Nice kit, the price is good but I’m wondering how great they are?

ECO tools is a pretty good brand for drugstore brushes. I should buy a set for myself for once, rather than always giving them away as presents.

Maybe I’m spoiled or maybe it’s the brushes, but I have a HARD time picking up color with these brushes. The bristles are SO SO SO soft that they seem to not grab the color. For a light sheer neutral look this morning, I had to go over the Green Smoke 6 times (!!!!) to make it show up using the big fluffy shader. I love my 239 . . . I do appreciate though the blending ability. Not picking up lots of color meant an easy blend for me this morning. Worth the $7.99 I paid at Walgreens I suppose. Bought them based off Karen’s love of the bronzer brush (which I couldn’t find lol). Definitely super soft brushes though . . . cheap plasticky handle.

Wow, even if just one or 2 of them are good; it’s still a bargain!

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
