MAC Dare to Wear Eyeshadow in Sassy Grass

August 13th, 2010 by Karen 11 Comments

MAC Dare to Wear Eyeshadow in Sassy Grass, $14.50.

Would you rock this?

P.S. When I see this shade I automatically think of the phrase, “Yer @ss is grass!,” a colorful playground term tossed around by the bullies at my elementary school. It was heard most often while they tormented shy, small classmates, like yours truly.

I love this kind of grassy green (for clothes) but I think I would prefer a bit of shimmer if it’s for eyeshadow. Still pretty for people who have the skill to blend it though…

I love bright green shadow sometimes but I always wear one with shimmer. I’ve never tried a matte green shadow. Perhaps more as a liner than all over the lid. 😉

I bought this one to mainly use as a liner or accent! It’s pretty pigmented i have to say.

beautiful green I reckon you could mix it up with metallics to make it really pop, like gold or bronze.

    Karen,
I want this shadow so bad!!! I can see wearing this with something like Soft Brown, Pink Venus (from Fafi), or even something daring like Shadowy Lady. I’m so getting it this week and I can’t wait!!

I really like how the colour looks as a matte in the matte because it reminds me of Crayola crayons.

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
