September 3rd, 2011 by Karen 13 Comments

Benefit just launched a new line of false lashes ($15 each) at their Brow Bars and Boutiques.

Peep three of the nine styles and the Lash Glue ($8) above.

The Benefit Lash Lovelies include…

  • Starlet Lash — Demi lashes for a glamorous doe-eyed look
  • Big Spender Lash — Flared lashes for a temptingly sexy look
  • Prima Donna Lash — Finely crossed lashes for va-va-voom volume
  • Little Flirt Lash — Varied length lashes for a playful babydoll look
  • Pin-Up Lash — Varied length lashes for a playful babydoll look
  • Debutante Lash — Refined, delicate lashes for natural beauty
  • Angel Lash — Curled & precisely separated lashes for a perfectly pretty look
  • Rockette Lash — Criss-cross lashes with a hint of sparkle for a show-stopping look
  • Going Solo Lash — Individual lashes for custom fullness and length
  • Lash Glue — Clear, quick-dry lash adhesive

When was the last time you wore a set of false lashes?

@Terry. I used to have the same concern, especially since I wear contacts & my eyes r beyond sensitive & watery, but now I can’t imagine not using them. It just takes practice & patience.

The packaging is genius. Since there are so many options, i never know which lashes to choose. The packaging gives me a much better idea of how they would look on someone. i like the third pair of lashes in the picture. Not a big fan of the crisscrossed lashes, but i need to see what they look like on someone with their eyes open.

It’s always dumb luck if I get lashes on right, but don’t these look amazing?

I’ve never worn them because I haven’t had the patience to practice. I’d like to know for what occasions everyone wears them.

Oh man! I think im in love!!!!! Tip ladies , put the mirror in your lap and look down. It’s also easier if you let the glue set for a few seconds before you apply. It makes them stick right away and not slip all around 🙂

why do I feel like these lashes are similar to those cheap fake lashes sold on ebay? the lash types, the thick lashlines. I hope I’m wrong.

Can’t wait to see you sporting these falsies, Karen! I rarely wear them. I I’ve yet to find one that looks natural but still gives my eyes oomph!

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
