Guerlain Belle de Nuit Collection for Holiday 2011: Parure de Nuit Pressed Powder & Blush

September 10th, 2011 by Karen 9 Comments

How pretty is the new Guerlain Parure de Nuit Presse Powder & Blush ($67)? It’s one of five pieces from the Guerlain holiday 2011 collection, Belle de Nuit. Find it at Guerlain counters in November. 🙂

You know, I never buy pretty makeup like this. It’s just too pretty to use and I can’t justify spending money on something I know I wouldn’t touch for fear of ruining the design.

Love the compact but like everyone else is saying that is just too far out of my price range for just one item. I look for bargain buys and things that have “gift with purchase” though in the past i have splurged for some items. My makeup remover was $27.00 but you only need about a pea size amount so it lasts forever that is till a teen girl spends the weekend here and hides out in her bedroom doing her makeup over and over again…lol… and I won’t get started on all my perfumes she wears, the house smells like a bordello when she leaves.

Oh it’s so pretty! and expensive…I would probably be too afraid to actually use it. It’s fun to look at, though. 😀

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
