we were little. Now she is packing up & moving to Louisiana do rotations. After she is done she will finally have her Master’s. She would be excited to have a way to have fresh skin even when she won’t feel so fresh.
I’d like to nominate my mom!
She’s def. into skindcare, and she’d love the clarisonic !
