That is such a pretty palette. I love how there are both neutral and bright colours in one palette. This would be something you can take and wear anywhere!

      Hi Sheila,

I can’t wait to dig into it. I plan to play tonight after I’m done with my work. YAY!

I started with a neutral look using Smog, Toasted, and Mildew.
Now I’m still stuck on what to do for a more colorful look. I don’t know what to do with Snatch though, it’s a little chunky/gritty.

      Hi Maggie,

Oh, that sounds really pretty. 🙂

As for the glitter… hmm, maybe try applying it wet?

      Hi Hazel,

LOL, that one called to me first.

Maybe use it as a liner? That might be pretty.

UD’s light colored glitter shadows (midnight cowboy & all it’s permutations, grifter) seem to look best on me piled heavily on the lid with some liner on the waterline and lots of mascara. I heard snatch is a glitter?

I haven’t tried any U/D eyeshadows yet, I still can’t decide if I should get the Book of Shadows Vol. II.

      Hi Amy,

I’m really enjoying Book of Shadows Vol. II. The only big draw back is it isn’t very portable.

Pretty colors. I’d start with Toasted all over the lid, Flash as eyeliner along the top and bottom lashes and Mildew along the inner corner of the eye for an extra pop of color.

    What a beautiful palette!

How about Snatch all over the lid, then some Flash on the outer corner to halfway on the lid, and Mildew from the inner corner blended to meet Flash?

Of course, there are so many looks to be created with this gorgeous palette…….:D

At first, this palette didn’t move me, and I was kinda meh about it. But seeing this photo… aaah, I’m having second thoughts. I love Flash and Painkiller, they look fierce!

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
