Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
I used to work at Blockbuster, and I caught someone stealing DVDs once.
Reading this blog keeps me sane while studying all day (for 5 weeks now!) for my medical school exams 🙂
I’m easy going but can be very stubborn when I feel passionate about something 🙂
The funiest person in my family are my 2 yellow labs, Bandit and Rowdy.
I really love Sleek cosmetics and wish they were carried in stores in the states! I’ve heard that maybe that’s coming though…
The funniest person in my family is my cat Chloe!
I once absent-mindedly put a book I hadn’t paid for in my purse. My boyfriend at the time asked if I had ever stolen anything before, to which I casually replied “no,” not knowing why he was asking it. Anyway, I realized what I had done a few minutes later when I couldn’t find the book I wanted to buy!
I actually rocked a smokey eye just this past Tuesday, I always steer clear of black shadow 95% of the time but everytime I wear it I get alot of complimentary remarks about my eyes, I actually used burgandy in the inner corner and a touch of it as well in the transition it came out pretty cool (: Also a brand I love one if not the only non high end makeup lines I use is sleek makeup and yes I wish it was carried in the u.s (:
I am working, of course. Then I am off to Mike’s son’s hockey game and play offs in the evening. Tomorrow work again! Hope you have a great weekend, Karen!
I’m terrible at smokey eyes and can’t even get my friends who are good at it to execute a decent one on me. It’s a conundrum. The funniest person in my family is my sister. She can get away with saying anything without sounding mean or judgy. If I said the same stuff I’d be in big trouble!
I unfortunately have seen people stealing quite a bit. At my past job as a prestige manager at ULTA, we see people steal all the time. There is nothing we can do about it because we are not allowed to approach the people for our own safety. It is so sad to watch people come in and swipe a shelf filled with Urban Decay, Too Faced, Anastasia, Tarte, etc. and they just get away with it unless we can identify them through the cameras and get a car and license plate. We all work so hard for our money and so many of us save and and save to buy a lipstick, eye palette, mascara, whatever we have been eyeing on youtube so that we can feel that completion and creativeness go through us! To watch others come in and take without a second thought is heartbreaking. Makeup is an art that is overlooked and gets such a bad reputation, and part of that is because people come and steal what others respect enough to work hard for.
I wear a smoky eye every day. I’m trying to get out of that rut but just can’t.
K T & CC – Due to the way my payday fell I was unable to take advantage of Sephora’s VIB sale :(. The day after I did order the final Nars Audacious Lipstick to complete my collection – Deborah. At first I was uninterested in her, but w the re-emergence of 90s brown, I’m now excited.
I didn’t even care what the color looked like … I just wanted to have a lippy in my stash that had my name in it! LOLOL
The funniest person in my family is my fiance’.He is always doing something crazy that makes everyone laugh. That is one quality of his that attracted me to him..his sense of humor.
Sleek cosmetics
I’m trying to be more easy-going.
My Dad is so funny. He loves to watch my brother and I fail miserably while playing video golf. He giggles so much he starts to wheeze and that makes us all laugh even harder.
My mom is the funniest person in my family.
I have not yet found my holy grail nude lipstick. The struggle is real. ?
I know it’s out there and I will find it. I just hope it won’t be discontinued right after I find it! ?
Hi Karen! I’ve got hooded Asian eyes and just started trying out winged eye liner with a tiny flick. Dang, it’s so hard!!!!!
What’s your favorite liner? What’s the best liner for the waterline?
I would LOVE for makeup forever to be sold here in Bermuda … But it’s OK, I travel a couple of times a year and hit up Sephora every time!!
I like the designs on the tartelette in bloom pallett.
Never seen anybody steal anything!
I am the funniest person in my family … And I am relatively easy going with a small dose of stubbornness for good measure!!
Don’t really do a smokey eye much .
I’m the funniest person in my family! 🙂
What’s your favorite makeup line that isn’t widely carried in your home country?
Where to start with this one! I’m from Belgium and the only things we have here that you can go swatch at a store are MAC and Urban Decay. I’ve ordered Nars, Smashbox and Too Faced online and Too Faced is by far my favorite brand. The sad thing is that there are so many brands I want to try but are not available in Europe like Becca, Lorac and Tarte. I wish we had like a decent Sephora here :c
The funniest person is my family is my mother – the best dry humor!
I am incredibly stubborn and type A. Anyone who describes me as easygoing doesn’t really know me. 🙂
Sounds silly but I can never rock a smokey eye!
I’m very easy going! I could probably be a little more stubborn, ha!
I don’t do smoky eyes! I don’t like them on me. I did a good one on my best friend for her wedding a few years ago though.
Hi karen, hope you and baby Connor Claire are doing well. I’m pretty easy going. I used to be pretty shy but I’ve loosened up some over the years. I can probably thank my fiance for that, lol.
I wear a smokey eye almost every evening I go out – it’s do easy to pop a black eyeliner and q-tip in my bag to make my face more dramatic at the end of the day!
I still think the most beautiful design on a makeup product (not eyeshadow, I know) is MAC Marine Life! Love that seahorse!! For eyeshadow, I like how the NARS dual intensity shadows have the cool pattern on them and MAC Extra Dimension shadows too.
last time I wore a smokey eye was probably last weekend. I tend to wear them a lot. Smokey eye til I die!
Erin recently posted … Lynnderella Friday, Vol. 39- Finally Spring!!
My favorite makeup brand that’s not readily available in my country (USA) is Sleek.
I watched a man put about 6 steaks in his pants at my local grocers. I was shocked but then got the giggles. Obvs he got caught lol. Sending you rest and a time out just for you!
The prettiest eyeshadow palette I have seen is the Hourglass Modernist Eyeshadow. It is so beautiful, but I wish they had less fallout. 🙁
I’m the funniest in my family lol!
My husband is definitely the funniest on purpose but we probably laugh the most at the baby and her hilarious sounds and the faces she pulls.
I haven’t worn a smokey eye in a while! Used to wear them a lot when I first started wearing makeup, probably because everything I tried ended up turning into a not so great smokey eye 😛
I have to ‘fess up and admit that I’m more stubborn than easygoing (and I also think I’m the funny one in the family).
I loooove NYX, but it’s surprisingly hard to find their products in Manhattan. I’ve only seen them at Ricky’s, but the selection doesn’t include their new releases. 🙁 Thank goodness Ulta had that buy two get one free NYX sale though haha!
Anastasia Beverly Hills! Argh! We can get her fantastic brow products in the UK, but no liquid lipsticks or single eyeshadows. Tell me US lovelies-am I missing out?!?
The funniest person in my family is hands down my brother, any time I feel sad or not feeling well he always find a way to make me laugh.
Last time I rocked a smokey eye was back in early March!
I wish that the U.S. carried more Lumene! The skincare is awesome, but I’d love to have access to their makeup line (all I’ve been able to easily find online is their mascara). The European blogs I read make me so jealous.
i really miss illamasqua being available in the us. their foundation is my favorite ever & i used to be able to get it at my local sephora. now i have to order it online from the uk & i’m just not going to do that very often. plus i like to be able to see the new things! it’s a huge bummer 🙁
I’m definitely stubborn, and so is my mom! It runs in the family 😉
I am going to travel a lot in a few months and I am so looking forward to it. There would be a lot of beaches, though I love mountains more.
Nivedita recently posted … Products I have used up and products I am throwing away in February-March, 2016.
Thanks so much for this giveaway. The funniest person in my family is my 16 year old son. No matter what, he has a quick comeback, that is really funny. My husband and I are pretty dry in the humor department. The only person I can think that my son takes after, is my brother. He’s also quick and funny too.
I love SUQQU cosmetics and really wish they had counters here in the U.S. Ah, just as well, because I would have an even larger makeup collection. This gives me an excuse to beg to tag along on Dear Husband’s business trips to Japan.
Dear Husband and Dear Daughter are in Korea on a business trip, so I’m on my own this weekend. I’m cat sitting my daughter’s cat, so now I have two fur beasts in my house. Even though I’m on a “no new buy” (I’m allowed to replace anything I use up or wear through) this year, I think I will just go for a walk to the mall and browse.
Hi I am normally very easygoing but when i have to buff my eyeshadow I am very sttuburn. 🙂
I am stubborn. So is my husband. Which makes our daughter… Yeah. I’m really trying to correct my behavior but when I know in right I’m not going to give in. Hmm. Well, smokey eyes I try to do but I’m so pale they end up looking really awful half the time. And I absolutely have never been able to use liner in my waterline. It makes my eyes red, look smaller, and washes away. Perhaps I’ll try it again and see if I can do it. I’m trying new things and I may as well give it a shot. 🙂
I am sooo stubborn! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
And my husband is the funniest person I know!!
I believe I’m the funniest person in my family, and no one will be able to change my mind about that… because I’m stubborn, too!
Stubborn, for sure!
It’s been about a week or so since my last smokey eye!
I’ve actually never worn a smokey eye before.
Happy gorgeous weather Saturday! I lay rocked a smoky eye three weeks ago when I got my makeup done art the NARS counter art Nordstrom’s Beauty Trend Event. It was FABULOUS…& expensive. LOL!
Happy Saturday! I hope you’re having a great day. Looking forward to seeing more of your little bundle of joy and watching her grow and learn in the ways of her beautiful mama!
Morning, dude. That line would be blackUp. From my understanding, it was created with minorities in mind. Sephora now carries the brand but it’s only online, I think. I so wish it were sold in a store near me. I’d love to swatch & play & maybe get an eyeshadow (or two). 🙂
Mangos are yummy
The funniest person in my family was my dad. He passed away 7 years ago but I still laugh thinking of some of our adventures!
I have not mastered the smokey eye as of yet but I think it looks gorgeous if done correctly. I think eventually I will get it right though. 🙂
Can’t get a smoky eye to look good on me. Have watched so many tutorials and still can’t get it to look right
Kat Von D and ABH are painfully nonexistent in the UK. It’s so so sad. I have to plan expensive shopping trips, I mean holidays, to the US to get my fix ! :’D :'(
Thanks.
I’m super excited about the weather on the east coast this weekend. No more snow, hello sunshine! 🙂
I haven’t rocked a smokey eye since January! I’m going through a “natural no makeup makeup” phase at the moment. And that’s a hard look to pull off with acne but I’m definitely getting better at doing a good base
About when was the last time you rocked a smokey eye?
Last time I rocked a smoky eye? College! HAHAHHA! I try to avoid it because at the end of the day I looked like a raccoon lololol
Smashbox is my fav makeup brand, but not readily available in my country 🙂
Most beautiful eyeshadow pan: the “Nude Dudes” from the Balm! You can’t go wrong with hot naked guys (covered by the shadows, of course!) I’ve had it for ages but haven’t used it because I don’t want to ruin it – it’s my all time favorite packaging!
My cat “Shakespeare” wanted to vote, too. He loves the “Shupette” Shu Uemura eyeshadow trios, featuring Karl Lagerfeld’s lovely cat!
Honorable mention to the MAC “Toledo” collection. They look like Picasso paintings. I’m an Art History major, so you know I’m loving that!
I’m super stubborn.
I’ve never done a smokey eye! Sad, but true. I don’t think I have the know-how, plus I don’t really have anywhere to wear it.
My hubby is the funniest person in our family. His whole family has a whole lot of humor.
I definitely more easy going! I can’t hold grudges!
Happy Saturday. It’s been a very pleasant day thus far so I’m going to binge watch ‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’ season 2 on Netflix. Have you ever watched it before? It’s pretty funny (corny at times as well lol).
Have an awesome weekend.
i have not seen anyone steal anything before
the funniest person in my family is my sister
I was just thinking recently about how much I wish sleek makeup was available in stores. As far as I know you can’t get it in U.S. stores. It would be nice to see their products in person instead of just online ?
My brother’s the funniest person in our family!
Playoff season!!! Lets go Warriors! 🙂
Today’s our 39th wedding anniversary. I can’t believe it’s been that long.
I’m loving the BeautyBlender in Nude… even though I hate the pink beauty blender and think they’re such a gimmick.
My birthday is tomorrow!
I am more easy going for the most part. If something or a situation is of an important nature I will stand up and speak out depending on the issue. I don’t have to prove I’m right or anything like that. Some things just aren’t that important. Others will grow and learn for themselves or not.
I hope you are having a great week end. Give Connor Claire (got to remember the correct spelling) a big kiss. Thanks so much.
The funniest person in my family is my son Aleksandar…has 14 months! ?
I am stubborn. But I believe it’s a good feature. Knowing what you want and knowing how to get it is really important!
I live in Sweden so I wished we had Lorac, Becca and Hourglass! But I shouldn’t complain too much since things have really improved here since Sephora opened and I visit the states twice a year. Becca, Hourglass can be ordered from the UK and part of the Tarte collection is avaiable at QVC UK. What I really miss is Lorac and IT Cosmetics! The brands I have mentioned are a lot cheaper in the states than here. But then again By Terry, Guerlain and basically all the French pharmacy brands are way more expensive in America. So, I really shouldn’t complain but it is tough when I have the urge to swatch something not to be able to do it. I would be lost without great Internet swatches.
Trying to get out of my makeup rut so I just ordered a bunch of different eye shadows from Sephora’s sale. Can’t wait for them to come!
I saw a guy break into a car and grab a gym bag out, right in front of me. I found the owner of the car and it turns out that all that got stolen were some dirty gym clothes!
My mom is the funniest person in the family, without meaning to be. She can never get the names of things right – for example, saying, “I don’t understand why everyone is putting all their personal business out there on Spacebook!”
I am generally easygoing except for when I feel very strongly about something.
I haven’t done a smokey eye in a couple of months.
i just saw the person selling pastries (for a charity) put a brownie in her pocket. i laughed
Hi Karen 🙂
Hope you and Connor Claire are doing well!
I really like my Sleek palettes! Although I’m getting intrigued by all this Italian makeup Carolina is posting…
For me, my level of stubbornness or easygoing-ness (lol) depends on the topic or situation. However, I’m someone who values hearing and understanding multiple perspectives, so even if I’m being stubborn on my own opinion, I still want to hear others’ experiences.
I live in the US and I am sad that collection and barry m isn’t carried here.
My brother is the most hilarious person in my family!
Love smokey eyes but since I am a schoolteacher rarely have a chance to wear them. I guess it’s been about a month.
my son is the funniest in our family
Stubborn. So very stubborn.
My brother is definitely the funniest person in my family, but I don’t let him know that because his ego is already big enough!
Today I’m actually trying to give my skin a bit of a breather with no makeup!
Every time I try to rock a smoky eye I feel like a raccoon.
My husband is the funniest person I know. 🙂
I just rocked a smokey eye on Monday!
What am I doing today? I’m posting photos of my cats on Facebook. Isn’t that what everyone does on Caturday? 😉
I am easygoing. Thank you for the giveaway!
The funniest member of my family is my chubby tuxiecat, Pocket.
Before becoming a SAHM, I worked in retail management for 10 years so yea.. I’ve definitely seen a lot of attempted theft!
I think I’ve worn a smokey eye about once in my life! I love the way it looks on others, but it just doesn’t suit me!

I wished I could get my hands on Bourjois healthy mix serum foundation. I would purchase it online, but I’m horrible at choosing color. Walgreens had it at some point, but oh well.
I haven’t rocked a smokey eye since Christmas
I can definitely be stubborn at certain times, usually easy going through
Finally some spring weather! Makes me wanna shop for new spring wardrobe…
I am currently rocking a smokey eye right now as I type this
I don’t think I’ve ever rocked a good smokey eye!!! I’ve tried before in the past but it was just horrible. I don’t go to many night time events so I don’t feel the need to practice it. I’ve never had my makeup done professionally and I’ve never had a makeover done by a friend. One day !
I have never seen anybody steal anything before and i’m glad!
“What’s your favorite makeup line that isn’t widely carried in your home country?”
Definitely NARS!!!!!! I love Nars eyeshadows and the eyeshadow Primer and would love to buy a foundation, but it is hard to find a colour without trying it out and match it.
I also really like Too Faced.
Love L’Oreal lip colors in reds.
I wish I could say I was easy going but I definitely fall in the stubborn category. :/
Sleek cosmetics
Whether I’m stubborn or easy-going depends on the topic, how much stake I have in the situation, etc. For the most part I try to balance things and take all the factors into consideration!
I decided to try a sweet potato black bean burger for the first time last night… I LOVE sweet potatoes (AND black beans) and I think it was a little too much sweet potato for me.
What’s your favorite makeup line that isn’t widely carried in your home country? I’d have to say Zoeva and Sleek. I’d love it if those were more easily available.
Have you ever seen anybody steal something before? Yes.
Are you more stubborn, or easygoing? Stubborn, for sure.
One time when I was walking through the mall, I saw this guy steal a tacky hat from this store. It was really easy for him to get away with because the display was practically out of the store. So he just grabbed it and hid behind the wall and walked away.

Someone already mentioned but I have to heartily agree…as someone from the US, I miss Illamasqua terribly. Their support of the Sophie Lancaster foundation means the world to me, and their nail polishes have no equal.
I work as a caregiver for people with behavioral problems and developmentally disabilities. I have stopped them from stealing by catching them myself many times. But sometimes they have gotten it past me and I discover it later. I still have to take them shopping, it’s my job. They sure keep things interesting!
Funny, easy going or smokey eye make up are words that are not used to describe me. The funniest people in my family are my kids. They crack me up every day.
Pick me! 😀
My favorite makeup line that isn’t sold here is skinfood. MOre places are selling Asian beauty products, but it is definitely still harder to find except on the Internet.
I love the Sleek product line. My daughter is an amazing person. She towed her car and hauled all her belongings to move back to our home state, a 10 hr drive, all by herself. Such a very capable independent person. I’m so proud of her.
I really like several Korean brands: Missha, Innisfree, Etude House. More and more, you can find them in the states, but not the most conveniently.
About when was the last time you rocked a smokey eye?
I did an AMAZING brown and gold smokey eye tonight for an event.
It was a hit, first time trying it and I felt gorgeous. Only draw back is I just can’t get over the gold in the inside corners of my eyes, I have to keep reminding myself I don’t have gunk in my eyes, gross I know but there it is!
LOVE that someone answered the funniest people in her family are the dogs, can so relate!
It’s not a line, but it’s much harder to find perfume in rollerballs in Australia than it is in the US. Australian online stores just don’t have anywhere near the selection American ones do (even the Aussie Sephora vs the US Sephora) so I placed an order for some perfumes for my mom to send me from the states. Turns out the USPS won’t send perfume! D: *very unhappy panda*
I am more easy going than stubborn but sometimes that changes.
I am a very easygoing person the stubborn one is my husband
I think the last time I rocked a smokey eye was about a month ago. I wish I had the dedication to do it more often!
Thanks for the giveaway, Karen! 🙂
I wish we could get Bourjois in the US!
I spent too much money at the Sephora 15% off event.
My sister is the funniest person in my family. She has a dry, quick wit.
Ok first and foremost it’s my birthday today, it’s Saturday and my husband and I will go out for a dinner but I woke up at the wrong side of the bed today so i was in a bad mood all day. Surprisingly I manage to do a Smokey eye, this is almost close to perfect(well as per my standard). I think today I rock a Smokey eye on my birthday.
My favorite foreign line is definitely everything shared on this blog by Carolina!
I really wish by terry was easier to get ahold of in the US or at least in my area. I’d also love to have access to Sleek as a more affordable option.
What’s your favorite makeup line that isn’t widely carried in your home country?
I think LA Girl and NYX , I am cruelty free make up buyer, and those brands have wat I need.
anyone , any remedies for swollen feet while pregnant?
huge truck pulled by flatbed truck.
I wish more Korean makeup brands were in the stores here in Canada. I especially love Etude House but I have to order online which means I have to wait a few weeks to get whatever it is in my hands and I’m impatient! 🙁
I once saw some teens steal a case of beer from a 7-11.
Im originally from England and love Sleek and Collection 2000. I wish both brands were more readily available here in the US.
I wish we had the Korean skin care stuff in the US
About when was the last time you rocked a smokey eye? It’s been years.
Definitely more stubborn than easygoing (unfortunately!) haha
Don’t know how to rock a smoky eye!
I am pretty easygoing !
I am from Italy and I would like to have Collistar and Bourjois here in USA.
In stubborn but not as much as my daughter. LoL. I wish my mother was still alive. She sold both Mary Kay and Avon, did very well at them. She won cars with Mary Kay. When I was younger I loved watching her do the demos.
My youngest sister is the funniest in my family
i am more stubborn but also easygoing
Happy Caturday, Karen and fam!
I like to think it’s knowing what I want and wanting to accomplish things without help, but my family says it’s stubbornness.
Yay only one week till the horse show I planned, and then I get some major me time spending, new shoes at least!
My mom is the funniest person I know!
Good sales and getting my tax refund means I had fun buying makeup this past week which helps from recovering emergency dental surgery
The funniest person in my family is definitely my little guy. He makes us laugh all day long.
I hope you had a wonderful day, it was beautiful out today.
I don’t ever rock a smoky eye, because I end up looking like a raccoon. My eyes are small to begin with, so a minimal waterline on top with mascara is my go to.
I don’t even remember the last time I wore a serious smokey eye! Mommy hood keeps you wanting to rock that easy comfy style!!
I like to think that I am the funniest person in my family 😛
I’m always playing with make up , i did a smokey eye last night , looked pretty awesome , thanks for the chance
My younger grand daughter was so excited to show her mom the chocolate f that she got for Easter. She happily said “Mom, F is for Faye!” Her older sister piped up in the background, “F is for failure!” SMH!
Stubborn, definitely, everyone in my family is stubborn too. Thankfully my husband is very easygoing 🙂
When I worked retail, I saw people stealing clothing all the time! It was shocking, I had no idea how much theft there actually was until I worked in a clothing store! Eek!
I love Illamasqua and I wish it was sold again in-stores here. I know Sephora used to carry the line along with Bloomie’s I think. Then they phased out of the US :/
The most beautiful design on an eyeshadow palette would be either NARS Hanamichi eyeshadow palette or Chanel Coromandels eyeshadow palette.
Both are beyond gorgeous and if I owned either one of them, I’d never be able to use them.
I’m definitely more stubborn.
I really want to try Kat Von D and don’t sell the brand in my country! 🙁 And I never worn a smokey eye before
Never rocked a smokey eye but would like to!
They used to have Bourjois at Sephora, I think. More of a France thing?

None of the eyeshadows I’ve ever purchased have had patterns or designs. I don’t mind; some are almost too pretty to mess up!
Majolica majorca from Japan is my favourite, they make the most perfect velvetly soft pink-gold eyeshadow. I will be so sad when I run out
Funniest person in my family? My 3 year old, of course! 🙂
I worked at a gas station once, and a lady came in once and stuffed all our medicine packs in her shirt. I’m talking 20 or more of those plastic, bulky square packages!
I try to rock a smokey eye once a week. I love it in all dark colors.
And I really like the pattern in a new makeup revolution eyeshadow palette.
Lol, I can be really stubborn (I prefer to call it determined). My husband seems to think it’s a Japanese trait as most of my family is the exact same way. 🙂

I had kind of a pink/smoke/beige swirly eye shadow once — I really loved it, but can’t remember where I got it!
I don’t know how to do a smoky eye so the last time was never!
I’m stubborn, REALLY stubborn. If you asked my husband what he would change about me it would be that I not be so stubborn. The funny thing is my stubbornness has served him well in some situations. I’m a Capricorn and he often calls me “Billy” or accuses me of “Billying” when I’m being stubborn.
My husband is the funniest person I know, he says he’s shy and introverted but when you get him in a group he’s the life of the party and everyone hangs on his every word. He’s easily the best, funniest story teller I’ve ever met.
Smokey eye is one of my all time fav looks for going out, when I go to the club I rock it with some glittery eye shadow!
I like MAC because it I can swtach it here in germany (so many brands we don`t have here), it is affordable and it is good quality.
My favorite make up and skincare line that’s not as popular in the us, but I think it’s really good is Shiseido. I use think it’s an “older” line, BUT now that I’m “older” (30s) I luv their line. They have some pretty good eye shadows, sun screen (I’ve rebought a few times), and skin care. I do own their brush and eye lash curler, so I do luv their line.
Let there be peace, let there be happiness everywhere
A little of both stubborn and easy going.
hallo, love, I hope you and Connor Claire are well and having an amazing springtime, even if it is flying by crazy fast! (tabs too! tell him I too am picky about which dish I eat from! ?) We’ve finally just gotten some solidly good weather over here in western PA, so tulips are blooming and everything is sunny and in that goldilocks not-too-hot zone… the best!
I think the prettiest eyeshadows I’ve ever seen have got to be the Hourglass modernist palettes… the purple hued one especially; I about melted the first time I saw it. it is just too too pretty. I’ve never used one, so I can’t speak to the fallout I’ve heard about, but I do question the practicality of all the shades running together! I’ll give em credit though, it is a work of cosmetic art! 🙂
I am most def stubborn. I find it extremely hard to budge once I have something set in my mind!! I also have a type A personality on top of it, which can be a dangerous mix. I do have to say as I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned how to bend, just a little bit..
The funniest person in my family is definitely my daughter, what three year old isn’t hilarious?!
I saw a man steal a small item at a store. I looked at him and told him I saw what you just did. He threatened me so I went and got store security and had him escort me to my car. Whew!
my brother is the funniest person in my family 🙂
i saw someone try to steal headphones at best buy a couple of weeks ago. i told one of the staff members and they caught the guy
Ok, so I can’t say these are my favorite brands because I haven’t tried anything from them, but I wish we had Nars, Becca and Tarte in Poland. I mean, come on! I’m dying to try their stuff! However, they recently started selling Urban Decay and Too Faced in Sephoras here so I have hope for the future 😉
I am the funniest person in my family.
See, I just made a joke.

I’m generally easygoing, but I’m very stubborn when people try to get me to do things I don’t believe in or simply don’t want to do.
Hi Karen, the funniest person in my family is ma mum ; all my friends love her ^^
What’s your favorite makeup line that isn’t widely carried in your home country? CoverFX! I love them, but are not available here where I live…
My husband and my sister are the funniest people in my family. I’m pretty easygoing but am stubborn at times. Who isn’t!?
I am so stubborn I drive myself nuts! I wish Zoeva was more widely available in the US.
My aunt and I were just talking about the fact that so many product links take us to Sephora. Aside from wanting badly to try items from the Sephora Collection they are also the only place I was able to find No Cosmetics no bleeding lips liner and all the amazing Estee Edit products! This is an amazing giveaway, thanks so much for the chance, would love to have a starter for a splurge at Sephora!!!
I am unbelievably stubborn. I am, after all, Taurus!
Hi, MBB family!

Right now my little dude, who is 2, is the funniest person in my family!
I’ve been told I’d be stubborn like a mule. Since I find mules kinda cute that’s ok with me. 😉
I absolutely looove the packaging on the tartelette in bloom palette!!
It’s been a few months since I’ve tried rocking a smokey eye. I’m still trying to perfect it
I’m easygoing in day to day life, but when it comes down to more serious stuff I’m hella stubborn.
My grandma is the funniest and most easy going person I know 🙂
I was at H&M browsing and all of a sudden I saw a women grab something and start to walk out. The alarms went off and some of the people working there starting yelling and trying to get her to come back. I felt so bad for the workers and couldn’t believe the woman just walked out!
My 95 year old grandpa is the funniest person in my family!
Chantecaille Spring Palette has me swooning!
I saw the new Viseart Theory eyeshadow palettes and can’t wait to try them. I think that I might just fall in love with Theory II Minx
I am the funniest person in my family. the only way for me to keep living after seeing humanity’s injustices to each other and our ridiculous posturing is to laugh at its absurdities.
This past year I have become obsessed with learning how to use and apply makeup. So I’ve spent countless hours on YouTube watching tutorials from different makeup lovers. There are so many wonderful brands that it’s so hard to say which would be my favorite but if I have to choose I would say tarte, not only is the packaging always gorgeous but the product always impresses me.
My 11 year old daughter is the funniest person in our family, she keeps us laughing.
My hubby is the funniest person in our family.
I haven’t really tried brands from outside the U.S. I would love to try some from Europe
I really like Kiko cosmetics. It’s an Italian company and right now there’s only about 4 stores that are on the east coast.
I like to wear a softer smokey eye during the week, more browns and cranberry tones. I find that wearing a thick eyeliner ages me more (now that I’ve hit the big 4-0) so I’Ve started exploring other ways of wearing eye makeup.
The last time I rocked a smokey eye it was on accident! I had bought an elf eyeliner that had a cream eye shadow on the other end,it was
I love sephora, i shop there weekly, this week i bought a cuticle kit by deborah lippmann
I am so stubborn and rigid; I have to schedule relaxation time.
The funniest person I know is my daughter.
I wish we had Nars or tarte cosmetics over here in Germany – but the Brand I miss the most is hands down Colourpop ?
But also with them I would not be able to rock a smokey eye..
Have a nice Sunday, Karen
I would like to say that I’m easygoing, but I think the truth is that I’m more stubborn than I would like to admit!
Okay so I work in a super market on checkouts and I seen a little girl about 3 stealing sweats from a pick and mix 🙂
I’m from Canada and my favourite Canadian beauty brand at the moment is Lise Watier! Thank you for the giveaway xoxo
My friend and I went to the mall with another friend we hadn’t seen in a while (I’ll call her Amelia). When we arrived back at Amelia’s house to drop her off, she started pulling out all these things from her pants and jacket. She had stolen all of them while we were all together! She was so proud of herself. Needless to say, I never really saw Amelia again.
Hello girls 🙂
I’m from the Philippines and Maybelline user.
I love their products because it really blends well on my skin plus they usually have a huge sale here.
I love your giveaways! You rock!
I like Iman cosmetics and they are only available in some parts of Canada.
I’m patiently waiting for the Tom Ford Summer collection to arrive to Mexico the next month, I’m super exited as I love TF so freaking much??
I guess I am probably stubborn about some things, but generally I am totally easy-going! 🙂
I had an uncle who was so funny. He would always crack us up. He passed away 2 years ago.
I’ve never seen anyone steal anything before, but I used to steal gum when I was very little. My mom found out and made me go back to the stores and apologize! Lesson learned!
The funniest person in my family would have to be my husband, but I’m a close second.
My favorite makeup line not found here in the U.S is Shiseido’ s Majolica Majorca, which I used to buy in Japan.
Some makeup companies that I wish were carried widely in the U.S. include Shu Uemura, Lise Watier, Tony Moly, Etude House, Lioele, Sleek, Barry M. I also feel like Milani and Jordana are becoming hard to come by in drugstores near me.
I don’t wear smokey eyes since I usually prefer a bright lip (and I have no idea how to do a smokey eye anyway!)
My brother is the funny one in the family!
I have never been able to do a “smokey eye”.
I have not seen many (if any) Napoleon Perdis products in the U.S. (east coast, anyway).
•Who is the funniest person in your family?
My dad. He has a total natural wit and perfect comedic timing. He tells the most hilarious stories and somehow manages to find the humor in every situation. I’m super jealous haha…
•Are you more stubborn, or easygoing?
Definitely stubborn. I try to be easygoing but I am all about wanting things a specific way and…yeah. Always have been, always will be.
Baking a chocolate cake as we speak for our 6 month wedding anniversary! Smells yummy! Hope you had a great weekend!
I love Mac but Clinique is also generous with their bonus gift. Just pre-oredered mine!
I’ll be going to see Duran Duran in concert soon, and I’m wondering if Simon LeBon will be wearing white pants (and maybe even a white blazer). ?
The funniest person is defiantly my son. He is turning a year old tomorrow and oh my gosh does he have my husband and I laughing everyday.
My son is so funny! He does impersonations and talks in amazing accents….funny kid! lol
I’ve always been partial to Chantecaille limited edition eyeshadow palette designs. (My favorite to date is the Save the Bees campaign). I love that they’re environmentally focused as well!
I sure need some makeup. My sons wedding is coming up.
Smoky eye! The smokier the better!
The funniest person in my family is definitely my dog! She loves to bark at her own reflection which gets me every time 🙂
I am so easygoing ….I wouldn’t want to be any other way.
I just saw someone get tackled outside the doors of a Target store for trying to steal some electronics. It was out of control!
I’ve just been studying all weekend.

Watching tv show “Fear the Walking Dead” tonight
I think I am both stubborn and easy going. Somethings I don’t care and will go with the flow. On other things, well…it’ll be much easier if you just let me have my way.
Stubborn
My mom is the funniest person in my family. The prettiest design I’ve seen is probably a Chanel blush I purchased. It has a rose pattern.
I think the CHANTECAILLE Save the Bees Palette is beautiful.
I wish they sold Kiko products here in the US
I picked up cover girl oh sugar lip balm in the exact same color as my lips. What a fail. Lol I like the formula so I’ll try an actual color next time.
Today is soooo hoott.. I think i’m heavily dehydrated
My brother is the funniest Male in the family but I am definitely the funniest…..that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
There are so many brands that aren’t available in Spain and I’d love to try, like Anastasia BH, Becca, Tarte, Lorac or Laura Mercier. Most of them can be available online but the international shipping can be very expensive.
I really want to try Zoeva, hope it comes to the States! I know it’s easy to order online, but I really prefer to see makeup in real life before buying it.
My sister has a very quick wit, and of course the dogs are complete goofballs.
I am stubborn person
I love the Leopard print bronzers sold in stores! They are just so cute, but idk how practical they are. Then again, I love nearly all patterns and colors of makeup.
I am pretty easygoing, fairly quiet, but really friendly! I think some people think I’m snobbish because I don’t talk a lot(lol) but it’s just that I’m a classic introvert.
A few brands I would love to try that I’ve seen blogged about are: Zoeva, Black Up, LORAC, Sleek and Illamasqua.
My brother is the funniest person in my family because makes me to laugh so much everytime.
I live in the US, and I’ve had a chance to pick up some Sleek and Bourjois products in Europe – I’d love to be able to have them in a store near me so I could see more of it in person instead of pictures online!
I’m a good person, I love people but I have a stubborn streak!
I haven’t done a smokey eye in such a long time, about two years.
Have you ever seen anybody steal something before?
One time when I was working a shift at MAC, We caught a lady who had taken an artist’s brushes and stuffed them in her purse! She claimed they fell in when she put her purse down, but my coworkers later told me she’s been caught stealing lipstick testers before- apparently she made her son carry them in his jean pockets!

Worked at a drugstore in my teens and people were always stealing. The worst was when one of our senior citizen customers was caught stealing perfume because we all liked her and had no clue!
I’m stubborn but trying to be easy going.
I would love to see Sleek in the US
Hi Karen! How are you and your family? This stay-at-home mom and wife is catching up on reading your blog while listening to my favorite Pandora station at Starbucks right now. I am very thankful to get a break from my responsibilities.
I tried a smokey eye yesterday and thought I kind of looked like a panda. My husband told me I didn’t, but I second guessed him when my three year old niece asked me why my eyes were black.
I am stubborn!!
The funniest person in my immediate family is my sister, Rebecca! She is so quick and hilarious! And our cousin Jeff is also very humorous! Wish I got that gene. I am more sarcastic and self-deprecating and most people don’t get it. Oh well…Hope you had a wonderful weekend with the family!
I worked in retail for about 5 years. It seems like there was a shoplifting incident every week or so. People would attempt to take off the ink tags on jeans while in the dressing room. That could be a mess!
Not an eyeshadow pan; but I LOVE the design of Charlotte Tilbury’s Bar of Gold. http://www.charlottetilbury.com/us/the-bar-of-gold.html
“What’s your favorite makeup line that isn’t widely carried in your home country?”:

Are you more stubborn, or easygoing?

New Years!

I recently moved to the US and even though I have found so many things to love here I really miss getting Bourjois makeup. Seriously, how come it is not widely available here, it is pretty awesome and cheap. Also, SUQQU should come to the US too, especially their eyeshadows.
I love the beautiful designs on Chanel and Dior products! They’re almost too pretty to use!
I am very stubborn.
Yes! I’ve witnessed a theft before. In a grocery store I watched a lady put a bunch of makeup in her purse. She just walked away like it didn’t phase her at all
I’m pretty easy going except for when I have my mind set on something, I have to follow thru with it.
I love Bourjois and miss the days when it was in Ulta!
My sister is the most funny in my family.
Last time I rocked a smokey eye was two days ago when the boyfriend and I went out for Mexican food and Margs !
I used to be stubborn, but now I’m more easygoing.
I’m super stubborn, I think my middle name should be Jackass lol… and I’d have to say the funniest person in my family is my brother, his laugh alone is hilarious
