These 10 Stars Give Autographs: The Kat Von D Starry Eyes Autograph Pencil Set

The Kat Von D Starry Eyes Autograph Pencil Set ($49)

If you get all starry-eyed over Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On pencil liners (I do), here’s one more reason for starry eyes: the Kat Von D Starry Eyes Autograph Pencil Set ($49).

It comes with 10 bold and creamy pencil liners that stick to lash and water lines like…I don’t know, something sticky and great.

They feel great — nice and soft — and I like how long they last, from 6-7 hours, but I feel like, for the price, they could have been a little bigger.

And I’m pretty sure we’ve seen some of these colors before…

PRICE: $49 for a set of 10 liners (0.02 ounces each)
AVAILABILITY: Available now at Sephora stores and online at sephora.com
MAKEUP AND BEAUTY BLOG RATING: B

Wow, those really ARE small! For $50?? No thanks. There are so many other liner sets out at the moment with more product and, in my opinion, prettier shades :/ Sorry Kat Von D. Love the packaging with the seal though!

Wow, they look like an even worse value after the Sephora $15 set the other day. I realize that these are liners so it’s apples and oranges but, still, it’s like 15 apples to 1 orange! 🙂

I LOVE some of these (like the light blue/green) but will probably skip – the price doesn’t seem worth it.. :/

I like her makeup line (I have a couple lipsticks & shadow palettes) but the price on these is a little steep for what you get and the colors are nothing special. Of the 10, two are black and two are brown? Kind of a waste.

At first I thought these were full size which would make it a nice set. But for minis? No thanks.

Oh boooo! Why are they so tiny?! They looked fine until you put them up to your phone. I think I’ll stick to the Make Up For Ever liner set! For $36, two full size, and four minis, I could justify it! 🙂

I’ve never tried any thing from this line, but the colors sometimes look really fun, so I’m tempted. A couple of years ago I received a set of Sephora liners- they are similar in color and texture to these- but I’m happy with my sephora liners and always receive great compliments.

Boo, these are so tiny for the price 🙁 This set would be nicer at a $35-40 price. The packaging is tops, at least! Kat always gets that part right.

A friend got these for me. I don’t have much of Kat von D’s makeup other than one eyeshadow. Kat knows her liner. Smooth like butter. The gold is yellow gold and perfect for holiday parties.

I agree that for the price you can probably get something better. However, I’m the lady that puts eyeliner in EVERY bag and some regular sized liners don’t fit my smaller clutches. The mini sizes from this set save the day!

You think $50’s ridiculous? It’s $60 in Canada!! Another $10 because we live up north…that makes sense…

Hmm, those are kind of small…

Every time I go into Sephora (which isn’t as often as I’d like), I look at the Kat Von D stuff and think, “hmm, maybe…” And then never buy anything.

Maybe I just can’t get past her personality.

I contemplated buying these the other day and ended up with her new duochrome shadows, all but the pink (three of ’em came home with me). Her makeup is actually pretty good and other than the price on these eyeliners pretty affordable. Her palettes have always been amazing and come with many versatile colors.

I was going to purchase these from Sephora and have them posted to Australia, after seeing the size I am really glad I didn’t! I thought they would be bigger and closer to the Urban Decay 24/7 Liners

I saw these and thought of purchasing them @ Sephora, however out of the 10 there is only 4 colors I really wanted therefore I settled for the Sephora brand eyeliner minis for 16.00 and its just as good. <3

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a.
