Welcome to the jungle, baby! Every piece of makeup in this $60 limited edition six-piece set (seven pieces including the makeup bag) has Tarte’s signature skin-lovin’ ingredient.
Amazonian Clay, anyone?
The set includes a bottle of Maracuja Miracle Foundation (available in Fair, Light, Light-Medium, Medium, Tan or Deep), a tube of LipSurgence Liquid Lipshine in a berry shade, a tube of Gifted Amazonian Clay Mascara, two brushes, a makeup bag and, the apparent star of the show, the Amazonian Clay Eye & Cheek Palette with a coral powder blush and six cool-toned powder eyeshadows.
The blush, gloss and mascara are the standouts for me. All three have that fresh, natural-looking, “Oh, I’m just chillaxing on my day off!” makeup look.
As for the eyeshadows…for me, I prefer a little more pigment, but if you like fairly sheer pigments and cool color temps, you’ll find those here.
The $60 limited edition set is a QVC.com exclusive, available one day only, February 13, 2015, so make a note in your Hello Kitty day planner if you’re interested. 🙂
Laughed out loud at that Axl Rose picture 😀

What a neat little set! That picture, though. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA So fitting!
Ah, that’s what I feared: soft, lower pigment shadows. Tarte’s shadows just never do it for me. I think you just convinced me to skip the set. I am drawn into the pretty mosaic purple design of the palette. For shame!
It’s actually a new foundation/concealer hybrid called “Foundcealer” (dumbest name evah!) and it’s really rather sheer from the pics I’ve seen of it.
AND – it’s available on auto delivery, with additional kits delivered in June and in October. Muse has pics of all 3 on her blog (hope it’s ok to say that here!) and I’m all over the AD option on this one!!
Yes, the TBT photo is a hoot and I love your little rhyme. What a deal this collection is! I actually like Tarte’s powdery, on the sheer side shadow, but I have enough of them that I don’t need more. Would love to try the foundation and the brushes look great.

The only thing I have really liked from Tarte so far is their cheek tints and the blushes. I am yet to explore and like other products from the brand. Since I am not a person who wears eyeshadow I will be skipping this one

I do think this is a great deal. Tarte shadows are usually hit or miss for me as I prefer “disco ball queen in your face you can see me coming” type pigment. 🙂
LOL I love the Guns ‘n Roses reference! I’d really love to try the foundation in this set, and I already know that I love the mascara. The packaging on the palette is pretty, but I’m not too excited about the eye shadows, unfortunately, so I’ll probably skip this set.
Guess what song I have in my head now? LOL I am so excited about this set!! Tarte is one of my favorite brands. I can’t wait to try the new foundation. 🙂
Thanks for the great swatches. The blush and lip gloss really do look lovely!

1 day only? nerve-wracking! hahaha that classic photo!
Axl cracked me up!
Oh, I like the gloss color. I’m a devotee of their tinted moisturizer, as you know, but am not super hot on the pressed powder so I’m not sure how I’d feel about the blush/shadow. It’s a cute set and, if nothing else, it gave you an excuse to use that pic of Axl. I’m totally laughing at that get-up. HAHA!
