I stepped in five puddles on my way to DSW today. It’s been pouring! Before the past two hours, during which we’ve had a brief sunny respite, I’d seen the sun twice all week long. But that’s OK! Because spring is here! — she said, rocking herself back and forth. The sun will be here any time.
All we have to do is hang in there, and to pass the time we can talk about cute sandals. 🙂
I went to DSW today with Novato’s littlest shoe fanatic, who was very opinionated, by the way. She had no qualms about telling me which shoes passed muster.
I saw a bunch of cute sandals while we were there…
1. B.O.C. Adney Flat Sandal in Blush ($39.99)
Like these B.O.C. blush flats. The foot bed was squishy and comfortable, and I love the little petals.
2. Dr. Scholl’s Wander On Flat Sandal ($49.99)
The rubber bottom makes these Dr. Scholl’s Wander On Flats look a little like hospital shoes, but I like how the fabric twists on the top.
3. Sam Edelman Gates Sandal ($39.99)
I like these mostly because they remind me of Snuffleupagus.
4. Kelly & Katie Bania Flat Sandal ($39.99)
They’re faux leather, but they look more expensive than $40 to me. And there’s something very Jackie O. about them.
5. Sam Edelman Grace Sandal ($39.99)
The cutest beaded detail! I like the mixed metal action happening, too. I think these would go with lots of different outfits.
6. Katy Perry Watermelon Sandal ($39.99)
I had no idea Katy had a shoe line.
Granted, these look like the most uncomfortable sandals ever, but I’ve never seen fruit so front and center on a sandal before, LOL!
I love the color of these, but man, that jelly rubber would make my feet sweet like CRAY.
7. Katy Perry Lemon Sandal ($39.99)
Pucker up! There’s also a lemon ? version.
8. Franco Sarto Derek Wedge Sandal ($59.99)
Ah, Franco Sarto, love of my life! These are cute. 🙂 I could do without the double buckle (it’s one more buckle than I want to deal with), but I like the wedge action, and it has just enough height for me.
9. Crown Vintage Lillee ($49.99)
If I didn’t have to chase down a tubby tabby and a toddler everywhere from point A to point B, I’d wear these wedges in a hot second, especially the dark brown.
But AGAIN with the double buckles? WHY!?
10. Dolce Vita Parin ($49.99)
These slides look perfect for vacation. Can’t you see them with a cute sundress? I’m really diggin’ the printed ones, but the denim version looks more versatile.
11. Kelly & Katie Fionah Wedge Sandal ($49.99)
Check out that gold wedge texture. Ooh, fancy!
12. G by Guess Dalina Wedge Sandal ($49.99)
CUTE! Again, if I wasn’t rolling deep in #tabbytoddlerlife, I’d wear this in a hot second.
13. Marc Fischer Kick Off Wedge Sandal ($59.99)
OK, I may have to give in and get these, even if I don’t wear them for a few years, because there’s so much good going on! I love the black suede, the ruffles on the front, the blanket stitching, and the single strap, YAY!
AND IT’S A PLATFORM. Which I can totally handle.
14. Aerosoles Yetroactive ($49.99)
So, this is more my current speed. Cute, super low heel, comfy-looking foot bed.
15. Roxy Lola Flip-Flop ($26.99)
I regret not bringing these flip-flops home with me… 🙁 They definitely look more dressy than my regular flip-flops. I think they’d go with a lot, and I like the braided metallic straps.
16. Dolce Vita Paci Wedge Sandal ($49.99)
Orange POP!
17. Franco Sarto Riviera ($49.99)
This is just a simple slide, but I bet it would look cute with a maxi dress.
I like the studs around the bottom, and I’m pretty sure these are real leather.
18. Diva Dreamer ($59.99)
LOVE ? the cutouts, the color and the low heel.
See anything ya like?
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
Most of the flats seem to have a non-supportive base. If you can stand not having arch support, they might be okay. The Katy Perry ones look silly, but I’m sure a lot of teenagers and younger would like to wear them. I agree with the foot sweat comment – a plastic base is unacceptable for me for that reason. The wedges look like a broken-ankle accident waiting to happen. If you could keep the wedge to less than 1 1/2″ inches, they’d probably be okay. I have some Merrell flip-flops I got at DSW some years ago. They’re well-designed and supportive. Propet sandals also tend to be well-designed and supportive.
I definitely have to hit up a DSW soon! Those sandals are all so cute, and definitely make me long for summery weather. FYI, most of the double buckle ones have a zipper, so once you get the settings right on the buckles, you won’t have to mess around with them on the daily. Thanks for another awesome post!
Seems like double buckles are a trend this year. My legs aren’t long enough to pull that look off well. Didn’t know Aerosoles were still being made. Had a couple of pairs back in the day and they were some of the most comfy shoes to wear. I have a pair of flip-flop sandals by Børn with a hibiscus on the strap and they’re also super comfy to wear.
I was at DSW in the Mall of America last weekend (on a mini vacay) and I got a pair of heeled sandals for a dress I have. I almost got those flat Franco Sarto’s on your list! Make sure you look for coupons; I found one I could’ve used on their website but I was already on my way home!
I love this round up! So many cute shoes. I love browsing the aisles at DSW. I usually hit the clearance rack first because I’ve found some great deals there. The Aerosoles Retroactive are calling my name! Now only if it would stop snowing so I could actually wear sandals. Happy Friday!
….Tubby?!
Or husky tabby! He’s actually trimmed down a lot in the last few years, but he’ll always be my husky kitty baby.
OMG, so many adorable sandals at your DSW I can hardly breathe! Those Katy Perry’s are so cute for the beach. I saw a number of espadrille styles that I would love. We’ve still got snow on the ground here so I’m not sure if those sandals are at DSW here yet, but I’m going to go and look! Have a good weekend 🙂

I’m headed to DSW tomorrow! I just accepted a new job (eee!) and need some slightly nicer shoes for work, plus it’s getting warmer!
Connor is adorable, as usual.
The Aerosoles and Franco Sarto can go ahead now and get in my feet. I am also really wanting this Steve Madden Shoe called the Wedgie, yes for realz, and is a light gray wedge sneaker. So cute! But almost 90 bucks:( someone talk me out of them!
