The polishes look bigger than I thought they were, making me reassess whether I should buy them. I love nail polishes!

Wow…. $30 for shades that probably have many cheaper dupes? Interesting that they went for an even higher price point than Chanel!

Think of how many bottles of OPI or China Glaze $30 would get you. And for $30, I hope the nail polishes don’t chip.

Way too expensive for an average nail polish-nothing interests me here

How gorgeous do they look in this display? Although they don’t look like terribly unique shades.

Pretty but I’ll never spend $30 on nail polish. Heck, I won’t spend half that!

Ladies, Ladies this is just a tip to give you for future reference. Lacquer polishes are different than nail polish. Lacquer is about 80% what gel or shellac can stand up to. That is why lacquer is a better choice. I have been using lacquer since April 2013 and love it. It can hold up to 10-14 days depending if you use heavy duty hand gloves for washing dishes. Tom Ford does have some unique colors. I have been searching for a “British Red or “Chinese Red” for the longest. There are other brands of lacquer which are cheaper, but it is finding that one unique color. I like to find lacquer colors that have matching lip colors. remember if you get your nails gel at a salon it costs about avg $35.00 just for one visit. If you buy the lacquer yourself you can at least get 5 to 10 manicures. But to give you another tip, try OPI Bonded Aid, base coat, ridge filler, color lacquer and top coat/dryer Seche Vite and you will get a longer wearing mani.

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
