Hello, Kitty!

April 5th, 2014 by Karen 19 Comments

I’ve been extra crazy for Hello Kitty lately (and by lately I mean forever)…

Homegirl even has a satellite office/display now at Barnes & Noble. “Oooh! Temptation.”

And Target…

Which is where I saw these Hello Kitty gardening gloves I’m kinda jonesing for. The only thing stopping me is that they’re made for children, haha! Or adults with extremely small hands.

And then there’s this Hello Kitty jewelry in the March issue of Vogue Japan.

I’d rock those pearls in a hot second!

Do you like Hello Kitty?

Love that Hello Kitty mug! The Japan pavilion in Epcot at Disney World is Hello Kitty heaven for me.

I’m crazy for Hello Kitty, too! I’ll buy just about anything with Hello Kitty on it. And yes, I’m a grown-up 🙂

Adorable. I’ve always loved Hello Kitty. As a young child the Hello Kitty tv show would always play and I loved it so much! So many Japanese cartoons came to America that I love. I’m going to Japan in probably two years and knowing me I’ll probably pick up a plethora of very kawaii and hello kitty items.;)

Love all the Hello Kitty in the pics !! I have always been a Keroppi (the frog character) fan myself. The stuff is so cute, I just can’t resist it sometimes, but make myself or else I would have Keroppi/Hello Kitty everything 🙂

I LOVE Hello Kitty! Probably a little too much lol. I’m still using my HK bed set lmao. I just adore that cute little face! I totally need to track down that necklace. I’d probably wear it with everything!!

I’ve been a HK fan for as long as I can remember…some 30 years. True dedication is driving great distances just to see a little Sanrio display at a family-style chicken restaurant that you despise. Yet, you know that the display is usually chock full of Hello Kitty goodies so you make the trip!

I think Hello Kitty and the Sanrio characters are really cute. I wish we had a store in my homecity.

Hello Kitty is cute! I think my favourite Sanrio character is still Keroppi or Pochacco, but a dedicated Hello Kitty store opened near where I live recently, and I’ve been meaning to check it out 😉

Hello Kitty was never a huge love of mine. I did have a pair of HK sunglasses that were the best fitting sunglasses I’ve ever worn. I was 15 when I bought them and I miss them to this day!

    “With a splash we leap
    and plunge beneath the surface!

I did not hear you approach
won’t you walk with me?” ….:) Love HK !

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, which I’ve been doing daily since 2007 (!), you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my four-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my torbie girl cat (Pretty Girl Rosie, a.k.a. PGR).
