Malie Organics
Treat yourself to natural beauty with organic skin care products from Hawaii. The folks at Malie (mah-lee-ay) created this wonderful line of body care products and home fragrances using ingredients from the lush, tropical rain forests and rich volcanic soil of the ancient Garden Island of Kauai. I love the pretty packaging, and the scents remind me of Hawaii.
Body & Soul Cosmetics
Body & Soul makes a complete line of high-quality cosmetics in classic colors paired with vintage-inspired packaging. The line brings back a time when cosmetics were crafted to be glamorous, so that women could adorn their vanities with jeweled compacts, crystal perfume bottles and delicate powder puffs. Ooh, la, la — sign me up!
Philip Rickard Honolulu
Philip Rickard jewelers creates high-end Hawaiian heirloom jewelry, a popular jewelry style here in the islands characterized by gold bangles and intricate engravings of Hawaiian symbols and words. Gwen Stefani is a fan and wore some of Rickard’s bracelets in her music video for the song Luxurious.
Lei Spa, Maui
Lei Spa is more than a spa. Located here on Maui in the city of Lahaina, this low key spa offers full spa services along with a line of Hawaiian natural lotions, oils, perfumes and specialty products like their Purifying Mud Mask and Relaxing Mineral Bath with Jasmine & Orchid. I visited the spa a few years ago with friends, and it was one of the best deep tissue massages I’ve ever had in my life.
Maui’s Winery at Ulupalakua Ranch
No joke, but this is an actual winery located upcountry here on Maui. They have a wine tasting room and historic buildings on beautiful grounds, and it makes a fun day trip. They carry a variety of fruit-themed wines (yes, even grape), but their pineapple white wine is my favorite. They sell a variety through their website.
We’re still on Maui. I found another beauty brand that I think you’ll really like, but I won’t be able to share it until I have time to download the pictures, which will hopefully be later tonight. I hope you’re having a great weekend so far.
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

I used to buy body and soul at sephora. I don’t think they carry it anymore. I really like the powders tho.
