I think it’s cute. I like how there’s a different coloured flower on each of the eye shadows. I guess I won’t enjoy them for long if I get any of them though, I always depot! Might get a lipstick and/or blush as well, so I can enjoy the packaging on those. 🙂

I’m completely in love with the packaging! I’m buying the Shell Pearl beauty powder (which I like but totally don’t need) just ’cause I love the exterior so much. 🙂

I love the illustrations on the packaging because I love the whimsical feeling to it. The artwork’s style is similar to my own drawing style too.

Personally, I love it, I think it’s beautiful. But when I heard it was based on the famous pattern “The Strawberry Thief” by William Morris, which I had to study EXTENSIVELY in Material Cultures class for my BFA at art school, I was even more excited! I love the pattern, and omg, I had to study it a lot. And it’s always cool to me that Mac really thinks about the past and future of the art world when creating their lines! (There was that one collection called Rockoco too, which is awesome, because the Rococo period was right after the Baroque)

I’m more into the packaging than the products, to be honest =P It’s gorgeous! I’m picking up shell pearl and ever hip for sure =)

I loved loved loved the colors…and I thought that the packaging was cute, but the colors sold it for me. I went in for ONE eyeshadow and ONE nailpolish. yea right… I made it to the MAC at Penn Square in Oklahoma City at 6:30p (I had exams all day and couldn’t get there earlier, and I’d been trying to call all afternoon to make sure they had the launch and when the phone line was busy nearly every single time I called that I had to move my butt!!) and about HALF of the collection was already sold, and I heard the employees say to each other behind the counter in the doorway to stock (I have very sharp ears and read lips lol) that the Liberty to London collection was going to be gone by the end of the night.

They did tell me that their location was going to get another restock on Friday the 19th so that I could have a second chance to pick up anything that I missed the first time. I couldn’t believe how much of a madhouse it was. I’m pretty recent to MAC but I have been able to get limiteds quite easily. Not this time.

loved loved loved A Different Groove. Tried it on a whim and knew I had to have it. I’m going to be keeping even the cardboard boxes from this collection!

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
