Oh, dangit!

I’m sorry, pardon my French. 🙂 Just a few quick snaps of the new limited edition Too Faced Pardon My French Set ($49, an $83 value), available now at Sephora stores and sephora.com.

The set includes…

  • One tiny 0.11-oz Shadow Insurance
  • The Bonjour Summer Eye Shadow palette with nine shadows — Plumeria (a vivid pink), Cocoa Beach (a plummy brown sugar), Firefly (a copper), Chocolate Sun (a shimmery rich brown), Mermaid (a muted teal), Toasted Coconut (a matte caramel), Seashell (a shimmery dusty rose), Sand Dollar (a peachy shimmer) and Sunbeam (a pale golden shimmer)
  • A mini 0.25-oz Lash Injection Extreme Volume Tubing Mascara
  • A full-size 0.04-oz Perfect Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner in Perfect Black
  • One makeup bag

Cute, yah?

I really like the look of Firefly in this palette! Looking for a copper shade like that!

I was hoping to get this during the Chic week sale since Sephora wasnt carrying the A la mode one. I couldnt find the swathes anywhere, so I didnt go ahead with it. This one is okay but I think I will get the La mode for the shades!

Another cute palette from Too Faced. I can’t believe I haven’t tried this brand, fix that by getting a nice palette :o) Xx

Who gives a make-up bag with a shadow palette? How cute is that? 🙂

The bag is way cute! And the Perfect Eyes Liner really sweetens the deal of getting the palette. My favorite eyeliner formula.

I’m disappointed with this palette. It’s basically the same as last year’s Summer Eyes palette, give or take 2 shades that are different.

OK, I’m clearly crabby because now I’m nitpicking. The shadow names aren’t very French themed and I’m irritated that if you’re going to name a collection Pardon my French and have a palette named Bonjour Summer, you should Frenchify your color names. This is obviously my bad mood and I shouldn’t be taking it out on Too Faced. 🙂

Btw, is yellow having a bigger moment than usual this spring? Maybe I’m just noticing it more.

The set is really cute, though I think the makeup bag is the part I want most. Whoops, lol.

What a coincidence, I was just at ULTA this afternoon and I bought this palette as a gift for my sister. The colors are versatile and I think she will love it! Thanks for the review.

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
