For some reasons, I can’t wear any of Chanel perfumes. I think my nose does not like the spicy notes.

OMG I cannot believe you said that!!! My hubbie made me watch it recently (it was my first time seeing it all the way through) and we have been saying that ever since. Also “Ste-pha-nie-” in his little robot voice 🙂

Yay! No.5 rocks my socks. It is totally classic and totally female.

Chanel No. 5 is a classic! Nobody can touch that…not even Dior

Ugh, no way. I decided to try my luck in a magazine one day with the perfume sample and let me tell you, I was throwing up the next day because my head hurt that bad. My mom pretty much had to give me her anti-nausea medication to calm down my stomach, gave me my migraine medicine and sent me to bed. I REM slept for the next five hours meaning a nuclear bomb could go off and I wouldn’t have heard it (this coming from someone who’s a very light sleeper). Aren’t you glad you’re not me? I see nothing wrong with being unscented. I like being unscented by perfumes. Means no hives, no itching and no migraines.

I don’t even bother opening the perfume sample pages anymore, I rip them out and take them out the trash can the minute I get the magazine. I’m just too sensitive to scents to handle perfume.

I totally OD’d on Chanel No. 5 in high school and college (yep, I was totally pretentious back then) and I still love it till now. I also started wearing Chanel Chance because I heard that the blend for Chance was based on elements from the No. 5 formula.

Of all the luxury/designer brands, I definitely think that Chanel makes the best fragrances ever.

Unfortunately, my mother in law wears No. 5 so I cannot wear it and I do not like it on me anyway. HER mother wears NO. 9 so I do not either. MY Chanel fragrance is Coco Mademoiselle, which I truly do love.

My 11yr. old son bought this for me for my bday this year (with help from my mom…) I wish I liked it… I want to like it… but I totally don’t. The fragrance is just not me at all.

I rarely wear perfume, it’s just not really my thing. But when I do wear it, I wear Chanel No. 5!

Totally but in small doses! It’s a very strong perfume. Smells great, it’s a classic beyond classic!

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
