It def looks like an iceland poppy! I grew some from seed last year and they are beginning to come up again! It is a poppy for sure! It is possible it is another variety though! They are lovely! xo

    If it’s growing on a bush, it’s a primrose.

I don´t know the english name for the flower I have in mind, but looking at the translation of “iceland poppy” I´d vote for that as well.. :o)
The ones I mean grow on a bush and thw flowers have colours that range from a very light orange yellow to an almost red orange…so, so pretty!!

I have no idea what this is, but I just wanted to say that your flower pictures are absolutely gorgeous. I read your post the other day about photography and please keep taking pictures outdoors. Your nature and flower pictures really brighten up my day.

The beautiful flower (great photo) is without a doubt a poppy. Look @ the stem behind the blossom, it’s a dead giveaway. Excellent inspiration for a makeup look!

I think it is a poppy, one of my favourite flowers because they are very voluminous.

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
