    Review forthcoming?

I saw these online while I was stalking a ring that looks like my puppy, and considered mauvette but I wasn’t sure about the texture.

Those colours aren’t blowing me away, and swatched they look a little unimpressive – maybe even kind of pants – but, boy, oh boy, do I ever love the name and that completely! beautiful! packaging! It’s perfectly understated luxury. So well done, Anthropologie, on the visual front, at least. Hopefully they’ll improve their formulas or colour range, but keep the great look.

Maybe it’s just the lighting but the consistency of those look a little dry. They just don’t look like they would be moisturizing.

I like all the shades particularly Claret. I would definitely give Albeit Lipsticks a try & maybe top it off with a hint of clear lip gloss. 🙂

The cases remind me of the old Estee Lauder cases which I always thought were nice.

I’d have to see these lippies in person, hopefully they aren’t as dry as they appear, Peony is pretty.

I am having a Sephora Beauty Giveaway on my blog if you’d like to check it out & enter(:

I have both Mulberry and Mauvette. I like them both. While they may look a little matte, they are pretty moisturizing and go on very smooth. I may have to check out Bisque on my next visit…..

It is a bit random but I totally want these because of their name. ‘Albeit’ is one of my favourite words (I’m weird like that.) I like the look of Claret.

About Makeup and Beauty Blog

Welcome to Makeup and Beauty Blog
Hi there! I’m Karen, your friendly neighborhood beauty addict, and I’m a Bay Area girl who hoards brown eyeshadow and covets coral lipstick. Every morning, I wake up and say, “I’m going to do something other than a smoky eye today.” Then…I end up doing a smoky eye anyway (most days). When I’m not putting on makeup, taking pictures of makeup or writing about makeup, you’ll find me hanging out with my hubby (“El Hub”), my almost-three-year-old daughter (Connor Claire) and my kitty supermodel cat (Tabs).
